Stopped by for the grand opening. Really impressed by the quality and variety of the beer; kolshs, ales, porters, IPAs. Particularly liked the marshmallow stout, resting peach face kettle sour and strawberry blonde ale.Great beer flight options and QR code menu. Good spacing of tables and employee face masking. Friendly staff and also pet friendly.

Best brewery in Chicago- hands. down. They have an incredible variety of beer!!! And every single one is delicious- honestly haven’t had a bad beer there. My favorites are Resting Peach Face and Hazy River IPA.The service and ambience is great too. Darts, board games, and a few outdoor tables. Great location as well.If you haven’t been here yet, you are missing out!

Hazy River is a seriously solid hazy. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Happy to have them in the hood.

Its a nice enough place but I was disgusted by one of the bartenders. They poured my beer and there was a bubble of foam. They pulled their mask down and blew directly into my drink to pop the bubble. They pulled their mask back up, said you had a bubble and handed me my drink. I dont think they understand what their mask is for.

Absolutely DELICIOUS beer! The owner/head brewer, James, is so nice and knowledgeable about beer. The take-away options are great and my husband and I always end up needing to go back for more. My personal favorite is the Hazy River IPA but you have to stop back often. Their beers change up regularly and you are bound to find something new and delicious when you stop in! (My all-time favorite beer was a specialty one they made last summer in honor of Chance the Snapper)

Hold My Beer Hefe is the first Hefe brewed outside Germany that I wanted a second one.

Great beer, greater people. James, Marcy, and the whole team are friendly and creative and passionate about what they do. Each beer has a depth of flavor and unique character that shows how skilled this brewery is. Pop Hops, Packy, Schwartz Weather, and of course the Humble Gator are just a handful of our favorites. Proud to support our neighbors and can’t wait to see more from them!

James Moriarty and the team at Urban Brew Labs are amazing. The Schwarz Weather (black lager) and their Zee Wickel (zwickelbier) are the two most delicious beers you can’t find anywhere else!! So glad they are in my neighborhood.

This brewery was such a great stop while I was in Chicago. Do yourself a favor and buy the groupon, try out these beers, and get a free glass. Super worth it and the brewers are down to earth. Thanks again!

I was just here over the weekend while waiting to start my Koval Distillery tour next door. What a great surprise! I thought the beer was really good (From IPAs to Sours)for being one of the newer micro breweries in an already saturated market in Chicago. Got to sample every beer on tap and chat with the friendly staff. They dont exactly have a tasting room (like some of the other larger breweries nearby) but you get to stand on the main floor of the brewery and look around while you sip on your beer. I also loved vintage look and feel of this re-purposed lumber mill/warehouse. Im sure there are future plans for a proper tasting room/brewpub in the future and look forward to that experience. Be sure to stop by before or after the Koval tour. Always drink local!

The owner James is 10/10 guy - commited to his craft, his business, and to his community. He might be from the East coast, but hes an honorary Chicago native. The beer is similarly excellent and Im very excited to come back when they have finished the welcoming area/bottle store.

James is the man - a must stop in Chicago for Craft Beers!

Such a great place. The place has a very nice vibe. Oh, and the beer selection is amazing and tastes great. Pretty easily accessible via Metra or L trains.
