Very efficient and friendly place. The receptionist welcomed me and the hearing care professional, Kathryn Bauman, came into the front area to greet me. Kathryn did her work professionally, but also was friendly and reassuring. She made me comfortable in the testing booth and made sure I understood the instructions. I just received a box of batteries from them. I had just placed the order on Monday and it arrived via Fedex today. I have worn a hearing aid since first grade. I grew up in Cleveland and went to the Cleveland Clinic to get my hearing aids over the years. I moved to Chicago a few years ago and my hearing aid was coming up on its 10 year anniversary (over the ear hearing aid that somehow has lasted that long). I really wanted an in the ear hearing aid for looks and also to not get caught in my mask. Also, it was just time for a change. This was my first experience at a hearing facility, and thanks to Ava and Kate it was a great one!I am a musician, and despite often being in noisy environments, I do not like wearing regular store-bought ear plugs when performing; they tend to make it difficult to hear pitches accurately onstage. A friend recommended musicians plugs, as they allow you to discern pitch while cutting the decibel levels that can be damaging to your hearing.Not knowing quite what to expect, I was a little nervous. Ava greeted me warmly and was very kind, and immediately made me feel at ease.I cannot recommend Kate enough. She was professional, nice, and extremely knowledgeable. She explained everything she was doing every step of the way, and made the whole process very pleasant. I will definitely refer friends and family to her, as my experience could not have been better.I love my musicians plugs. They came with two different inserts to cut the sound level by either 15 or 25 decibels, so I can switch them out depending on my needs in a given situation. They work so well, and I wish I had gotten them sooner!Thank you so much to Ava and Kate for a wonderful experience and great service, and to Connect Hearing for an excellent product!

I visited connect hearing to have impressions of my ears made for custom in-ear monitors, and I could not be happier with the experience! Not only was Connect Hearing one of the most reasonably-priced option in my research for downtown Chicago, but it was also a quick and enjoyable visit!Ava at the front desk was welcoming, helpful, and even brewed me a cup of coffee while I waited! The perfect person to be greeting people as they arrive.Kate was my audiologist for the impressions, and I am very thankful to have had her overseeing the fitting. Connect Hearing at 111 N. Wabash is above and beyond! I was in Chicago for a meeting and somehow lost the dome of one of my hearing aids. Several efforts to find a replacement had failed. I was downtown so I Googled audiologists and Connect Hearing was nearby, so I stopped by unannounced. The audiologist, Kate Bauman, saw me immediately, and thought that perhaps it had come loose in my ear - which indeed it had, several days earlier. It was sufficiently deeply inside my ear that it some some time to safely remove it. Kate then replaced both domes - and refused to charge me. She was knowledgeable, informative, and friendly - as was the woman who greeted me when I entered. Excellent experience, all around!

My hearing aid, which I bought 6 months ago in Washington, DC, was malfunctioning. It was under warrantee and, although Connect could not fix it in the office, they sent it to the manufacturer (Unitron) and it was fixed in two weeks. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant and the hearing aid is working well.Had to have to “door” to my hearing aid fixed. Done quickly and pleasantly..Will certainly be back when I need a new hearing aid in a year or so.

I have been a regular at this location since 1993. Connect Hearing took over this location from private practice when the audiologist retired a number of years ago. While I miss the experience of seeing the same audiologist each year, Connect Hearings roster of personnel have provided excellent services whenever I needed an audiogram, custom earmolds, or new hearing aids. They are prompt and helpful, and I particularly appreciate that I can schedule appointments over email rather than the phone.I currently use Oticon Agil Pro BTE style hearing aids in both ears and likely will be getting new Oticons from this location (my current pair is ~7 years old). Ive worn hearing aids in both ears for 26 years, so I am a regular and usually have strong opinions about what I want in terms of settings and adjustments for my hearing aids, and the Connect Hearing staff are receptive to that, which I appreciate.

I’m from a location in another state and had a problem with my hearing aid. The service received at the Chicago Connect Hearing on North Wabash was outstanding and fast.

Usually helpful people,especially Adriane at The Forest Park location. Its nor always convenient to have a choice of only 2 days a week, and I hope that Dr. Steed will be there for a while.. The constant changes in doctors is upsetting. My hearing aids are okay, but not outstanding. Jerry Reinhart is not the patient. It is Barbara Reinhart, who is writing this review.
