Best hardware store in town! The service was great, I felt like the staff really wanted to help me find what I needed.P.S. I also think it’s cool that two brothers work at the front counter
Always a good place to grab almost anything one could need for home repairs. I enjoy regularly shopping at this store and always buy more than I need.
This is my neighborhood hardware store. My go-to store when I cant get to Home Depot. I am only giving 3 stars based on ONE transaction, but otherwise, the only other criticism I have is that its a small store and therefore doesnt have a lot of stock. On this particular day I needed an extra key made. It seemed the young man was in training because it took him a while to make the key. I went home and the key didnt work. Price $2. I remembered the 7/11 across the street had a machine that made keys so I went there to get the key made (vs. going back to the hardware store). the cost was $9 and it worked perfectly.I would suggest that Lehmans get with the times, eliminate their key making booth in the back and install the automatic key making machine.
A good old-fashioned neighborhood hardware store.
I love my neighborhood hardware store! The staff is great, they usually have what I need, and I find the prices reasonable. If supporting neighborhood business, avoiding big box stores whenever possible, and having an old-fashioned hardware experience are important to you, Lehmens True Value is the perfect spot.
Excellent, friendly store. They have just about everything you may need. If they dont have it, they will order it for you.
Screw this place! Won’t be long before they go out of business and I won’t miss them.
I’m a frequent flyer with this hardware shop. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Surprisingly also really good prices. They usually have everything I need for my little home projects. Recommend.
This place had paper towels and toilet paper during the pandemic. Thats what I call reliable. Support this local business, I am.
Perfect neighborhood store packed full of everything you’d need! Great gardening supplies and household necessities.
This is a great old-fashioned hardware store. By that I mean the kind of stores that existed before big-box stores took over the universe. When you need assistance you do not have to walk a mile looking for someone who then has to page someone else who you then have to wait 15 minutes for that person to find you. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they arent trying to avoid customers. Another thing I like about this store is that they stock a lot of tried and true products that work well but are extremely difficult to find. I am willing to pay more for those products because I know they will do the job and I will not end up paying more in the long-run because I originally settled for an inferior product at the big-box storeThis is how hardware stores used to be and I miss them.
This is a regular, old style hardware store like the one I worked at as a kid. Extra points for being a True Value. Charles, the owner, is usually there and can help you with whatever you need. A very nice guy. The store has just about everything you need from a hardware store. Great place.
Always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. A great resource in the neighborhood.
Great neighborhood business the folks are helpful and friendly. I prefer this to other’big box’ shopping centers. I believe family owned and small businesses are more accommodating because they are responsive to the community they serve. G
This is a great True Valie Hareware store. They have all kinds of things u need. The owner is an awesome guy and extremely kind. Been going there for many years. Love this place. Will always give my business to this great local guy and store. Great service too.
Thank you for holding the door to let us exchange before we go out of town. The owner/black gentleman with glasses showed great leadership and was just wonderfully kind to me and my boyfriend. He let us come in an exchange an item as his day had already ended and was still willing to help a customer. We would have been just completely out of luck before going out of town to be with a family member and the item was imperative for the success of our plants while we are away. The team at Lehman really treats us like neighbors everytime we go in (and we are) and this is why we will continue to shop here over other places, because they get what you need, help with what they can while going above and beyond, and are knowledgeable while doing so.. but above all else, they are kind (: Small gestures go such a long way.Thank you, sir. (Kicking myself for not asking you your name as we were just so overjoyed and busy saying thank you for the kindness you demonstrated )
They have all the things you need and the staff of very helpful and supportive!
Good store but wish you were open past 5pm. I would like to support the small business owner over home depot, but cant shop here with your hours.
I live right down the block from this place and Im here all the time. They have anything you might need at a fair price, and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable.
Lehmans is a pleasant place to shop. The staff there is always ready to help you find what you want.
Excellent staff, always available & always helpful. Highly recommend.
Staff was helpful when I needed to re-anchor a towel rack in my bathroom. I had keys copied in short order. The selection may not be extensive, but I have always found what I needed - tools, gardening, kitchen utensils, cleaning supplies, dryer sheets, you name it. If you cant find what you are looking for, just ask. As an added bonus this is a UPS pickup spot when Im not home to receive a package.
I love this store. The employees are always really friendly and helpful -- on more than one occasion theyve spent a good 10 minutes helping me figure out hardware solutions for my projects, and they have a pretty good selection for a small store. You can also get basic home goods (trash cans, ironing boards, organizers..) and cleaning supplies cheaper here than at target or bed bath and beyond.
Lovely people working here! The man cutting keys took extra time to make sure that my abnormal key had an exact copy and the woman at the register was very sweet. Happy that this is my neighborhood hardware store!
No complaints about this hardware store. Its small and cramped, but they seem to have pretty much everything I need. Their key cutting prices are good, and theyll make you a new one if the first does not work.If you live in the hood, suggest you pick up a hand cart from them - especially if you dont have a car. It makes your errands so much easier!
Small but pretty good hardware store with reasonable prices and good variety of products! The best part it is so close to my home...
Everything is overpriced. They have a good selection for the size of the store. The store its self is somewhat disorganized and dark, but always manage to find stuff. A great place to get something in a pinch.
Awesome staff, I moved close by and they have been very helpful every time I went!!!
Support local businesses like this one. They might not have everything, but selection is decent for small household items, soil for summer plants, salt for the winter, etc. I go to a bigger store when needed, but its great for quick trips and a few items.
Charlies is the Best. Support them We Need them in the Neighborhood. .
Staff here is very friendly and helpful.
Small store but packed full of general supplies. The staff is friendly and personable, a small town feel with out taking docs delorean to1956.
They were friendly and helpful.
Great selection of tools and random hardware parts. Ive found what I was looking for both times I have been in, including sink plumbing parts and screen door handles/latches.
Not a huge selection of any one type of thing, but you can usually find something that will work for whatever purpose.
This overstuffed hardware store is a gem, and the staff knows a lot about DIY projecys.
Everything is overpricedno bathroom for customersLot of things are not organized
Overpriced and off brand products not of the same quality. They do carry most items you would need, but I will travel out of my way to avoid this place.
I am glad smaller neighborhood hardware stores still exist
I find everything I neef
