3:20 appt.-5 minutes late. I went inside & 2 people were working the front counter; 1 with a customer, 1 without. The 1 without too busy? so I wait while the other guy helps an elderly man for few minutes. I get called up by the guy who had been helping the other customer..I give my name & he says youll have to reschedule because we allow 10 minutes late & its now 3:29 and I havent even pulled your insurance info. I guess the 10 minute late includes time for them to do their job--so forget if you cant get there before your appt. Time! I explained to him that I only have my insurance through tomorrow at midnight because Im laid off after tomorrow... didnt seem to have an impact. Their loss-The insurance I have is the best!

If you are looking for an eye doctor’s office that truly cares about its patients this is the office for you. I have nothing but great things to say about the doctors in the office and their support staff that keeps the office running smoothly and organized. Dr. Capuano is an extremely passionate optometrist who provides ultimate care for you as a patient by listening, answering questions and providing professional treatment. Dr. Remillard also takes the time to provide the needed time to ensure you as a patient receive thorough care. I’ve had to go to the Cheshire office a few times now during COVID protocol due to a reoccurring eye issue. The office took all COVID 19 protocol serious. You know you’re in good hands with this office and I would highly recommend them.

I went to this office as a new patient that needed an exam, as I had not had one in years and finally had vision insurance. The exam was great, the doctor explained everything well, and I picked out frames that day. I paid for everything and left with the promise date of having my glasses of 2 weeks later (10 business days, Feb 11). February 11 came around, I had not heard anything, so near the end of the business day I called the office, the glasses were not in and I was told I would receive a call shortly that they should be in within a day or two. I waited the weekend and called the next Tuesday as I still had not heard anything. They said that my glasses had come in the shipment they had recieved that morning, they would do final inspections that day, I could pick them up the next day in the afternoon. I showed up to pick them up today in the afternoon, after taking the afternoon off of work just to come pick them up, the front door is locked. I call their number as it is still business hours for them and am asked if I recieved a text confirmation that they are ready? I stated that I spoke with an associate yesterday who told me they would be ready this afternoon, and was told they are short staffed but not to worry they would for sure be 100% done tomorrow, however they could not give me a time or anything to pick them up. Their answer was to wait for a text from them saying they were ready. Now I will need to take another few hours off ofwork to drive back out to the office, at least a week past the date that the eyewear was promised to me. I would not recommend coming to this location, with my experience just getting the glasses that I need.

My son needed an eye exam appointment in order to pass a physical for a new job. Cheshire Myeyedr was so accommodating in getting him a complete eye exam ASAP. Dr. Sylvan is a remarkable caring person and excellent optometrist who did a thorough eye exam, dilating as well as taking pictures of the back of the eye . He did end up needing a prescription, and our eyewear consultant was knowledgeable and helpful in picking out a quality fashionable pair of specs for my son. From the front desk staff who was so welcoming and found us an appointment and made sure all COVID protocols were followed, to the caring and kindness of the doctor to the helpfulness and thoroughness of the optical staff, we had an excellent experience all around at the Cheshire location.

The customer service of this eye clinic before MyEyeDr took over was horrible. Honestly, the staff and providers deserve to be fired forever. The doctor refused to listen and no one explained the policy to me. The doctor (female, black hair) literally grabbed me to throw me out of the exam room. All of what? They failed to explained to me that new contact lenses require 3 days of experience. I didnt have 3 days because I was moving out of the state the very next day. I sincerely hoped that the culture of this clinic has changed. I have been to many healthcare services, including eye and dental service. This by far is the most daring outrageous behavior out of a provider and staff. If anyone experience anything similar to this - then avoid that service. Any other service can be better.

Everything went well. Was told my glasses would be in within 2 weeks. 2 weeks past and did not hear back about my glasses. They need to start keeping there word or they’re going to start losing business.

Ordered two pairs or glasses.told glasses would be ready in 2 weeks and that they typically take 5-7 business days.Called at the two week mark and was told the glasses were ready for pickup and that their system said I was already called (no call or text received)Received text two hours later saying glasses were ready and drove to store. Was told only one pair was ready and that the other pair would be ready the next day, 2 days at the latest. Was told Id receive a phone call when ready.Two days passed, no phone call, still no glasses.Compared to LensCrafters where I went on my old insurance, quality of doctors visit is better but the quality and pricing of lenses and glasses lower and the wait is much much longer.

They charged me full price for my eye exam because the office said my insurance is not covered. My insurance told me it is covered and to tell them that. Unfortunately, they said no it wasn’t and wanted to charge me full price. Luckily one employee said I can go without paying. I will never come again.

I have been a customer here for 10 years. My last experience will be my last. I went in for my normal visit. Got new glasses. I found that the glasses were giving me headaches and making me nauseous. Went back in and found out they were never fitted to me correctly in the first place. The glasses were better. Still getting headaches. Went back to see the doctor to check the glasses. The doctor is standing outside my room and says “this is a waste of time” then comes into my room. Rushes me through appointment and says to see my regular dr. Poor customer service.

2 weeks to get glasses and still not ready. Call 3 times until they call me back. The glasses have no nose pads?....they broke the frame?... (This what they tell me after 2 weeks... Still waiting for glasses...
