I was able to take 2 windows to them and get them fixed within 2 days. Other places I called said it would take at minimum a week.

I Ordered custom temper glass for my shower.Customer service was horrible. The oldest man talked to me like I was a little kid. Very disrespectful The place looked very dirty and ceiling was missing. This place reminded me of a junk yard. Horrible service. I will never spend a dollar at this business. The city of small business needs to show up do an inspection major volitions.

Ive been trying to locate a glass place for my replacement glass. I would say theyre customer service is COMPLETELY lacking upon two initial visits and they are kind of pricey.

I had a windshield replaced here and initially I said what a sloppy job when I got my car back but the worse part is after 3 months I needed to replace my windshield again. I decided to go with Safe Auto this time. I was called back into the garage and shown what Smith Auto had used to install my previous window and I couldve fainted. They used a silicone that hasnt been used in this industry since the 80s!!! I was told that it was an unsafe windshield installation. I will never go back and support this place again ever!! They were sloppy and left glass in my car and used tape thats hard to get off your car. They just cut too many corners for me.

This place knows glass. They replaced the glass in a couple of windows in my house that had broken. The guy asked no questions, looked at the glass and knew exactly what he needed to do. It was ready in a day and it was very inexpensive.

Called a couple of times to try to get someone to come out and give me an estimate to have window screens installed in my home. I was told someone will be there sometime on Thursday. Huh?! Who said I was available Thursday. The person that was on the phone had a hard time understanding that I worked and could not just make myself available for sometime on Thursday. Super unprofessional and inflexible.

Smith glass been in business for over 70 years never had a problem with them I know all the brothers and their father the only black own glass company in Chicago I highly recommend them, they will adjust prices for you if needed.

Very unprofessional! I, too, tried to support my neighboring black owned business, (since I am a black owned business, too) but this place is RIDICULOUS!Charles is very rude, loud, disredpectful and demeaning! We had an appointment scheduled to replace 3 windows on my storefront that were vandalized, yet Smith Glass workers never showed or called to let me know why they werent at my business to do the job as scheduled. When I called, I was told that they were tied up at a job up north and if I didnt get called within the next few minutes, they werent coming! Unbelievable!! I will not be patronizing this business and now Im willing to spend the extra $50 that I was quoted from another business that completed the job within 24 hours of my phone call. Thanks, USA Glass (up north!) SMH........

Took a double pane house window to them, only one pane was cracked, but they said I had to replace both panes. Charged me $75. I found out after, that I could have gotten only one pane fixed at other places. They did not tell the truth.

The employees of Smith Glass are extremely unprofessional. Charles, Frank, and Bob all promised appointment times and never showed up. When I called to complain about the horrible service Charles was EXTREMELY rude; somehow trying to make their lack of service my fault.The one thing they actually did was replace glass in a frame that I later had another glass company was not usable/repairable. ₵75 and a week of my time down the drain.Dont waste your time!
