Hi Im Marco. Im 12 years old. I went to Abraham Lincoln Book Shop today on Sept. 21, 2019. I had a really nice experience and got to see everything I wanted. I got to meet Mr. Weinberg and see a book with all the cabinet member signitures!

Previous one star was an error. Phenomenal bookshop.

My husband and I went here on a whim, just because it was on our way to a restaurant where we were having dinner. Could not recommend more highly. Neither of us has any special interest in or knowledge of Lincoln or the Civil War, but the bibliopole (this is what his card says) Bjorn Skaptason gave us a guided tour of the store. We ended up hitting on the topic of German migration to the US during the 19th century, in particular the role of German radicals in the abolition movement, a piece of history I had never heard about. I was completely hooked and we ended up being late to dinner. It would be interesting to know what other pockets of deep knowledge Bjorn has.

Can be hard to find the entrance, first door past green street on the north side of the street.
