I was able to get an appointment within one day of calling to schedule. The team was prompt in checking me in and the wait time for the technician to see me was only 10 minutes. The wait time for the doctor to complete the examination and interpret the test results was only 5 minutes. Afterwards Laura helped me with frame selection and purchase. I had a wonderful experience.

I wanted to shine a special light on the staff at Lenscrafters in Chicago Ridge. I was very nervous about going into my appointment today. There was a wonderful amount of social distancing and every instrument used were kept clean. My Doctor Mr. Kammer and the sweet lady Mrs. Laura were extremely pleasant with me and very helpful. Great service during covid, clean environment and stations to place glasses after contact. Everyone was helpful, they explained questions about the test completed and suggestions to improve daily eye health. Just wish it didn’t take 5-10 days to get the glasses, I miss seeing 🙃😂

Came in for 3 appointments, one a regular eye check, two for contacts and a follow up. I got a new insurance plan and wanted to try it out. Doctors were friendly and seemed to be very knowledgeable about their field and answered any questions with ease. Customer service was absolutely terrible and waited over an hour while staff stood around and talked about gas prices and what hours they would be working on Sunday. Came in for a 1200 appointment but a walk-in at 12:40 was taken instead. Just walked out at that point, this place is absolutely unprofessional and overpriced. The other reviews don’t lie, this is a terrible place to come to, spend your money elsewhere

I will never return here again! Customer service is terrible! I hate the Sears optical closed. I only come here for Dr. Tabanaky since his services are so great. Ive experienced lost frames, poor customer service, employees never calling you back when they saw they will. Ive been waiting on my new glasses for about 3wks to a month. Waiting for a call to come pick up my glasses. No call. I called them back today and glasses ready. I called last wk. And associate said they were sent off should be here last Tuesday. A wk later still now call!!!! I had to call them!!!!Nice doing business with you Lens Crafter; But, I will not return or do any more business with Lens Crafters as of today!!!After! While Im not a fan of the quality of lenses at Lenscrafters from past experience (lenses on my and my husbands glasses began to have a peeling appearance within a year of use) I returned for an exam and contact lense prescription. I was blown away with Dr. Moore and her willingness to assist me. She has excellent customer service and truly takes the time to answer questions. She was very knowledgeable and explained information in a professional and easy to understand way. I will be returning next year to see Dr. Moore!

Kathy you shouldn’t go to for any of your problems. They have a 30 day exchange and I called before my 30 days was over because I was going be out of town, the doctor told them he would write in my file, because my contacts kept popping out my eyes while I was driving. well the doctor wrote it in my file not her ipad she turned me away and made a seen where I was humiliated because they thought I was trying to scam them.. she assumed before double checking my hard file that I was lying. Till I asked her to check the doctor file. Well guess what the doctor did write it.. so after getting humiliated by Kathy she had to return my old contacts. That’s really unprofessional of her and I will not go back to that LensCrafters’s and she will be getting a complaint from her upper management Andrew.

I made an appointment for 12:20 and I checked in at 11:45. Needless to say I waited and waited till 1:10 and didnt get called. Person after person after me gets called in and there I am waiting. Not to mention Im sitting right next to the check in desk. With all the staff they had, you would have thought someone would have asked if Id been helped. I went in for an eye exam on August 31 and the lady who helped me said I was able to reorder the same glasses from the previous year. I paid in full and was told it would take 7-10 business days to pickup. I called after a month of not getting any calls and was told the promise date was Oct 10. I asked about my husbands order and was told that he picked up the glasses, but he never received a call letting him know order was ready for pick up. I told the rep that he never received the glasses, she was really rude about it. I then waited for the promise date, and still didnt receive a call yet. I called a few days later, and was told that glasses were discontinued. So, I called again and was told glasses might be lost and I would get a $50 refund for the inconvenience. That I could order a different pair. So, I went into the store to ask about ordering a new pair, but didnt find any thing I liked. The girl told me that I could look online and if I found something I liked they could order it if not on stock at the store. I found some glasses today and went ahead and called the store to get them ordered. The rep that answered was really rude. I told her that I was calling to order some glasses that I found online and she said she will check if they had them on stock at the store. She said they couldnt order them for me, but that they had 1 at the orland park location. I asked if they coudnt order at all, if I could get a refund. She said what are you talking about? I explained to her that I had already paid for the other pair but something went wrong with the order and glasses were lost in transit. Said she will talk to a manager and call me back. Horrible service!!!! Will not be going back after this. Not worth the headache

Worst customer service! I’ve been coming here for years but lately with the new management this location has really gotten worse. I waited 3 months for my contacts and every time I called and asked I kept getting the run around and kept getting told someone would call me back and not once did anyone return my calls. The day I picked up my contacts I asked if there was any availability for an eye exam with contacts for mi little sister. I understand it was last minute and didn’t expect it but I was told they had a spot then they tell me last minute after waiting there for 30 minutes they can’t do a contact fitting yet still charge me full price without doing full services.

The salesperson entered my prescription and phone number incorrectly. I had to make 4 trips to the store to get my eyeglasses. Then waited over two to get my sunglasses only to have the right lens be completely wrong. I took the sunglasses to another location and it will probably be another two weeks. Terrible experience. A lot of my time wasted and I still dont have my sunglasses.

Dr. KLING was amazing. I didnt expect such great service to be honest. However, he explained things I havent known in my 30 years of wearing glasses. I have always found that I had to ask questions with previous Vision doctors. Also, given my poor sight and other variants. I honestly felt he cared about ensuring my success of having an accurate vision prescription. Even when we had to go back in and re- do the exam. Previous doctors would sometimes get annoyed. Dr. Kline was patient... I truly appreciate this and I feel trust in his expertise.Also, the customer service at the front desk were amazing. I was having issues with my CareCredit card purchase. The young lady (I wish I got her name). Was patient and helpful. The manager even joined in and helped withot question. I ended up leaving after 40 min of all our frustration with Carecredit only paying for exam. However, later the same day I called back and explained my issue. The young man (Also didnt get his name) remembered me. He was great in assisting me to order my contacts over the phone & accepting payment. He made sure to get all my discounts added and got the info on the rebate emailed to me.With this, Not only was the Optomologist Great but My service on the front end was equally great. Which, lets be honest, it takes one poor interaction with someone on a health visit to mess up your experience. I appreciate the 1st time visit went so well. Even with the payment issues from my credit bank. I will be back next year for sure - Thanks Chi Ridge Lenscrafters Team :-) continue being awesome with your patients.

I preffer to give no stars at all.Terrible people which dont care about customers. I was waiting at the front 20min. first in the line . After that time when more customers showed up they suggested that Ill be at the end of the line because of capacity limits which allowed 10 people in the store and appointmets are first. It also means that only staff can be there it is so many of them and no customers. Two people at the front, nobody knows for what two - VERY RUDE!!In this hard time of COVID some people strugling because no having job and some, like in this store, dont want to work and dont respect customers.Now I see according to review of others that this locations has a problem to treat customers nice and professional.I was ready to order two pairs of glassess. your loss !Never Ever Again!!!

Had my first eye appointment here with Lenscrafters located at Chicago Ridge Mall. Since Sears Optical went out of business not too long ago, I was skeptical about finding another optometrist with the small, quiet location, friendly customer service, familiar faces, and affordable prices that Sears Optical once offered. I decided to give Lenscrafters a try out of desperation to get my yearly eye exam out of the way. On arrival, I felt immediately at ease by the front desk secretary and the eye-care advisor who greeted me as I entered. The wait to see the doctor was not long at all, and he explained everything to me in such a manner that made the information very easy to comprehend. Dr. Kling and staff were very professional, compassionate, and helpful as they attended to my care. Laura, one of the eye-care advisors who handled the processing and payment for my prescription, was the most helpful one out of everyone, and was dedicated to giving the best service to myself as far as prices and deals go. For a person who hates going to the eye doctor, I definitely enjoyed the experience a lot more than I couldve imagined, and am looking forward to doing business with this Lenscrafters location in the future. I am very disappointed by this location. I am repeat customer. Requested to be notified via text. Received 5 text messages but only 3 of the 5 pairs were ready. I finally received a phone call to say the final pair was ready. I went to the store and they offered no free wipes or eyeglass cleaner. Last time I bought two pairs and received all kinds of freebies. Please be consistent. Appreciate a repeat customer.

Last appointment they messed up my prescription. I tried telling them a number of times that they didn’t seem right but they told me it was fine and I just had to adjust. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 6, I know the difference between adjusting to new lenses and not being able to see. I went to a different optometrist to have the exam redone and get a second pair of glasses, lo and behold LensCrafters had the wrong prescription.The frames are also an issue as they are slanted and when each time i went to get them adjusted they tell me my ears must be crooked, but again I’ve been wearing glasses since I was a child and it’s never been an issue so instead of going to them I have to constantly bend them into the corrrct position. I’ve been going to this location for 24 years and never had a problem that wasn’t solved quickly and now not only are there problems but they tell me I’m wrong and don’t help.

I really liked this place (before), but once I walked in and waited. The lady said she was going to be with me. Yeah i understand i have to wait, but a few minutes pass. Another customer walked in and she went straight to him? Like I needed a refill and contacts, but that was denied too. I know I have a chance to get at least a few days emergency supply of lenses. They didnt even want to because I needed to make an appointment. I already had one set for another day. Just horrible experience.

Very bad experience when I arrived to pick up my glasses. Approach desk, spoke with clerk, she took information and told me to sit at desk 2. I did. Asst mgr approached me with my glasses and then gave me my glasses. I put them on and reached into my Envelope to pull out some papers so I could test my glasses and then this asst mgr yelled at me, you cant read those papers, there are HIPPA laws against you reading others papers I just look at this stupid individual, how can i violate any HIPAA LAWS BY READING MY OWN PAPERS no class by management here. Then she tells me that i am sitting on the wrong side of the desk. Really, well the clerk just told me to sit at desk 2. This location needs better management and consideration for their customers.

Would not recommend going here if you want glasses. My first experience went terrible it took 3 months to get my glasses cause no one ordered them until I called 3 weeks later. Waited 2 yrs and went back trying to give them a chance again and nope two weeks no glasses called them up to find out what the deal was and they said they were getting in on Thursday that I could pick them up on Friday, well needless to say they didnt have them and then while waiting they messed up another person order by ordering them the wrong frames. And the lack of concern Andrew 529912(manager) had was disrespectful like well dont know why you came in we dont have them, it will be another 2 weeks, and then turned his back and walked away from me while I was still talking. Needless to say after that I got a refund and wont be returning to this location.

Im big on customer service. This place was horrible. I went in and wasnt greeted. I tried on several glasses and was never asked if I needed any help. If they are short on staff you should still address your customers and let them know. And when I did ask one of the associates a question you thought I was bothering her. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. This place is horrible and lacks professionalism or customer service. They always lose power and dont place customers orders; no backup system or plan in place so youll be without your order. I was told my glasses would arrive within 7 days and its been almost 14 days and still no glasses. They were deceitful and rude. Trust these comments and go elsewhere; I wish I would have walked out.
