I cant say enough of this dealership, they had a car I was looking for after our car got rear ended. The car suv was ready in just three days. It was cleaned inside and out. The car looked great and brand new. It was a used 2021 with low mileage. A very big shout out to Francine who was a very big help to make all this happen. Thank you Richard Chevrolet for having a great team. Ill send all I know to your dealership. Ill be back to have all my maintenance done here.

I had such a wonderful experience at Richard Chevrolet! This was my first time buying a car and I didnt really know what to expect. After showing interest in one of the cars online, Richard Chevrolet reached out to me right away to help me set up an appointment for a test drive. Their vehicle specialist, Elissa, was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout all aspects of the process. She took the time to answer my questions and explained everything clearly. Elissa also helped me shop for insurance, which made the process so quick and stress-free. In addition, she showed me the apps that would helpful to use for my car, radio, financing, and insurance. I appreciated the fast service on a Saturday and replacing my battery the same day. However, the cost of labor for this was over $250, which is just too high. Next time I’m going elsewhere for this type of a repair. Also, no shuttle van was available to take me home and no loaners/rentals, so I had to take an Uber. You guys could do better, especially for the prices you are charging.

This is a terrible dealership. I bought a new truck from them and it included a free oil change, if done within a year.Well, Covid definitely kept the mileage down and I took advantage of the free oil change. The service person I dealt with was incredibly unpleasant and clearly conveyed to me the free oil change was free and put no money in his pocket. I would have to say he was actually crude and disrespectful.So I bought a remote starter kit for the truck which was supposed to require a $75 installation fee. My check out installation fee was about $100.I would NEVER recommend anyone use this stealership. They really are terrible.
What an amazing experience. I brought my truck in because the tailgate wouldnt open. Pete Sanford came out to help me. Diagnosed the issue in the drive and ordered the parts to fix it. He also went above and beyond by opening my tailgate for me so I could unload the stuff inside the bed!Pete has a genuine concern for his customers and it shows. Its a real pleasure going to Richard Chevy and having my vehiclesworked on because their service consultants are very knowledgeablewhen it comes to identifying the issues with my vehicle and explainingto me what their plan for repairing the issues will be. One of the reasons I keep going back to Richards is their employees like Sid Greatorex in the service department he is not only a service tech he was also a mechanic at Richards for many years so when I get him to manage my service repairs I can be rest assured that he will make all necessary repairs and in a timely manner. If Sid is not available they have several other long term employees in the service department like Carrie who is also very knowledgeable in identifying issues and having them repaired as needed.They also have the cleanest service facility I have ever seen and their customer waiting area is very comfortable.I felt it necessary to write this review after my most resent appointment at Richards were once again I went in they identified the problem with my vehicle and made the repairs without fail and Sid was there to explain the whole process to me while maintaining his as always friendly attitude and upbeat demeanor. I plan on going to Richard Chevy for as long as I have a vehicle and as long as they are open for business.

I went in reaching a little high for something new after a bankruptcy. I ended up leaving with an almost new equinox, that I could not be happier with. My 2017 Malibu was deemed a total loss due to damage from the storm we had a few weeks back. I was without a car and in the middle of a GAP claim. I needed help quick and through some research I came across Richard Chevrolet. I wanted another Malibu as i loved that car. Kaitlyn reached out to me in no time when I expressed interest. Richard Chevy has the best deal around on a new Malibu. Kaitlyn connected me with Bob and Dan in the finance department. Both men worked with me to not only get me a great deal but also put me in something that I was comfortable with financially. I explained my situation and they were attentive and helpful every step of the way. Dan even gave me some friendly advice as well which was super nice and caring. We were buying out our lease. We obtained financing on our own. We called the dealership and wife wife was given attitude about how we were buying the car from Richard Chevy. Not GM Financial. She was told we needed to come in to do it. Then I called and was told the same thing. I then talked to another person in finance who reiterated that we needed to do a safety inspection, at our cost, to have them do the paperwork. Or we could do all the paperwork on our own. We were told by multiple people that if we did that GM Financial would cancel the registration without telling us. So we paid for the inspection. Went into the finance department. Sat through their extended warranty sales pitch. Spent a few hours of our time and money on this, for them to turn down the check from our bank. Stating that they are selling the car, so the check needs to be made out to them, not GM Financial. It would be too much work for them to have the check signed by GM. They wasted my time, and, as far as Im concerned, conned us out of money.Follow up, Refund check received today. The owner was very nice and apologetic on the phone. It is still unfortunate that they would not accept the check and process the paperwork. However, I am happy that they did take the time to investigate and contact me. I was at work when they called and couldnt answer the phone. I actually called back, when I had no reason to, and am glad that I did.
I have been searching for the perfect truck for 7 months, I am very picky and did not want to settle. Francine listened to me and helped me find exactly what I wanted. Very convenient to drive into service receiving area, leave keys and check in with the service rep. Dropped my Silverado off for an oil change and tire rotation. My wife and I took a walk on the Farmington Heritage Canal Trail, returned and hour or so later and the truck was ready for us. Always prompt and courteous service.

You guys sure do have a LOT of bad reviews. Looking for a new vehicle and thought I would check in and take a look at reviews. Bought my son a used car from this place several years back. On the test drive there was a thumping in the front end. Was told they would fix whatever the problem was. When we picked up the car and got on 84 to come home that thumping was still there and very bad at highway speeds. We were told the mechanic checked it out and found nothing wrong. The next day I went to a tire shop and they found a badly bent rim in the front. They hammered it back in place and balanced the tires and the problem was gone. What kind of mechanic cant find this problem? My son went back a few weeks later because they only gave us one key and owed us one.When the salesman saw him coming he was all smiles until he told him what he was there for and the guy told him to come back another day, because that guy wasnt here today. My son was totally turned off by the immediate change in attitude. The bottom line, is that you dont get a second chance to make a first impression, and Ill be buying my new car some place else. Nothing has changed here apparently.
Everyone, beginning with the person who answered the phone before we went to Cheshire, was very professional and knowledgeable, ready to help and answer questions. The one price policy made buying a new car a much less strenuous process than it usually is. Jeff, our salesman, was extremely patient and willing to help, and Kevin made going through the paperwork signing process stress-free, answering every question we had.
I have come to your dealership in the past with my GM sports cars for miscellaneous things and oil changes since it’s close to my work and easy access. I was a little disappointed, probably partially my fault, since the price of my oil change was $162 total and advertised on website was $99 plus tax, so why so much? Plus they told me when I checked out that they found a problem with my right rear shock. Mentioned it was leaking and needs repair. I asked a couple questions about the shocks and completely ignored the price of service and failed to mention it since I was more concerned about the shocks. I didn’t see under the car nor was it explained what the result would be to continue driving or how I didn’t notice myself since it drives the same and I didn’t see any leaks. I also asked about the warranty, which I have, and service technician wasn’t complete sure it was covered. Needless to say, I’m not as comfortable with my experience this time as I have been in the past.

Ive purchased 4 vehicles for my company here and had them all serviced here. The last two experiences with the business manager have been not good then horrible respectively. The service department has consistently been sub par missing basic items like functioning door locks and lights prior to sale and during requested service. This most recent time really caused issues for me and expenses. I had $3200 worth of work (mostly maintenance stuff and some, like the brakes, werent a necessity at this time). The radiator replacement failed because they forgot to reinstall a hose clamp. The vehicle overheated on the side of the road with fluid everywhere the first day we had it back. They fixed and towed it for free but we lost half a days work and time will tell what kind of damage/wear was caused to the engine. Then it smelled like brakes when the tech came back the first day of use after that issue. Sent it out again the next time we needed it and had to pull it off the road immediately because the brakes (new pads and rotors) were smoking causing a further loss of work. Apparently a caliper was seized and this cost me another $600. Keep in mind I had no issues or complaints about the brakes when I sent it in initially. The free inspection noted they were getting low and could be changed but was not needed. I figured it was there and I might as well just get it done and not worry. They changed the pads and rotors and lubed the caliper hardware. All of a sudden and instantly after that service the caliper failed??? Seems to me the job was done poorly like the radiator and its likely the boot of the caliper was damaged by the tech. At the very least the labor to replace the caliper should have been mitigated by the fact I just paid them to do most of the same labor to change the pads and rotors, which interestingly enough was $200 cheaper. I find it unfathomable that I had zero issues with these components and then immediately needed to get them replaced once they touched them costing me over $1100 for pads, rotors and a caliper. This is unacceptable and theyve lost a pretty good customer.

I brought my Lease vehicle in for a final inspection prior to purchasing it. After my “inspection” I was told I needed front window wipers. These window wipers are only three weeks old. They definitely tried to sell me something I didn’t need. That’s not what I expected of Richard Chevy after having purchased or leased many cars over the past 20 years. I don’t expect to buy any more cars there.

I trusted him and he helped guide me through the buying process of trading in my son’s car, getting my car registered, insured and with new plates. The process was very smooth.Angel, was, also very helpful in the financial end of getting all the paperwork together, explaining my options of coverage from bumper to bumper without pressuring me to buy more than I needed.They were both experienced and knowledgeable and there to help answer any questions that I had, even after I bought my Equinox. I was in the market for a new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe and I found one on the internet being delivered to Richard Chevrolet.I called and they connected me to Elissa and she was very helpful and we we negotiated a good deal and she took a deposit and informed the vehicle would be delivered in two weeks.The vehicle came was delivered in two weeks and they installed the accessories and we came to pick up the vehicle four days later.I received a call from Andrew the manager Andrew and he informed there was a problem with one of the discounts and he said he would work it out and he did and the vehicle was a little bit cheaper.Angel in finance did a great job going over everything.Elissa did a great job on delivery to us.

We went into this dealer to test drive a used Traverse and came out with a brand new one for just as good as a deal! Matt was our sales man and he was so great and never pressured us to look into a better car we just so happened to look into the new ones and went with that. But, I was so happy to have never felt pressured to make a certain pressure. He was very helpful through out the whole process and even gave us like 6 different quotes to see what fit in our budget best! The manager was also so much help and very pleasant to work with! I did not write an initial review because it was a mixed visit. 3 stars in my opinion was fair for my experience that day.In response to your statements... you immediately assumed the reason for the 3 stars was solely based on the condition of the vehicle. Making assumptions is not a good practice.Second - you noted your program... great I understand that however... you took this vehicle in on trade - it was evaluated in order to give your customer a trade value. You cant honestly say you havent inspected them as you state in your response.Third - you make notes on how your wholesale value works. This vehicle was actually low mileage for the year and priced above current FMV... Ive been in the market for some time and well aware of values. Things didnt add up well on this vehicle at all.These are only some of the reasons for my rating. Id be happy to discuss further if youd like which I also mentioned to my sales person as well whom was very pleasant.

I guess they did the work that was expected by replacing the defective part of the airbag system specific to the recall process but I would of like a better attention to all the parts of this safety visit, while trying to sell me other services I didn’t need, I still left the shop with a SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM light in my dash that was not investigated but they had time to do an inspection and recommend other services not as concerning as a non working/faulty airbag system, I was very happy with your services till this time, (I travel from NYC to bring my vehicle to you for a free service recall I could have gotten done anywhere because of the positive previous experience)When all the technician had to do, was to tell me they needed more time to investigate the problem, that being a sensor or bad connection etc. I was willing to pay for it but at the end of the day the safety issue was not fixed even tho the part was replaced as per request and I’m sure they did a wonderful job.
Recent purchase of a Chevrolet Colorado. Walked in no appointment and was warmly greeted by the receptionist and her trainee. Waited a few minutes and a sales person, Steve was assigned. I explained what I was looking for and test drove the truck. Sat down, discussed numbers and the great incentives that they were running. The purchase process was flawless with Angel in Finance. In at 930, out same day with the new Colorado. Steve went the extra mile explaining it all. Highly recommended dealer for “built Chevy tough” vehicles.

I had to have my car repaired due to an accident. although the experience of the accident was upsetting to me Tony from the rental dept was great he put me at ease. Frank at the Collision Dept was also great he said dont worry we will take care of everything which they did. I did have an electrical problem when I got the car back called Frank and he was going to get me another rental and tow the car. now everything is perfect and these guys are the greatest.. i think they deserve a raise.
Fast. Correct. Excellent service. Thorough inspection. Went in for airbag recall inspection revealed a few other issue that need to be address. I will be returning to them. Highly recommended.

First time GM buyer here and all I have to say is that this has been one of the easiest car buying experiences I’ve had in a long time. I saw the ad online for the truck I was interested in and was impressed at the quality of the ad and pictures on the website, let alone the great price for the truck. I went to the lot and the truck was in front easy to find and very clean, not tucked away in the back all dirty like in some dealers. I called and the amazing salesman Bob Dreier answered the call and in no time set me up for a test drive, Eval for my trade and with the help with the manager gave me some ballpark numbers. At first I was skeptical about being able to afford the truck and with no so perfect credit I was worried about walking away with nothing, long story short Bob and his team got me to a comfortable monthly payment that I was happy with and I now drive a beautiful GMC Canyon. Bob was honest about the truck and notified me of the recall it had and they took care of it immediately, truck was inspected top to bottom as well as a detail and even a nearly full tank put in it. Bob was kind and patient enough to help set up my ONSTAR and MYGMC app, he showed me the many features GM put into the truck and I can’t be more happy with the vehicle and service from Richard Chevy.
