Friendly workers in a great little shop! im not the wealthiest so i havent bought a lot there but their music selection is huge, and they even have spirituality items like crystals, incense, and a few tarot decks. the workers are really kind, i never have a lot of money to spend so i dont get much but theyre really chill about it even if i just browse :)
I enjoy their selection of insense and music, but it is definitely geared toward stoners. Its not quite my jam but they do have a small number of items i am interested in and cant find anywhere else in town, such as tapestries, hemp fiber products, and the largest music selection in town.
Was told to go to EN to learn about my daughters skateboard issue and the crew was amazing they gave me info on each part of the skateboard and explained what was wrong with the board and gave me options to fix it. Very pleased will be visiting again
Great selection of vinyl (used & new), cds, lava lamps, tye die shirts, tapestries and different types merchandise. Awesome store.
I love this place! They have the coolest stuff at decent prices. Its difficult to describe all of the products they have there.
An excellent inventory of CDs. Last place in Cheyenne to buy CDs.
Awesome shop cool employees best spot in downtown
Hands down best quality vinyl and cds. Keith combs and the guys are very cool and down to earth guys to help you find what your looking for. I drive from Greeley, co just to buy all my music from there. Definitely worth the drive!!!π€π€π€
Thereβs a sign on the front door that requires a mask mandate. Thereβs a not only a city wide mandate but a STATE mandate to wear masks inside of ALL stores. Yet when I went inside to buy Christmas presents, the employee was not wearing a mask. I called and asked if they were mandatory, he replied with masks are not required. Tell me how this is legal. How are the owners not doing anything to follow the state laws? If they try to pull the βoh our business will be effected by mask mandateβ, then shame on them. They will not be affected by this. Good luck on your employees AND CUSTOMERS getting COVID-19.
Parking good. Very limited selection. I tried to sell some LPS and the clerk tried to buy them for $1 each, which was quite offensive considering one of them was an original Beatles βRevolverβ album. Would not recommend for selling your albums. Some clerks are friendly.
I be been shopping Ernies for many years and i always had good service!I will always return for their merchandise.
Staff super helpful and knowledgeable!
Good, but not really any dvds
Great Indie store with the huge variety music and pop culture merchandiseA decent vinyl selection as well as CDs and a few cassettes, a back room with real inexpensive vinyl as well as new vinyl and better condition used vinylLots of pop culture and music related accessories stickers patches posters and lots of other fun stuff do browsThe great little store to get your music Vibes on and enjoy
I absolutely love this place! Great hippie store!
Selection is great, they almost always have great music in the background. The staff is very knowledgeable about what it is Im looking for. They now have an increasing selection of vinyl records and special releases, in a very clean and organized shelving setup. Ernie November is an integral business that helps downtown Cheyenne prosper.
WISH I COULD GET MORE OF WHAT I WANT. THEY ARE UNABLE TO GET SOMETHINGS I WANT.
Best record store around!
Love this place. Reasonable prices, knowledgeable freindly staff. Wide assortment of things, from sage and incense to wax burners and tie died clothing. Huge range of music too.
Its a pretty nice place. Has a good variety of music and a decent selection of posters and tapestries. I got a lotion here last year and no regrets. Its lasted me this long and i use it nearly everyday. Also if youre looking to by insense or candle oils, this is a great place.
The store opened at 10 am. We walked in at 9:58 am because the front door was open and unlocked. The lights were still dim.The clerk rudely and sarcastically said βgenerally when the lights are off the store is closed.β I took me and my tweens and our business elsewhere. Lost our business
This shop rules. Go there now.
I have been going to Ernies since I was a teenager 20 plus years ago, and I can tell you now that my son is a teenager it hasnt changed as our favorite music store. Keith is the only music store owner I know who not only knows music, but he knows all kinds of music. He also sets no preference to a genre and appreciates it all. He will also go above and beyond to get music for you and gives you a fair price for it. I have never been disappointed with a purchase. He always makes it a point to remember his customers by knowing what they like to listen to and know them by name, after all these years Ernies has become a place in Cheyenne where you know your business is valued and your always welcome to stop in for any reason. I am sure with his other stores they will feel the same way that the community here in Cheyenne have about this store, if they dont already. Thank you Ernie November (Kieth and Staff) for always keeping it real, and giving all the misfits here a place to belong generation after generation.
Awesome record store. I can shop for hours. Never want to leave.
Much more than cds.
Ernie November is probably one of the best places in Cheyenne WY. The friendliest staff, always a good assortment of music playing and awesome products for sale like all types of music, cd and vinyl, movies, accessories, clothes and my favorite skateboards!! Love Big Erns!!
Love looking around and buying items from ernies. One of my favorite stores in Cheyenne. Hope they stay around for a long time.
Ernies is a ridiculously cool, small, record shop. From where I live in Nebraska, its the best record shop prior to hitting Denver. Theyve got a very diverse selection of new and used media and some of their stuff is amazing and very hard to find anymore. Sometimes the guys are a little aloof and too cool for you, but generally once you start talking to them, they come back down off their high-horses and remember that just because we cant all work in an awesome shop like that, we can still be talked to on the same level. :-DDont let that part keep you away, though. Theyre not jerks, just have a little bit of an air being put on at times. So bottom line - Go. Buy stuff. Love your new selections and then when you get paid next time, go back. Buy more stuff. You wont regret it.
This store was great. The staff were very nice and outgoing. The best part, though? A great selection of metal. If youre ever in Cheyenne and looking for a cool place to buy some great metal albums. This is the place!
Love this place. Ive bought so much incense, sage, awesome hats, and other odds and ends here. They are always friendly with a great selection of all types of awesome things. Whether you love music, or need a new t-shirt, anyone can find something they cant go home without at Ernies.
Excellent and the dudes there are very Laid back, cool and chill.πAnd a good place to order a movie /tv series and show or cds/records.
Kitschy Head/Skate/Record shop. Usually have what Im looking for, if not, theyll order it in. Never had a bad experience!
Its awesome to have stores like these still especially in the oh Ill just download it age. I still love having a physical copy of an Album especially a new copy of one. To cut off the plastic open it up and smell the fresh printed ink or press (for vinyl) and be able to read the lyrics as you listen to your favorite artists. This place has it all. New & used music (CDs, Tapes, & Vinyl) as well as DVDs, Shirts, Stickers, Hoodies Etc. Glad my girlfriend brought me here when I came up to visit her. Definitely a must stop for any music fan or if youd looking for some nostalgia.
This place is like stepping back in time. Awesome music selection, staff is great and wonderful vibes! Would recommend to any music lover
This store has an abundant selection of disc golf discs. The owner Keith is really cool and will special order discs for you. I hit this place up on a weekly basis. Definitely worth the trip.
They are always real kickass when I roll through town. Cool place
Its a great music spot!
A GREAT BIG FAT (((ZERO_STARS))) FOR THIS PLACE. First I like to say that your selection of skateboard products is pathetic at best in my opinion! But that is not my main issue with this place. The only item we found in the store was a t-shirt for my son. No problems there since he liked the t-shirt. The issue I had was I told the guy who checked us out that I had to have a CREDIT CARD RECEIPT before he rang us up. He refused claiming it cost to much money for the paper and he was saving money by not printing one out for me. He flat out said he could not print one out for for me. He did give me a cheesy register receipt that had NO CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON IT. I am not totally sure but is there a Federal Law that a merchant has to provide the customer a CREDIT CARD RECEIPT when the customer requests one?Hey Ernie November! If you are so cheap that you have to refuse printing a second credit card receipt when the customer requested it several times maybe you belong OUT OF BUSINESS in my opinion! That is just a sad and PATHETIC cheap excuse as far as I am concerned! Owe, dont even try your pathetic canned trash talk response to save face. In my opinion you are a sad excuse of a cheap skate company who is TO CHEAP TO SIMPLY PRINT A CREDIT CARD RECEIPT when asked for it by the customer! You belong OUT OF BUSINESS in my opinion if you have to pull that cheap trash to save money!Owe, your response is as pathetic as your cheap skate method of saving money. I told you I wanted a credit card receipt BEFORE you rang us up. I do not care about you sad excuse of choosing no. Just more rhetoric on your part in my opinion. The cost of a second credit card receipt is MINIMAL at only a FRACTION of a cent compared to the profit you made on the one t-shirt. YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR SAD EXCUSE OF AN APOLOGY. BTW, the only thing long winded is your sad cheap skate method to save a FRACTION of a cent.IF YOU DONT LIKE MY REVIEW STATING THE ACTUAL FACTS THEN TOUGH!!! You get what you reap!
Love our local record store, man. I enjoy rifling through the selection and browsing their new stock of goodies. This place has something for everyone. 20+ years and still going strong.
Great place to get music and some odds and ends. Knowledgable employees that are pretty nice. Would recommend.
Best place for music and unique gifts. This business has made a huge impact by supporting local music as well. They have hosted many shows right inside their shop
While on vacation in wyoming from arizona, stumbled across this place. Very cool merchandise! I got some pins and patches for my vest. They have some very cool hard rock and metal memorabilia.
Great music store! Fun to just go and look around. The owner is really awesome and knows music well, so can help with anything. Theyve got a large selection of other goods as well. Go in and look, you wont be let down!
You gotta love Ernie Novembers.. they have everything from albums (vinal) to skateboards and lots of stuff in between. If its cool theyve got it. Cool people working inside (thanks guys for all your help) found a vinal album I had been trying to get ahold of for years. Go in browse around youll be amazed at what you might find, and I guarantee you wont leave empty-handed.
Fantastic local shop. Great staff, amazing finds and the shows that they occasionally hold are always killer.
This is a great little record store, in the heart of downtown! They have a great selection of records, CDs, and lots of other things!
Cool ace. Lots of good music - new and used.

Great place with a great selection, and Keith the owner is an awesome dude.
Keith and the rest are awesome. Great selection of media, including plenty of vinyl, all at fair pricing. Definitely a place to check out if passing through Cheyenne.
Always enjoy visiting this great store . Staff is top notch and always have what Im looking for
Awesome place to shop and amazing customer service!!
Needed to find cassette tapes for my daughters car. Not only found cassettes, but so many other awesome items. Brought back memories of my hippie days in the 70s.
Best place to buy records. In town
Excellent vinyl selection and cool people working there who know their music.
I was really excited to stop into this shop while hanging out in Cheyenne on our vacation. I was jazzed to find some cool used CDs and DVDs. however, when we got home I found the the DVD did not work and there was no CD in the case. I guess someone stole it in the store or something. Check your CDs before you buy them because they do not. And be wary of buying used DVDs which I am already but I took a chance hoping they would have checked it before selling it to people. Overall a cool shop, but disappointed.
Love the billings mt store, this store did not offer half of the things billings does. LOVE LOVE LOVE ernie November but Cheyenne didnt offer half the stuff I love most about the store.
Excellent products and customer service I have done business with Keith for 15 years and have never had any problems.
Coolest music store Ive been to in awhile!
Came up from Colorado and had a very positive experience. I went shopping for vinyl but they have a ton of other knick knacks and apparel as well. Vinyl was all fairly priced and they had a good selection. Will deffinitly make the drive up here next time instead of buying overpriced vinyl in Fort Collins.
Owner is very knowledgeable of the things he sells and very personable and friendly
Good little music shop to pick up the latest music that comes out on cd
Staff is always really friendly and fun to chat with. They are involved heavily in the community and appear to genuinely love the downtown Cheyenne area.
Very kind and helpful staff, decent prices, great records for vinyl collectors on the hunt. Expect I will be a regular customer from here on.
This will always be one of my favorite stores in Cheyenne. Been going here since i was a teen.
Best music store hands down.keith and the guys are fast and friendly
Kieth has great customer service skills as do his counter help it is a through back of the way the old cheyenne downtown shops allways where as an older cheyenne working man I give this place very high praise keeping cheyenne cheyenne.
Cheyenne Wyoming has cool CD stores and incense??? WHO WOULDVE THOUGHT. Not me thats for sure. But once I came here I was like woah budddyyy theres a lot more coolness in Wyoming than I thought Anyways long story short Im moving to Cheyenne and its all because of this kickass music store.
Love this store. Definitely will be back!
Just wanted to take a moment to tell everybody to go by Ernie November if you would. Keith and his crew are knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant people. With a HUGE variety of LPs and CDs both new and used. They are local, love their community, and are excited that you are excited about music. If you skate or smoke, they are also very accommodating with a wide array of decks, trucks, wheels and bearings; with a great variety of Shisha and smoking accessories. They have in-store shows and sell tickets to events across the region. This is not a local business to be passed up. If you need any kind of music please spend your money here, you wont be unhappy.
Great selection, fun staff and a great all around record store environment.
