Im obsessed with this store. I love grocery shopping and even though this place is a little expensive the ambiance is amazing. Its dimly lit and they place nice music. Good variety of items. I love going just to go.

My favorite grocery store in town due to their high quality produce, cheese, fish, meat and poultry products, and the knowledge of their staff. My favorite, however, is their bread. Its the closest to what I think good bread should be, the most like whats available at the best bakeries in New York. I wish we had a Fresh Market in Hixson.

Tomahawk Steaks for the first time on Super Bowl Sunday without any football, but the best steaks Ive ever cooked. Taste was awesome and the price was very good.

I really like shopping at the fresh market. The fresh market is very organized clean and spacious.The produce section has plenty of beautiful organic vegetables to chose from.on Tuesday the meat department has turkey, pork, ground beef on specials .wrap the meat in brown paper you get to ask how many pounds you want lots of organic meat.the bakery has gluten free choices you dont have to buy a whole pie fresh market also sale pies in halves also. You can buy ready to eat Foods at the deli; Fresh Soups of your choice. I recommend you shopping at fresh market its really nice shopping there; the lighting at fresh market has a very calming effect not rushing you really take your time and enjoy.

Pricey food but it’s all very good quality. I recommend shopping for meats and wines here.

Only place to get some good coffee beans in bulk and about 20 different varieties.

Love Fresh Market. We get Tuna steaks ... really good. Many of the sweets from the bakery are fabulous. The Parmasan is real and that makes a big difference in flavor. They have many items that are not carried other grocery stores.

Very neat and orderly store. Went there to purchase precooked meals and ready to cook meals. Got both types at great prices. The take home already cooked (2 meals) was more than enough for two (well make another meal with leftovers). And the ready to cook was just $20 and enough for four!

Fresh Market is a boutique grocery store. If thats what youre looking for, its perfect. There are beautiful cards, flowers and gifts available. Nice coffee and wine. Produce is high-quality. Niche items available for people with food allergies (me). Deli offerings and meat counter are excellent.

An excellent place to shop for regular and gluten free food. Produce offers a wide variety of fresh vegetables and fruit. Some items are already prepped and ready for the grill.

Great customer service. My thanks to Payton she was friendly and extremely helpful. Keep up the good work.

Always a great experience. Quality is superb. People are very helpful and very customer focused. My only complaint is price - but when you have premium products and lots of friendly staff the prices have to be a little higher to cover those costs and still be profitable.

Love shopping for the coffee here whenever I visit my family. Worked out perfectly that the coffee just happened to be bogo when we arrived. Even better!!

Love this place!!! First time in town and visiting this place, I was surprised at the collection they had in veggies, meats & fish. I love how fresh everything is and how nice people have treated me when I was shopping here. Definitely will come back

Ace and Quartez were THE NICEST employees (at the Fresh Market off of Shallowford Road in Chattanooga, TN). When I entered the store, Quartez was EXTREMELY kind and welcoming! I immediately knew he “wanted my money!” When getting meat at the meat counter, Ace was so incredibly nice and helped me get exactly what I needed. These employees need to be recognized for their incredible attitudes!

Only place I buy my meat from. Love their deli. Only complaint is the people in the deli are a little rude. They ignore you while you stand there and wait for them to wait on you.

Amazing selection of meats and cheeses, items you cant find in a standard grocery store and the staff is usually very friendly. LOVE that they offer fresh coffee beans for grinding at home! If you need flowers, get them here... Beautiful and well taken care of prior to you taking home.

I cant afford to come here often but when I do I love it. Usually I come for the cakes but also the pimento cheese and fresh breads that the bakery slices for me. They have great meal plans that usually feed 4 when you want a home made meal without cooking. Quality ingredients for special meals and parties.

If you want excellent customer service when it comes to purchasing the right flowers, ask for Shaila. She is amazing, always goes the extra mile to make sure my flowers are beautiful.

Very good market there meat is excellany

It was great. Got a Rosemary Chicken dinner to go. Whole roasted chicken. Cornbread mashed potatoes and awesome greenbeans with bacon and onions. The bakery never disappoints. Bought two Canoli and a chocolate eclair. Their selection of produce is better than any other chain.

Everything about this store is incredible. I love the ambiance with the low lighting, smell of coffee, and soft music. The produce and meat are so fresh. When Im cooking fancy foods, I know I can go here and theyll have the ingredient I need. On this particular trip we bought brats for the grill. They were so good!

My first trip to the Chattanooga Fresh Market was wonderful! Employees in masks and other customers were masked and appropriately distancing. The two people at the meat counter were extremely helpful and the lamb chops were fresh and amazingly tender after seasoned and grilled. I also appreciated the fresh produce and loved the selection of flowers. Bought the Kalamata olive bread from the bakery which was delicious! The checkout team was helpful and everything was packed well. Looking forward to shopping again next week!

It was a great experience, they had a lot of Paçzkis to choose from for Fat Tuesday. The were really good as well.

We love the convenience and variety of some great foods. Prices are very decent and having a family member with food allergies, they have been a great find to help us get items that most main stores do not carry.

I was so happy that they had the apples that a lot of places didnt even know existed. The store is so clean and filled with so much food that I wanted lol its definitely a great place to shop

Great place for speciality gourmet items to spice up your meals. The bulk candy is the closest thing Ive found to an oldfasion candy store. Try it and on a cool day dont forget a coffee sample while you browse.

I absolutely love this place. Everything was fresh, the Isles were in order and not overcrowded, and the workers were very happy to help you out or walk you to an item that you were looking for. I will be back!

In earlier months to years I bought the real French made cream cheese twisted BRIOCHE bread. Then they stopped importing and made their own which did injustice to the original brand. Then We slacked off trips to Fresh Market because of that change. I greatly miss the original French brioche bread!!

Helpful employees, excellent produce (especially apples!)and baked goods, and the only good selection of imported cheeses Ive found in the area. Much nicer place to shop than any of the local supermarkets.

I usually love my shopping experience here, but today that wasn’t the case. Matthew in the Meat Department was sooo unbelievable unprofessional and rude to me. Snapped at me for asking about an item. He needs to learn how to speak to people, or just don’t speak at all.

This is by far the best place for healthy food choices in Chattanooga. The butcher selection is phenomenal. Way better prices than Whole Foods.

Watch for whole beef tenderloin on sale.They have the grass fed beef on sale occasionally for 4 or $5 per lb. off. This meat is always lean and tender.

Always top notch products. Always top choice meats. Expect a premium price to match. You get what you pay for.

Visited Fresh Market today for steaks. I love Fresh Market and the fresh selections they offer. But the last two times I visited I went in specifically for steaks and the last two times they were extremely RUDE! They seemed bothered by any questions. I thought the first guy was just having a bad day, which we all do. Ill be taking my business to a real meat market, Im sure theyll be happy to answer my questions and take my money!

They are pretty pricey but there are a lot of good deals daily if you just look. I especially like there Meat and seafood department and that is mostly what I buy from there. They also have excellent coffee and a wide selection of nuts and seeds. Worth the trip.

Fresh Market is awesome! The meats are of high quality and reasonably priced. The $20 meal for 4 (little big meal) was fantastic. Choose your protein, add your favorite sauce, freshly prepped veggie kit, and round out your meal with a fresh side. It was fajitas the day I went so I picked sirloin steak over the chicken. (The guacamole was so tasty!) I highly recommend.

Their quality has gone down. I used to love going, not so much anymore

The variety is not matched in this market. That being said, the turnover of the deli items is a bit sluggish, and maybe related to the current pandemic condition.

This store has the prettiest flowers, especially Gerber daisy ones, and it’s so cool you can get gift baskets made here too! It also has halloumi Greek cheese that is sooo good! Hoping they will get Armenian string cheese like a lot of other locations have in stock. I also love the English Tea Co Crackers! The belvoir fruit farms drinks are awesome! Also they have the coolest almond milk coffees! Love the honey mama bars too, but would love to see the cardamom flavor or orange tahini flavor at this location. Love the organic products and eccentric things you can’t get anywhere else! I would definitely recommend shopping here!💚

I like this store but stay away from the serve yourself dry goods bins like the nuts etc. Bought some Chili Limon Pistachios and when I got home I found several live maggots inside the bag. I almost ate one. Went back to speak to the manger on duty at the time and she showed no concern what so ever. This happened at the Chattanooga store. (see photo)

This place has fresh groceries, produce, candies, coffees, teas, meats and baked goods, to go with the large variety of drinks they gave. Prices are not inexpensive, but brands are different and they have fresh sushi. The store is neet and clean, and in a good location. Try it, you will like it.

Love their floral department - beautiful flower arrangements at reasonable prices. Enjoy their $7.99 bistro meal with one entree and two sides. Staff are super helpful and friendly.

Clean and always fun to ship there but they didnt have whole brussel sprouts or some seafood that they used to carry so I left empty handed.

The prices are a bit high. But the quality of products they carry are worth it. I love getting my meat and fresh produce there. Its the best.

Every time that I go to the Fresh Market I want to buy some of everything. It looks so good. I especially like the choc chip banana bread.

This place has a great sushi chef. The butcher is knowledgeable with great products. Their Kitchen Sink Cookies in the bakery are the BEST! There is a huge selection of coffees and the produce is always beautiful. I keep an eye on their specials in the bakery and will take home something extra nice on occasion. Its never cheap...but its usually a good value when I do.
