Great fried pork chops. Good mac n cheese. The mashed potatoes and gravy were nothing special, def not from scratch. Good service.

I dont know what to not say about Havens Diner! We wanted some soul food to finish our vacation and we made the right decision. This should food was AMAZING!! The pork chops were fried perfectly and seasoned! The baked chicken had just the right amount of crisp. Everything was great! Sorry, I thought I had the pork chops pictured :(. Please take my word for it, they were amazing.

This place is so good. I go here at least 2-3 times a week. The entrees are all excellent and the vegetables and other sides are always consistently good.

Great food I got me some black eyed peas to go with my catfish dinner man it was so damn good yall. I was so full and pleased you couldnt even imagine. Keep up the good work.

I Had catfish, which was good. Mashed potatoes were instant, blah, fried corn was only okay.

I ordered fried catfish, coleslaw, fries, and fried okra and wasnt I disappointed! Not only was everything delicious but that catfish and fried okra was seasoned to perfection! That coleslaw was on point!

Collard greens, cabbage, corn and pintos, delicious vegetable plate and the sweet tea was awesome.

Really great save the pork chops worth of the greens were wonderful I love it can’t wait to go back

Visiting Chattanooga from South Carolina...search soul food and Havens Diner came up...knock my socks off! Best homemade fried chicken Ive had in a long time.

It smelled great but it is take out only so we didnt eat.

This was my first time eating here, and it will not be the last! I got the turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, and fried green tomatoes. Everything was delicious, and the staff was so nice.

Meatloaf was a joke. Cabbage was not seasoned. Yeah I could have spent my money somewhere else.

Barbecue Plate was delicious 6meaty bones I ordered bake beans, slaw, cornbread for my sides. The rain couldnt stop the Smell or the Sale of that Barbecue,. Keep up the good work Staff cause yall got some good food andthe prices are reasonable.

Waited over a hour as other customers came in after us and they got their food before us I understand first come first serve but damn my spouse has to eat as she takes medication wont be coming back for a long time

Legit Southern comfort food. The mac and cheese is the best Ive had locally, cornbread was just sweet enough, their hot sauce was flavorfully spicy. I really enjoyed my meal. The whiting fish was a little too fishy for me and I wonder if they gave me the catfish on accident- even still the breading was light and tasted great. Ill be back.

Amazing cooking and customer service! Still not sure about the Ox Tail however, they have several vegetarian choices including the beans!

My mother and I stopped by today for lunch. The mac n cheese was amazing! I think they have the best sweet tea in town. If you like peach cobbler definitely try it! The food was seasoned just right. Really delicious southern food. The people were really nice. I cant wait to go back and try something different.

The food is superb. Everything is seasoned perfectly & melts in your mouth with each bite. Much better than any restaurant chain in the area & beyond. Prices are reasonable & well worth the portions they dish up. The staff is very friendly, courteous & helpful also.

Absolutely delicious. The best soul food restaurant in the city. Havens has been in area for several years and their quality of food and customer service is top notch. Id recommend the BBQ ribs or the whiting fish plates. The pound cake is divine as well.

Local home cooking. Great food. I had fried catfish filet, cabbage, green beans, cornbread, and cucumber salad. Tea is only a $1.25.. Tea never got empty. All the Patrons knew each other . very friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Good jazz music in background. Meal and $3.00 tip $14.50.

Sweet people ! Amazing macaroni and cheese best from a restaurant that I have eaten. And I love mac and cheese. The catfish is SO GOOD! The veggies are homemade and seasoned like my Meemaw use to make. If you havent eaten here you are missing out.

Food great! customer service not so much....I was asking the gentleman at the counter a question he mumbled something n turned around and start talking to the staff I said excuse me to let the gentleman know that I didnt hear what he said and he kept talking to the staff as if I wasnt standing there 🤦🤷🤨

Didnt enjoy my food. Okra was not fresh. Mac n cheese wasnt good. The season and cornmeal on the catfish wasnt good. CATFISH WAS SOFT IN THE MIDDLE. WASTED 20$

Fish was the bomb, no mustard, no hot sauce, just bomb azz fish. i will be going back. Great service, nice atmosphere, good music. Everyone should know about this place. Yes, it could use a few things but, the people working are awesome, all the way around.

This Diner is absolutely wonderful! The staff is very helpful and kind and the food is On Point! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and very nice on the eye! Try it and I guarantee you will love it as we do!

The food is awesome but the lack of service is horrible,. They let me place a order drive 20 mins to pick it up and when I get there I tell them I’m here for a pick up tell them my name and the kid comes back and says I’m sorry but we are out of turkey and dressing the level of my attitude I just walked out like they didn’t want to tell me that on the phone before I got all the way there! I will not be back that was just it for me!

Its always great to eat some good home cooked meals.. Its a family business and Ive been going to HAVENS for years,. The Whitening fish is great, my son and grandson loves the ribs and chicken, the greens are also great.. GO TRY THEM OUT ON HWY 58, pass Zaxbys on the left before the car wash... 😇😍
