This man is amazing. I called and he answered right away and told me to come down. As soon as I pulled up, he was very pleasant and helped is right away. In and out in 20 minutes and the price is unbeatable. Highly recommend to any and all bike owners. I wish I could rate him higher.

Gary the owner and the only employee is working out of the Basement of a house he lives in as well. he was working on a mini--bike as I approached him with my problem with my bike. a light weight 10 speed mountain bike. That has a flat tire in the rear of course. I spoke with Gary who had just finished working on the Mini- bike there for a young man standing by while he was working in the Mini-bike was his child and Gary could sense that, when he told the youngster go home and look for a part that was missing from the forward wheel assembly. He told him that he had improvised a temporary part he would be SAFE with the temporary part for only a few days. He turned to me and asked me very nicely what was my problem. I pointed to my bike and told him I had a flat on the rear tire. also told him that I thought it was the Valve. I gave him my business card ran my errands and returned to seeing my bike rear tire repaired and a big smile on Garys face as walked up to him. What happened next was a pleasant surprise for this Retired Navy LCDR. I was getting a brief on the condition of my bike just like I would get in the Navy but the difference was this briefer had long dreadlocks !he told me there was a hole in the bas of the valve which required a new inner tube which he replaced. He also told me that my first gear was not functioning properly and recommended that I being it back Tomorrow and he would fix it first thing in the morning. Thats exactly what I am going to do first thing in the morning. Bring my bike to a good bicycle repairman in Chelsea!

Gary is great! Hes very personable and responsive. He trued my road bike wheel for me at a good price and had it done very quickly.

Gary is a very nice guy. He fixed my electric bike every time I had an issue with it. He has the patience of an Angel. He fixed my rear spokes (almost all of them since they broke) he looked at my brakes, and checked the wheels for balance. I always left there knowing that my bike was in good hands was fixed with care. I couldn’t ask for a better bike repair person. Gary treats you like family.

I went to Wildcat Bike Repair to have a bike assembled. This shop is a mecca for anyone who wants their bike assembled or repaired properly and to be treated courteously and fairly! Gary is a perfectionist and clearly cares about his work and his customers. He has a strong following and while I was there, several people, including young kids stopped by to have their bikes repaired. It was really refreshing to meet someone so dedicated to his craft and his community!

Amazing service! I recently bought a bike that had a minor issue with the rear derailleur. Instead of upselling me, Gary offered an easy solution free of charge. Its clear that Gary is incredibly knowledgable and passionate about his work. Ill definitely be going back to Wildcat for any future tune ups and repairs!

The owner is a great guy, I enjoyed speaking with him.He was able to fix part of the problem with my bikes drivetrain (a worn front chain-ring), but didnt have the tools to fix everything. In lieu of a full repair, he made an adjustment to my bikes worn bottom bracket to make it more ride-able and charged for the labor. Unfortunately, the adjustment wore off two weeks after the repair and I wasnt able to get that portion of the work refunded. I am going to take my bike to a nearby shop to get the bottom bracket replaced, as well as my rear cassette and chain.All in all, I paid $80 to have my front chain-ring replaced and my bottom bracket temporarily adjusted. I am upset about not being able to have the adjustment refunded, but I think the price of repairs is reasonable for things that he has tools for.

I got an electric scooter as an early Xmas gift. But I sucked at assembling the scooter together. I put a couple of screws in incorrectly and almost stripped one of the screws. The closest bike repair shop from my place I found was the Wildcat Bike Repair shop. While not exactly a bike, I figured a bike shop would have the staff with the expertise and tools to help me install the electric scooter correctly. I stopped by the bike shop on a Sunday morning. Gary was the person who assisted me in fixing my scooter. He was very friendly and really knowledgeable about bikes and the like. He also has a cute kitty named Sonny, who was very adorable. He helped me install the scooter correctly and readjusted my brake with such ease and skill. The process took maybe 10 minutes. Viola! My electric scooter came alive! I was very pleased with the service and repair! I highly recommend anyone with any bikes or the like needing repairs to check out this place! :)

Very happy with my first experience at Wildcat Bike Repair. I took my Trek road bike in after the shifting cable for the front derailleur broke off inside of the Shimano shifter housing.I hadnt been planning to fix it until spring, but it was an unexpectedly beautiful Saturday in November, so I had the itch to go all out on a long ride (meaning I wanted those higher gears). Not wanting to risk losing the day by trying to do the job myself, I stopped by Wildcat and Gary was able to have me back on the road in no time. If youre wondering, yes my ride after was as fantastic as Id hoped.Gary is clearly very skilled and passionate in his work with bikes and added that extra touch to the end result by letting me pick the color for the cable end cap.

I blew a tire out while in East Boston. After I walked the bike to Wildcat, he took care of me right away and got me back on the road even though he had to cannibalize a tube from another bike. Thanks! Oh, and the number is a cell, and he responded to texts within a few minutes twice, and right away when he knew I was out front.
