10.03.21 I’ve been here a dozen times always dining in when in the area and it never disappoints. Today for breakfast, I was in the mood for something I’ve never had before with a salt kick to it. I ordered takeout the Farmers Omelet with white toast. It was good! Thank you!If you ever go here try the fresh baked bread and pumpkin pancakes! Or anything-it is all good. Food is great and the people are always nice.I Love this place!
Terrific homemade breakfast with amazing service. Our server, Nicole, was tremendous - attentive, professional, and friendly. Following safe Covid-19 protocol with server masking and safe distancing between tables. Such a cozy ambience, with made from scratch selections - blueberry pancakes and homemade bread are killer. Omelettes are huge and tasty with long list of choices. Wouldn’t guess it’s so good from outside - a local secret that you have to try. In the winter that have a cozy pellet stove burning. Would highly recommend!
Great vibe and small town charm. Food and service were excellent!
Small intimate restaurant that has the best breakfast especially their eggs Benedict...delicious! I have also had lunch there too ..awesome.
Went after the morning rush so there was no wait which was good. Waitstaff was friendly and knowledgable too. Portions were great. Homemade home fries looked amazing but lacked taste. However the grilled cheese on homemade bread was absolutely to die for. Literally one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches Ive had in years. Ladies room needed a good deep cleaning though. All in all I will be back.
Good food and service! Pumpkin pancakes tasted good and served a little crispy but not burnt. A lot of butter, though. Good coffee. I liked the atmosphere and how the restaurant was set up, including the small fireplace. Local handmade goods available. With the aches and pains I had that morning, I had a comfortable seat.I recommend a visit!
Amazing home made breads. Awesome breakfast.
Awesome food but waitress never gave me my second cup of coffee that I said yes to ..
This was the first time visiting the restaurant and it was awesome. The best part was of course the food. We were there for breakfast and I ordered the sour dough homemade bread which is like Texas toast about an 1 thick. My omelet was excellent and the service a first rate. Very relaxed atmosphere with a corner fireplace like an Olde English pub.
Nice old school restaurant with coffee and breakfast the way you make it at home. Nice original Tavern appearance and coversations galore.
Food is fantastic, I took my daughter there this morning. Had a great time, waitress was engaging. Hats off to the chef. I live in Derry. I support local businesses. I usually go to Maryannes Diner in Derry. I dont know they have competition. Food is HOT when they bring it out. Keep up the work.
We LOVE Olde Post!!! They staff there are so friendly and make you feel so welcomed!!! This is our favorite weekend breakfast spot!
Very good little breakfast spot with scratch made bread and a down home feel. Low key, friendly help staff that make you feel like youre at home. And the home fries were terrific!
This was my 2nd time coming here and the last time. The food was terrible, I ordered a breakfast sandwich and it was not edible. The english muffin was soaked and felt like a wet sponge, I tried to salvage it by removing the english muffin but it did not help, the sandwich had no flavor, McDonalds has a better sandwich for quarter of the price. My son got the waffles and as soon as it was brought out we almost started laughing, it was a waffle with 2 small slices of stick butter thrown in it, no whip cream and it looked sad. The bacon was nothing to write home about either, my wife loves bacon and didnt finish it due to the chewy texture.Service was ok and atmosphere is nice minus the loud TV playing MASH at the bar while the radio is playing also. Also the the price for 3 people was over $40 for a breakfast sandwich, half a waffle and an omelette. If the food was good its one thing but this was absurd. Its to bad, we dont live far but we will not be going here again.
Very good food, good prices wicked nice staff

I celebrated my graduation earlier this evening in this great place. I am glad to say that we had a pleasant evening and the venue was definitely the reason for the fruitful meeting. The crew helped in a very nice way, the food was very good and my buddies were extremely thrilled. We shall definitely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
The best. The food, the people, the atmosphere - just the best.
Had a delicious breakfast breakfast this morning! Fabulous service as well! Thank you Donna and staff!
Great food, great atmosphere
The food is consistently fresh and delightful, employees hands out excellent customer service. I like how neat it is and mood. Worth a try.
They use fresh food and it shows!
Yesterday was our first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening very much with the attentive service, with the superb dishes and fine drinks and with the modest price. We will surely return there in a short time.
I just love their food. I always get fantastic customer service there. The place is always clean and the staff members are always very nice. Keep up the good work.
The food and service were beyond my expectations. I truly liked the ambience of this restaurant. Superb spot to take the family out for dinner.
Friendly staff and the food was awesome. I got the bacon breakfast meal to go.
Great home cooked food. If you dislike butter, this place isnt for you. Friendly staff and usually quick in and out.
Excellent food. Atmosphere was warm and very comfortable. My family and I enjoyed our time here very much. We will definitely be back.
Great food, friendly staff. Visit as often as possible!
The food was absolutely incredible, but it doesnt end there. Their hospitality and genuine conversations with the staff was like being welcomed into my own home away from home. Even though I had never tried this place before, they went above and beyond to make sure we all had meals we would love. I noticed around the restaurant there were many BEAUTIFUL homemade crafts and signs mainly representing NH but there is truly something there for everyone. Everything with a tag on it is for sale! We will be back. And by the way, the bread was amaaaazing!
Service was slow - forgot to bring requested water and didnt refill coffee. Wasnt all that crowded. Food was pretty good, but $2.25 for coffee with no free refill is a bit steep for a local diner.
Food was good, staff were attentive. Only thing Id complain about was the very loud TV, not something I wanna hear in the morning.
Not as good as Id hoped. People I know raved about it. Ive had way better for less money. Food was mediocre. Service was also. Mind your business lady. Dont need your input except what would you like today and heres your order and bill. Got it? We dont need your thoughts or opinions on anything not concerning you! Rude. Id give the example but in the slim chance I went back I dont want even worse service or food.
Good breakfast and nice people, very reasonably priced
You cant go wrong here! Everything tastes delicious but the homemade cinnamon roll steals the show.
Awesome local breakfast and lunch spot. Food is always fresh, including home made bread options. Wait staff is fantastic. Quaint decor and plenty of small town charm.
Great omelette, hash and homemade raisin bread.
Excellent food!
Very good food. Good service
I called ahead and spoke to Donna to let her know I would be bringing in 9 people for breakfast before our walk. Donna was extremely accommodating with everything. They had our table ready for us and the service could not have been better with our waitress, Kara. The food was great and the store itself is adorable, with country decor. We walked at Masabesic and we have now claimed this restaurant as our Masabesic breakfast place and I would go back here anytime. Its nice to know that there are still places that I can rate a 10 for service, cleanliness and the most important thing, food. I cant wait to return.
Fantastic food
Cozy breakfast nook!! Food is absolutely amazing! Staff is super quick and friendly!!
Food is good and staff are friendly but breakfast combos are unimaginative (why would you want hash with home fries? Potato with potato?) and limiting with no substitutions allowed. In addition, the coffee cups are tiny, requiring constant refills, as if the wait staff arent busy enough. Prices are okay but a few miles up the road in Raymond, you will find a better deal.
Great staff, great food and amazing bread!
Cozy, home atmosphere. Lots of country style. Very friendly staff. Excellent home cooked style meal. Definately coming back.
Went for an omelette with the SO on a Sat morning. It was one of the best omelettes Ive recently had, way better compared to Red Arrow and Mary Annes. Service is slow when the place is busy and they nickle and dime you for extras.
Great breakfast -fast service -friendly wait staff - homemade thick slices of toast
We all loved our breakfast. Wait staff very friendly.
Texas size toast and fresh ingredients for the best breakfast in Chester NH
Service is wonderful and food is great
The homemade bread is delicious. Great little treasure.
We just left this place. We were seated and asked what we wanted before we opened the menus. We asked for another minute and the waitress seemed annoyed. The whole time we’re eating the waitress is watching us because we’re eating too slow (we were there for 35 minutes max). One of us in the party of 3 was finished and she came over to take our plates. 2 of us weren’t even finished eating! My friend asked for more coffee and waitress sighed and went for coffee. When she returned we asked for cream. Again bothered, she took the cream from the table next to us...which had people eating. She brings the bill, takes some plates, and says “ladies...we have a line at the door.” We hadn’t even half finished the 2nd cup. The funny part was we left, there was 3 people (1 party) waiting to be seated and there were 3 tables available including ours. We called, got the owner, and he could not have been less interested in his poor customer service. We won’t be back. You can go to The English Muffin in Hampstead or Christina’s in Hampstead for better food and to be treated like a paying customer instead of an imposition. Stay away.
Love the breakfast here. Very good food. Great, kind staff.
Great people and food! Building a bit drafty, bring a coat. Antiques inside are very homey.
Always great food & staff
Fair food, curmudgeonly service. Been here twice. Meh. Drive a few more miles to The English Muffin in Hempstead.

Great food, great staff in a charming little NH setting!
Its never disappointed me or my family.
Nice restaurant food good.
Ok so way over priced!!!! No room in the place he sells country gifts signs etc. Owner runs it and cooks I have heard him swear and complain about customers orders. Not impressed with his wall Mart apple juice and cheap orange juice. I saw the wall Mart bottles I would not recommend.
Crowded and tiny, but food and service was awesome.
Excellent food & service is also excellent.
We love coming here. Its so cute and the waitstaff if great!
Unfortunately, no oatmeal. Awesome country atmosphere. Friendly staff.
Homemade bread is fantastic and their homemade cinnamon rolls on Sunday will make you smile
