Very tasty but small portions which makes it a pricey snack; not a full meal

My husband and I discovered this amazing place a few years ago. These empanadas are incredible. You can’t go wrong with the bacon date and goat cheese!! We love it and come numerous times on our Chicago visits! Bring back the purple potato and honey ricotta. Those were the best!!

Too expensive for the portions. Flavor is not good. Probably the worst empanada I have had. Customer service SUCKS! Impossible to eat indoor because it’s about 90 degrees inside.

A+. Amazing. Great food, better service. The ratatouille and ham and cheese stand out, but nothing was not good. Meant to take pictures when the food came but it was too good so this is whats left.

The ratatouille empanadas are fantastic, seasoned to perfection. The coffee they offer is metric coffee (which is also a very good quality brand) and the service is great!

Stopped in to try some empanadas today and they were outstanding! I had the chicken curry and the bacon cheddar egg, and then one of the alfajores cookies!! Amazing

VERY GOOD FOOD, i loved it. Im mexican and with my knowledge about empanadas... this are the best in US. But the cashier was so serious and bored lol (a woman).

So glad we decided to pop into this Empanada spot. Really appreciated the outdoor seating options on a beautiful afternoon. The food was fantastic. The Malbec Beef, Chicken Curry, and Mac & Cheese empanadas were all delicious, and the side sauces only added to the experience. The staff was extremely friendly and supportive, provided great input!

The empanadas are smaller than I expected but they were very tasty! The interior design was very cool and relaxed. And the service was quick (no line, polite and speedy server). Ill have to update my review when I try more if their options, but Ill definitely be back.

This place is absolutely delicious! We got 4 empanadas to share between the two of us, and it was the perfect amount for lunch. Their chai latte is also delicious. Friendly staff, and a really cute spot. Great outdoor seating in a little nook, and great COVID spacing for seating. Happy to call this our new go-to empanadas place!

Decent empanadas with numerous options to choose from.Both sauces were good.The frozen bake and home option was not very successful on our side - I think we got the over temp wrong as they were a bit gummy. But they were yummy!But overall if you are looking for a quick snack and in the areas worth stopping by.

Ive had issues at other locations, but love CLARK St is the best. Delicious food and friendly staff for in-and-out service.

It was my first time to try Argentinian food, it’s good, Nice place. I enjoyed the music there,I like spinach & cheese and mushroom one the mostI will come soon to try the dessertsI just hope they served the coffee and tea with a cup, not in the paper one .

I wandered into 5411 Empanadas on accident after an Uber crisis one freezing night last week. Manny was so sweet, took such great care of me, even gave me tea to warm up. I didnt order any food that night but his kindness & hospitality made me want to come back to try it the next day - I was certainly not disappointed. The empanadas are perfectly portion sized and extremely flavorful. And they have so many variety. My favorites were the spinach/onion and also the barbecue chicken. The next time I go back I plan to get the bacon/date/goat cheese. This is my first time ever having an empanada and I easily ordered four or five! I will definitely be back. Thank you Manny!! :) You are proof that there are still cool people in the world.

Overall excellent empanadas, although I’m partial to the goat cheese, bacon & fig as well as the Malbec beef!

Ordered 2 empanadas today and they gave us the new chicken curry to try for free! The wait time was like 10 minutes. The ratatouille tasted amazing, and is my all time favorite. The malbec beef was good but no wow factor. Surprisingly, chicken curry had a lot of flavor but was a little on the dry side. I love that there are quite a few tables for outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend to stop by and try a few. They also have those stamp cards where you get a stamp if you buy 3 and after 10 stamps, you get 3 free empanadas.

This place never disappoints! A great selection of about 20 baked empanadas with something for everyone. Definitely spend the extra 50 cents for the chimichurra sauce! This visit was mushroom and goat cheese and a delicious sweet/savory bacon/date.

Great selecting, service and most importantly empanadas! Ive been coming here for several years and love their large selection. I also highly recommend getting some frozen ones to take home and make when you want. A little egg wash and in the air fryer they go!

I drive an hour and a half to get these empanadas. Ive been told these are like authentic argentine empanadas and I cant get enough of them. People I know who are from Argentina say these make them feel at home.

Omg... Was at a vet in Buffalo Grove and their food truck was there. Was av little hungry while waiting so decided to give them a try. Im so glad I did!! Absolutely amazing. The bacon dates and goat cheese was heaven in my mouth... The other three were all good but Im glad the bacon dates and goat cheese one was the last one in ate... All I can say is yummmmmmm... You should definitely give them a try!!!

The empanadas are always great. I recommend trying the Bacon Dates & Goat Cheese empanada - amazing! I also really enjoy Malbec Beef and Mac & Cheese.The outdoor music was pretty annoying the last time I went there, because the speakers treble was too loud and it made songs unpleasantly sharp.Highly recommended for lunch!

Best empanadas in Chicago - great selection and variety of flavors. Good range of vegetarian empanadas, too! The bacon, date and goat cheese is incredible - must try. And don’t forget your side of chimichurri.

Tasty but small.

Every time I visit I always go for the bacon dates & goat cheese or keep it simple with the ham & cheese. Either way you cant go wrong.Wait times are almost always minimal. I dont think Ive ever waited more than 5 minutes to start an order.The place is usually has a couple people inside or out. They tend to be younger, recent graduate crowds that enjoy this place.

Its a cute place for a light lunch. The flavors are lovely but I cant get past how much the food costs for what you get. I have a decently healthy appetite, and for $12 their empanadas just dont cut it. Id estimate the each one is roughly 2x3 inches. A favorite is their goat cheese and date. Probably best for a light lunch or cute afternoon date.

Love this place. Empanadas are baked, not fried which means no greese on the outside and your clothes dont stink after eating here.It is a small space, but weve always been able to get a seat.

This cute little store front is home to some of the most amazing flavor combinations one can fit into a crust filled pouch. They also have some nice coffees you can enjoy there or take it with you. A comfy patio completes the ambiance.

Always great, and worth the few minutes. Fluffy crispy dough from hot air not oil. Great braised flavors in a easy to hold package. Wait 5 minutes before you indulge. Burned tongues dont taste the love inside as well.
