This was by far the best experience i have ever had in a retail establishment!!As soon as i walked in, Brandy greeted me with a warm hello and immediately felt comfortable.She was so helpful with the purchase and transfer of my information from my old phone.I was having trouble syncing my phone to the car and she walked me through the process and it was a success!!I will definitely be frequenting this location in the future!!!!Connie C

Every experience at Russell Cellular is uplifting, positive and memorable!! Whether I’m there for a phone or accessory purchase, or even more importantly, a technical question about my or any of my family members’ phones, everyone is always readily available to help out, answer questions, and rectify any situation that has arisen. You leave there with your problem solved, or a follow up plan to resolve the issue quickly! Another great feature of the staff at Russell cellular is the fact that if I have any question about my phone and I’m not able to get to the store during store hours or I am out of state, just a quick phone call to Russell gets me quick and efficient customer service help where many of my issues have been solved just by talking on the phone to one of the staff there!A big thank you and shout out to the current staff there, (in alphabetical order because they’re all awesome and I don’t want to list anyone first because everyone has played a role in resolving issues and purchases very recently!:) Brandy, Greg, Kevin, Rodrick!! You rock!

Watch when you sign up and get a new phone. Make sure to look at agreement completely yiu will not be asked if you want to pay $17 a month for extra insurance she will just put it on. Be careful. Won’t be there again!

Kevin was very helpful and did not try to upsell me on any other products besides the ones I needed. He explained how my billing would work with my new phone and even told me that I may be eligible for a discount. He was the only employee in the store and I watched him work with elderly customers with a great amount of patience and understanding. It was the easiest trip to a Verizon vendor that I have ever experienced.

Terrible service! My husband came home with new phone that had nothing but his contacts on it.They gave him some lame excuse about not having equipment to transfer his photos and told him to go to CVS! No emails, no Apps....nothing! I sent him back and still no satisfaction....Went to Verizon in Wallingford and Terrance there couldnt believe what we experienced.He said sounds like some one there just didnt want to be bothered! It did take an hour but he was able to transfer pics, get the email and everything else!We will NEVER go to Russell in Cheshire again and Brandy should be retrained at the very least.Thanks for nothing!

Exceptional and friendly environment from all staff within the store, brandy the store manager is very helpful with learning new products and services, as well as completely explaining every purchase as well as future charges if applicable. If I could give 10 stars I would without question. Everyone in that store is there to help you so you can get the best deal and are happy with your purchase even after you leave the store.

I am beyond grateful for the service both Brandy and Greg gave me over the past week. There was a “glitch” made somewhere when I signed up for my newphone, and instead of having me directly deal with Verizon, they both personally went above and beyond to deal with my situation. They were so professional, understanding and compassionate that I am beyond grateful they dealt with my account. I recently signed up for a small business account with them and with the service I received over the past week, I will forever be a customer of theirs! Greg had my interest in mind the minute I stepped in the store and sat down to discuss my waterlogged iPhone 6. We went through the note SE model offered suggestions for options well considering the most economical approach to having The service and accessories to optimize the use of my phone. Personable well-versed in the product computer savvy to untangle some of the apps I had that didn’t change over apps. Not Verizon’s issue or problem but he helped anyway that’s going above and beyond the expectations of a representative of Verizon thank you for the opportunity to express my appreciation for Greg.

Came into the store rather frustrated, as my phone was stolen, Brandy the store manager immediately greeted me at the door and started speaking to me as if we have known one another for years. Even gave both of my children lollipops. Her southern welcome created a friendly experience. A huge turn around from all previous visits to this store. I highly recommend seeing Brandy for anything you may need.

My wife had made a visit to the Cheshire store and came home rather unhappy. She was already dreading going to a phone store because it’s never easy. She was overwhelmed by the store manager, Brandy. Was pressured to buy many things that she did not need, as we do not want to pay more a month. She ended up leaving without having done what she needed. We ended up going to the southington store, I joined her this time to make sure she wasn’t being pressured to buy unnecessary devices. We had a wonderful visit there, the customer service was exceptional. It’s not too far! We miss ellery and his crew; they made us feel like family not just a sale.

I would TRAVEL large distances to come to this VERIZON store. Everyone is so knowledgeable, friendly and fast. They can solve any problem and speak to each customer at the customers technological level. The staff is amazing and the manager, Ellery Deprey, goes above and beyond. Best customer service ever.

Ill try to make this short. Ive never been with Verizon before because I could never afford their service. I had many problems with T Mobile, ATT and most recent Cricket. With Cricket i kept getting voicemails without phone ever ringing and calls didnt show up in call logs? I lost $600.00 in overtime because of that issue. Cricket blamed LG, LG blamed Cricket. I finally went to Verizon thinking i still couldnt afford them. I was greeted by German Mercado. Right off the bat i was impressed with how he handled me because i was still angry missing the OT. He took his time with me and didnt try to oversell me knowing i had limited finances. He convinced me to buy the Samsung A50. I was hesitant because my whole family had several issues with Samsungs top models over the past few years but trusted German. I got the phone home and immediately had major issues with the screen having very little touch sensitivity. I tried fixes I found online but after 2 days I called German, quite upset and explained the problems. He again calmed me down and met me at the store. It didnt take him long to find out what was causing the problem. He has good knowledge of their phones because no where anywhere in the manual, Verizon help line or the internet was the answer. So now Im very happy with a really good phone and only paying 80.00 per month for unlimited talk, text and data. Im immensely grateful for German helping me out professionally and calmly.John I.

The manager tried to tell me to ditch my unlimited data plan because Verizon would price me out of it. When I said Id go somewhere else, he insisted on coverage issues, literally telling me I should ditch my data and stick with Verizon, rather than make my own cost/value determination. In other words, he was extremely egotistical, less informed than I was on his own business, and rude. The only reason this is two stars instead of one is because he did help my father upgrade his phone, though Im not sure he subscribed to the best plan, because I didnt trust the guy selling it.

After purchasing a screen protector with a lifetime warranty, the screen cracked due to poor installation by a staff member at the store. I purchased the protector initially because the salesperson said we could just come back in and they would replace. They are not honoring their word or they misled me. To replace I would have to go through the supplier and pay $10 in shipping. The product was over $50!
