If you look on these reviews you might see the oh these are good folks this that and the third but they do horrible work I had to have my car taken their six different times just to get the brake situated then they put an AC part on there that has failed and caught on fire in my car the car has wrecked due to the inability of technicians to put on the brakes correctly. For your safety go elsewhere!For a company that is named brake and muffler they do not stand up to their name and I would highly recommend for the safety of you and whoever drives in your vehicles to go elsewhere

Driving home recently I lost power to my car and had to have it towed to a near by mechanic. They told me it would be just over $1000 in repairs. Needing an inspection I asked them to perform that as well. They called me and told me my car would fail inspection because ball joints in both front tires needed to be replaced and gave me an estimate of $1600 for the repairs.I declined that service and got my car to C&J, who I have been to before. They did the inspection and told me my ball joints were fine. Even afterI asked them to double check, they said they did not need to be replaced. Additionally they told me they could have quoted me a few hundred dollars less for the work that I had done at the other mechanic.The lesson I learned is to spend the extra money to tow the car further to someone you trust. C&J has always done right by me and will for years to come.

Did brake job,rear drums...Quoted 350$ which was high... Picked my vehicle up and the cost was 450$... Said I got new drums,wrong... My drums were turned on a brake lathe and I was overcharged for new...Painted my drums to fool me...

Been going there almost 20 years. We trust them and their work is excellent.

The owners are very nice. However, I had no brakes a week ago and took it there, paid for the brake replacement. A week later no brakes again! Took it to Allen tire and was told the washer wasnt on there correctly so i had to pay for the brakes to get fixed twice. Thats not right at all!

Took in for inspection. Been using them for years. Exceptionally honest and reliable.

Buyer Beware. We had the left front cv axle replaced on our 2009 Rogue here. It cost us $450 at Chester Muffler. A month later we had to have the right front cv axle replaced. This time we took it across the street to Allen Tire. It only cost $275 to have it done there. The parts cost about the same ($170 Chester Muffler, $160 Allen Tire). You do the math.

Great service, friendly and honest. If I ever have​ any problems with my muffler or brakes Ill never go anywhere else.
