Worked here for 3 days and it was horrible. My position was driver but they made a merchandiser which is a person that sticks the shelves. Then I had to take kegs of beer down basement stairs and stack those on top of each other with ABSOLUTELY NO TRAINING I was thrown to the wolves as well as talked to disrespectfully by the attendance supervisor and my partner on my last day. But I did meet one guy that was a great person.
Absolutely terrible. Would also give it zero stars if possible
Is easy to get there with big truck and very friendly workers fast unloading
If I could give zero I would
Once you know the correct ways to get to and from this location itll be a breeze going forward. The unload is on Ferdinand Street (opposite side of the building from the main address). There is a fenced in lot just beyond the building that can be utilized to turn around so you wont have to do a blindside. No overnight parking is allowed in the lot, however parking on the street adjacent to the docks is acceptable as long as no other business driveways are blocked by your equipment. They have maps available upon request to help you as you depart, I posted these in the photos section. My experience with unloading was first come first serve starting at 6 am. I was unloaded in less than 20 minutes. They dont allow idling while youre being unloaded.
Always quick if no tipped over pallets, unloaded in 20 mins
I was transferred over to the beer line someone was on the line and never bothered to help me
I went for a interview and it didnt go well it was some months ago but would have love the opportunity.
Very fast unloading. You can check at 6:00am. Receiving is on Ferdinant St. Overnight i parked on the street. There is signs tow zone do not park but no worries..police wont trouble with you.4 stars only cause the guy in the front was rude to me when i checked in.
These guys should really give directions to truckers delivering here! My both truck gps and garmin took me the wrong way. Tons of low clearance bridges. So here’s the screenshot of the way I got there
4* cause there are no signs where to check in. there are two sets of docks just make sure u try both. Very tight backing if u get the docks to the west but still doable. Very quick unload . Also double check ur map ton of tight turns to get here and low clearance
Chicago Beverage is one of the largest beer distributors in Chicagoland. They are the suppliers for all of the stadiums, ball parks, McCormick Place and an untold number of stores and markets . They unload fairly quickly and are a good place to deliver to.
N Cicero ave to w Chicago ave to n Kilbourne aveOvernight parking available on street
Truck drivers if you come from I 290 west take exit 24 and catch us 50(Cicero ave)North for a few miles to W Chicago st take a right turn on Chicago and continue to N Kilbourn ave until reach the W Ferdinand st and make left on this this street, warehouse is on right never go deliver in this place so my cargo was super heavy and in such a tight parking spot to blow one single tire profit from cargo go a way !!!!!
Pretty friendly Staff. Docks on FERDINAND ST. They don’t get cranky if you are there early. They try to u load you fast as they can. I was out off there in 45 min. Asked them directions to get to highway. They were friendly to give me this truck route direction. Do not use Pulaski Ave they said will mass up trailer roof. Low cleanse bridge.
Not to bad for Chicago delivery. Receiving located on the Ferdinand St.Backing up from the street but enough space. You can pass the docks and make a U turn.4 star only because I had to wait more than an hour to get the dock.
Needs better signs for docks
Docks are the typical types for big city warehouses, somewhat difficult and tight. I got lucky, as there was no one else there at 700, so it was easier to maneuver. Staff is very helpful and friendly, Sammy was great!
Fast loading, you better know how to back up off the street. Youll back inside the building.Truck route directions:If going west on I-290, you will need to exit off 24A, merge onto the West bound Frontage Rd. At top of the ramp, turn left at the red light. At the very first red light, turn left on the East bound Frontage Rd to get back on I-290 east(eastbound traffic can take the directions from this point). Take the exit for IL-50, go north. Turn right on Chicago Ave, then take a right N. Kilburn Rd(swing wide). Turn left on Ferdinand St and the docks will be on the right. You will have to get turned around to face Kilburn Rd in order to back in. There spots to park on Ferdinand St to sleep for the night
Hard as hell to get to in a tractor trailer but once you find it they are pretty good.
I was making a delivery there and some piece of sht fixing a fence there didnt let me take my dog for a walk on their huge lawn, rude!
I believe that it will be a great place to work...
Fast and friendly
Good folks, but tight for trucks
Well. I got here early n they will unload me.
