Great locally owned outlet. Easy access and plenty of parking. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Have bought a number of items here over the years, as well as the parts to keep them going.

We bought a new washer and dryer a couple years ago. We were going to buy the least expensive, but Im talking with the store owner, we decided to go a step up. Im still very pleased with both appliances and absolutely love the washtub without an agitator. Our clothes always come out clean, even with a messy 4 year old in the house. Iove the energy efficient feature with the water level sensor also! I will buy from this store again!

Friendly people and great service. I particularly appreciate that I can go pick up an appliance there when I want one, and not have to make an appointment for delivery like virtually every other place that sells appliances. Although I understand that they will deliver too.

Terrible attitude to customers. I tried to return the goods (in my experience it was a deal on 5 minutes in other Sears stores) but here the employee did not even listen to me, saying that I should call to customer service. Maybe a piece of paper if you have questions, call to customer service will work just as well and without salary?

Absolutely horrible customer service. We were told when we purchased a lease to own that we would be paying a monthly charge and the final charge would come out in July. We are in November now and have been charged in total an extra 600 dollars for an appliance, and have been told that to stop the continued charges we have to make the final payment in person of an additional 200 dollars. We will have been charged a total of 1500 dollars for a 700 dollar snowthrower.We will never be using this company again and I sincerely hope they use the extra money they stole from us to hire better management. They run this store like a scam and mislead all customers when purchasing anything lease to own.

Staff was fine. The older lady didnt know anything. We leased out appliances and they told us that we only had to pay for 6 payments and we would be done. Well that wasnt the case. You pay for 6 months and then you have the option to continue to pay the lease or purchase the appliance for a discounted price or you can return the appliances. They failed to mention that when we went in. Very terrible company.

Its a small store, with a fairly specific supply of items. However, each item is good and well priced. It works well for what it is.

Just a heads up, if you buy anything from this store, you can only return it here also. I live in Spokane but had to drive to Cheney to get an item that the Spokane Stores were out of. As it turns out, the item had to be returned. So I took it to a Sears store in Spokane. They would not give me a return even after I had paid cash, I was told to take my merchandise back out to Cheney if I wanted a refund. Big Sears Stores will not refund you if you buy at a Hometown Store. Very inconvenient, I had to drive back out to Cheney to get my refund and they were not that cooperative about it. Just something you should know when buying from Hometown Stores. It probably would have been a nice gesture on the Cheney stores part to let customers know this.

4/2016 Store recommended Empire In-Home Appliance Repair for Kemore Elite Dishwasher. $398.93 later, dishwasher still not repaired. I have been in communication with the owner of this store and learned they no longer refer to Empire In-Home Appliance repair. I appreciate them reaching out to correct the record . Have bought 2 riding lawnmowers and other appliances through them.
