Best grocery store ever. Affordable. The aisles are extra wide. Prepared food is amazing. This is the only place during COVID that I can find the flavors of cat food that I need (I posted a picture of the cat food aisle.... my fellow cat owners will understand). Employees are really helpful. I like this store much more than Stop and Shop.

Wow, Ive never been to a Market Basket before, they dont have these in New Mexico where I live. I wish they did! Such a clean store, very friendly and helpful employees, and what an amazing array of produce, deli, and meats! They have everything! On top of that a long line of checkout stands and they were all open. No long lines! Great shopping. Thank you!

I live in South Boston & will travel the extra 15-20mins simply because Market Basket ALWAYS has A GREAT VARIETY OF Pastries, Produce & anytime I need something the Stop & Shop or Star Market dont have or carry Market Basket not only has it but plenty of it... The Cook staff making the subs, 🍔 & other ready to order food are very good and care about putting out a HIGH Quality Product & Customer Satisfaction is Top Priority⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I usually go in for 2-3 items and buy with 2x what I go in for because so much is at eye sight - Managers & Staff do a Great Job of Product Placement & keeping the shelves Stocked👍👍

I love this market basket but the customer service is the worst, today a guy was trying to order a sandwich he was first in the line, he didn’t grab a number. The girl up front refused to serve him. So he left without getting anything. What kind of customer service is this. Especially to an elderly customer. Shame on you guys

Poor customer service and very poor maintenance on lighting shelves being put on, the store needs to double make sure things don’t fall on customers especially kids because it’s a very bad look on their part . It fell on my child and I am very not happy about this, that shouldn’t even had happen at all.

Need I say more, this place is the best place to shop for your food and also the service is awesome when you need help.

Such a convenient place to go because of how close it is to my house, but you need to do something about the “taxi” drivers with no medallions harassing people. Imagine an elderly person or somebody who doesn’t know about this scheme getting hurt on your property? I was asked at least 8 times if I needed a taxi in a non-taxi car!

OMG, This Market Basket is BEAUTIFUL! It is MASSIVE! Their produce looks so fresh.The meats look so fresh and they have EVERYTHING!

Good affordable place to get most of the groceries. I dont recommend you to go there after 30min of closing time. They all are busy to close the shop.

Notes: *SALMONELLA* + *COVID*I like this place a lot! BUT recently, the BAGGING is not good. Theres nothing wrong for any business to call time-out, to give their employees a refresher course. Whats the purpose of having it bagged, if I have to do it over again myself. Please please please.. STOP putting raw chicken, raw ground turkey or any raw meats in the same bag with the deli meats or veggies. Or raw chicken and fish together. I know its busy in there.. but whats new, its always busy, so you cant use that excuse anymore. Just bagging in general, I know theres a proper way (that comes with training) and theres a wrong way (currently being done).Also, were still in the middle of COVID-19....please dont let disinfectant wipes used to wipe the shopping carts run out at the entrance.... ever. Management needs to be on top of that - yes, that mean having a manager fill it, even if its not your job. None of us want a shutdown due to something that can be easily resolved.I hate having to type this, because I understand everyone is trying thier best, but common sense should be considered all the time.Thank you

Market Basket is the friend your pocket wants. Its one of the cheapest supermarket franchise and most products have a decent/good quality. If you are like me, who likes to shop at least twice a week, go for organic products, their are really good and cheaper than other supermarket chains.

Excellent selection of just about everything. Not much waiting. You might find it a bit crowded at certain times although it is a huge store. There are about 40 (FORTY) checkout lines. The prices are hard to beat. This is the flagship store for the entire Market Basket chain.

Got all the groceries I needed at an affordable price.

Whats not to like,it literally has everything, yes it could have better pizza, but aside from that,the sushi is amazing, my location has a cafe, needs some upgrading in terms of whats offered on the menu, coffee needs upgrades as well,I know I said whats not to like, Im just making some suggestions..But seriously love my Market Basket..Oh and dont forget the flowers....

Love it because I can find all my Caribbean stuffs there. Employees are cleaned and friendly. Foods are cheap so anybody can grocery shopping there with no price worries.

Usually has a great selection for everything! The only downside is it gets REALLY crowded and it makes me nervous because people dont stand 6 feet apart from each other and sometimes their shelf had moldy bread (we caught it before we bought if, whew!) But the staff here are really nice and patient with everyone. We had a lady who had a buttload of coupons she decided to use which took a few phone calls, a manager, and a override in their system. (We waited about 30 minutes at the cash register with our food and perishables ready) and the staff apologized later to us and were super friendly! Great place to shop but it gets super busy!!

A newish Market Basket to the area. Huge and a lot of products in stock. Its not quite in the center of the city but Chelsea isnt too big so its not a far drive or walk from anywhere. Definitely better than the Stop & Shop down the road.

Best supermarket in the area! Great pricing, large selection, quality meats and produce, and helpful staff. Even peak hours are manageable with the large aisles and plentiful of open registers. And the pre-made meals and sandwiches, sushi, food buffet and ready to order hot sandwiches and subs are a great.

They have great prices, long lines during the day because its lit.

This is one of my favorite grocery stores. It is a busy place and it is well staffed. They have lost of verity of products. Their produce section is displayed beautifully. They have a huge verity of seafood and ethnic food that is hard to find in other stores.

Produce was nice; grapes were big seedless and not small; nice onion selections, nice & big; green peppers felt like they had just been rinsed they were so clean & wet from being rinsed; and when I got to the front I must have been blessed to have the nicest and most pleasant Cashier in the store.

If you start at the darien and work your way to the produce youll have a better experience thats what I do and Im headed out

The store really has better direction labels to try keep people distance from one another while shopping and store has well amount of groceries to choose from.

It is a good place to go shopping There is five of us in my family I go there I save a lot of money the people are nice get in there and get it out its busy sometimes but what grocery store isnt I give it a five-star

The Market Basket in Chelsea is the biggest and busiest in Massachusetts. Fortunately they also have the biggest parking lot in Massachusetts. They carry just about every food-related product you could think of. The store is always well-stocked and clean. Plus, most of the employees are bilingual. Finally, it is conveniently located near TJ MAXX and STARBUCKS!

Love them, you can find anything you will want.

Definitely better than the one from Somerville and way bigger and lots of parking.

I love Market Basket stores, this one is pretty good. Assortment of goods is very good. Produce, dairy, meat, fish and ethnic foods? You cant ask for better. Place is clean, well lit, orderly, they have an in store cafe and the public restrooms are pretty good. But its the staff that is a mixed bag at this store; many are extremely friendly and helpful, but then theres this weird smattering of slackers and thug dudes. Yeah I know its Chelsea, but still, cant you leave your attitude at the door when youre on the clock?

I’ve seen hella people walking around without their masks, i feel like workers should maybe put more effort into making sure people have it on. there’s workers in every aisle so it shouldn’t be a problem.

Market basket in East Boston is very big, and very spacious, and lots of parking space. Very well worth place to go shopping for food.

I love this market. They always cheaper than other markets, even Asians market. Even though they do not have much Asian food, but they still have some of what I need. Fruit in here always fresh, and they have many delicious fast food.

Social distancing signs are placed, sanitizing wipes at the door as soon as you walk in theres a big metal container, theres spray and paper towels in the window. Many of the customers dont follow the rulesBut I think its just because of a language barrier. Staff are extremely helpful thats what the five stars are for. Had everything in stock that I needed. Even though it was crowded they had plenty of carts. I went early in the morning so it wasnt as busy. I had no complaints, I got to the register didnt have to wait long, the person behind me didnt wait to my belt was clear to load their stuff but I just kept my distance.
