What an experience! We had the studio to ourselves, which is always a plus. Had an absolute blast with Jen she was able make me feel and look great! She knew what gown I should try on next based off of my opinions. I cannot wait to walk down the aisle and get married in my AK gown! Thank you to the whole AK team!!

I loved every second of my experience at Alyssa Kristin. Jen was so welcoming and warm the moment we walked through the door. She made me feel comfortable and that made what could be a stressful decision super easy. The dress selection is what made it hard to decide because I absolutely loved all the dresses I tried on. Jen was never pushy but she gave valuable feedback and thoughts on the dresses I tried on. Once I decided on my dress, she was super clear on the next steps and how to move forward. I can not recommend AK enough!! LOVE!!!

Much like the reviewer below, my dress was gorgeous and I loved it. But by the end of the night FIVE buttons had fallen off!!! This is so unacceptable for what I spent on the dress. They clearly have some sort of quality issue happening and are letting their customers face the brunt of it. Very disappointing. I suggest you find a similar style of better quality for what you are going to pay!!

The dress was perfect. I am giving them a 2 star rating because the day of my wedding I had 2 buttons fall off my dress before my ceremony even starting. At the end of the night I had lost a total of 4 buttons. A gown for this price should not be losing buttons.

When it comes to your wedding dress, you want the dress of your dreams -- and I wasnt going to settle for anything less! I spent nearly 2 months searching for the perfect dress, lining up appointments at over 10 different stores around Chicago and I just couldnt find the one. I was so lucky to have come across Alyssa on a google search. I love Alyssas story about how she became a dress designer - designing her own dress because she couldnt find one she loved either.Alyssa customized a dress for me that made ALL my dreams come true! I wanted simple, classic beauty and she nailed it. Later in the process I decided to not have a veil and she designed a beautiful tulle cape for me that stole the show! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to her. Alyssa is so passionate about what she does. She is extremely detailed oriented and will go to great lengths to make sure your dress fits you perfectly. She has a beautiful talent and I cannot wait to follow her coming collections. Not to mention she is one of the sweetest people on this earth. I LOVED every minute working with her.

I am a perfectionist at heart and really had a hard time finding a dress that fit my vision for my wedding. I had gone into the dress process very open minded and tried on almost every type of silhouette. At first, I was drawn to more of a sheath silhouette but soon stumbled upon a few designers that turned my world upside down. Inbal Dror and Galia Lahav create masterpieces that are sexy, and stunning. There is really nothing more to say. I was obsessed, until I realized that these Israeli designers charge enough to buy a car…a used car, but still. Not in my budget. The problem was I really didn’t know what I wanted at that point. I had a shape, and style per se in mind but not necessarily a direction to go in and was at a loss to find something similar within my budget which was pretty healthy, not obscene, but healthy. In addition, the wedding dress market can be hard. Many of the shops you go do have the same 20 designers in the same budget. Many shops or boutiques don’t have affordable dresses that are stylish. The dresses are the standard “expected” dress that everyone has. You can’t go into a wedding dress shop and try on a trendy dress without spending a fortune!.... I’m very passionate about this so don’t get me started…. Therefore, I digress.Through a friend, I was connected with Alyssa and set up a consultation. I immediately felt a sense of reassurance. After about 5 minutes with her, I knew this was it! She assured me that we would be able to work together and design a dress that had all the aspects I was looking for. She was very professional, confident, and organized. I couldn’t wait to get started!We spent the next few months first discussing and designing, then shopping for lace, and finally fitting. At my first meeting with her after deciding on the lace, she had the entire shell of the dress completed! I was shocked! It was SO reassuring to have something to try on and to get a feel for the design and where we would go from there. Alyssa anticipated my requests almost throughout the entire process! Every single time we met, I felt more and more like a bride!She is fantastic and a girl on fire! Her collection is to die for! I would recommend her hands down to anyone who felt the same way I did or really likes a dress but wanted to modify it in some way. Alyssa’s work is so beautiful and elegant! Working with her and Paulina was a breeze. They made me feel so comfortable, did not put any pressure on me nor did they push their products on me like other boutiques did earlier that day—I was at ease. Alyssa and Paulina are also so incredibly sweet and helpful! Service was great as we were greeted at the door with drinks and Alyssa’s super cute dog. I lived out of the state at the time, so communication was pretty important and I had no issues contacting Alyssa or Paulina. AK bridal delivered my dress to the nearest UPS, which was great because my apartment did not have a secure way to hold my packages. I highly recommend any futures brides to AK bridal for the exceptional services and integrity of their stunning dresses.

I bought my dress in the Chicago location and was not disappointed. Great customer service, lovely studio, private appointment, and overall a great experience. Paulina Soltys was who assisted me and she has been so great. She answered all our questions, responded to emails right away, and has made this process so smooth. Alyssa literally saved my wedding last year...I found out 3 months before the date that the boutique I bought my dress from had shut, there was no dress and the whole thing was a scam! I was looking for a fairly simple, modern style wedding dress, but also wanted a dress that was a bit more fun and had more personality than your typical white wedding gown. I found that Alyssa Kristins collection had exactly what I was looking for. I stumbled across her Colette gown during my bridal appointment at a local bridal boutique. While I couldnt stop thinking about how much I had loved her dress, I also had hated my experience at the bridal boutique so I decided to contact Alyssa directly about wearing her dress for my wedding, and I was so glad that I did.Alyssa was very supportive and friendly; it was great working with her. She was very attentive when discussing any tweaks I wanted for my dress, and everything arrived on time, and just as expected. Its very clear that Alyssa loves what she does and I highly recommend working with her for your own wedding dress.

Alyssa was such a pleasure to work with designing my wedding dress and veil. My dress turned out perfect and was simple, elegant, but still sexy and the veil was a perfect accent. It could not have fit me any better and Ive gotten asked by many brides to be who made my dress and if they can wear my veil. She is even shortening it for me so I can wear it for anniversaries or other occasions . Im sad that we are done working together as it was such a fun experience!

My wedding dress was more than I could have ever dreamed of. Alyssa was so personal and accommodating throughout the entire planning process while we created my dress from scratch. She worked weekends and late during the week in order to make sure my dress was perfect....and it was! I got exactly what I wanted and she made sure I was happy. Alyssa designed and created a custom wedding gown for me through a local bridal boutique (B. Loved Bridal in Columbus, Ohio) for my December 2016 wedding. Alyssa was wonderful to work with. She understood my preferences and concerns and truly worked with me and the boutique owner to bring my dream dress to life. Her being in Chicago posed no problems, as she included me in every detail, every step of the way (e.g., re-measurements, sending a muslin pattern to try on, etc.). The gown turned out beautifully; so many people commented on how exquisite the dress was. If only I had another reason to work with her again - I could not recommend her more!

I had a horrible experience at the Alyssa Kristin bridal salon this weekend. I had booked an appointment 4 months prior and received confirmation of the appointment. This was going to be the only available day for me. However, when I arrived I was told that the appointment had been double booked due to a “system glitch.” The sales representative mentioned this sometimes happened, as if it was a common occurrence...This was an hour drive for me by the way...The representative handled the mix up in the most uncomfortable and cringeworthy way. She invited both my party and the other bride’s party into the showroom to explain our options. She told us that we could come back later that day for the appointment or she would make available a time for the next day for the bride that could give up the current time slot. This was not an option for either I or the other bride making the situation even more uncomfortable. (This is why brides book these things way in advance!!!) I just couldn’t believe I had to even discuss these options in front of the other bride and her family. I cannot stress enough how incredibly uncomfortable it was. It honestly made me feel like an intruder into what should have been another bride’s special day. Additionally, the compensation that was offered for the mixup was a joke. The rep mentioned that they could provide a 10% discount on the gown if we chose to purchase from them. 10% is the equivalent of taking away the sales tax...that is a complete joke and totally not on par for making up for such a colossal mistake. I felt it was honestly a slap in the face...as if they did not really care about our business. I left without even trying on a dress because I didn’t want to ruin the day for the other bride. I will most definitely not be coming back! As I thought more about the situation I thought to myself...what if I had liked a dress and placed an order. Would their glitchy system have lost the order!? Would I have been left without a dress and only a pathetic apology like the one I received that day!?!? No thank you...not worth it.

I could not have asked for a better wedding dress experience. Alyssa Kristin is truly talented and a joy to work with. Choosing or designing a wedding dress can be slightly emotional and sometimes difficult, but Alyssa Kristin knows how to work with brides to make it a fun and exciting experience. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable, and always felt like the dress was in great hands. She has incredible skill and crafts dresses that fit perfectly. Everything is custom, from fabric choices to actual design, which makes the custom experience a lot of fun. Whatever you imagine, she can create.

They have great designs and it was a great fitting experience. All the dresses are made of polyester.

Alyssa Kristin is a fabulous designer to work with. I came to her to create my dream wedding gown for my wedding last summer. My ideas were a little all over the place at first but she worked with me to narrow down just what I was looking for. I ended up with a stunning custom gown more beautiful than I could have imagined. It fit wonderfully and looked amazing in all my photos. She also made the entire ordeal strees-free with her scheduling, fittings, and insights. I was able to focus on other things and know that she had my dress handled 100%. I couldnt have found a better designer and I am so happy that I chose her.
