Gotta say they do have pretty cool ice cream. Both temperature and flavor wise 🥶🍦We loved it and took some bars home. Just felt that it was a bit too pricey.

The few bites of this ice cream I had were INCREDIBLE. I also just love the style...ice cream bars? Yes please. Sadly though, it was so hot outside that mine melted into oblivion by the third bite (and I know what youre thinking- were you too busy taking photos of the ice cream? No! I snapped one quick photo because I felt the impending doom!) It also decided to be very windy, and most of my ice cream ended up on my pants 😆Other than the weather, this place gets five stars. Maybe consider going in the dead of winter.

Delightful range of creative flavors and goodies. Custard bars, buttermilk bars, plant based pops. They have something for everyones taste, including four legged friends! The inside is currently closed due to Covid, but the bright pink décor of the outside makes the building hard to miss.I had the Dreamsicle with a blood orange and sprinkle coating that had an excellently nuanced flavor and density

Eh. Paid almost $6 for one popsicle that tasted store bought. The environment and people are nice, but I suggest going elsewhere to get your money’s worth.

I was introduced to their ice cream bars when a famous Chicago pro wrestler gave an ice cream bar to each of the 24,000 fans that were in attendance at the United Center. It may have been a chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bar, but it was my new favorite vanilla ice cream. I just had to try their other flavors for myself. You can’t go wrong with ANY of their flavors whether it’s their bars dipped in chocolate or not. I’ve had their banana cream, grasshopper (mint chip), coffee pretzel, and peanut butter and I like them ALL (although peanut butter is my weakness). They are definitely my new favorite ice cream shop. You could say they’re the #BestInTheWorld 😉🍦

Pretty cool! Had the coffee pretzel toffee and peanut butter potato chip bars, really delicious. Our cashier let us know that everything on the menu is gluten free, even the ones with pretzel and pie bits! Made our day

Was given an ice cream bar at a special event in the United Center. That ice cream was probably the best Ive had since 2005. I will definitely visit the store next time Im in the city.

I must say Ive driven past this place a lot and heard it was expensive but I took the family anyways and it was GREAT!! NOT EXPENSIVE AT ALL!!!Everything is fairly priced and they even have different size ice creams to accommodate children and avoid wasting food. They have plenty of seating. In my opinion its great since I have different aged kids. Something for everyone. I definitely recommend checking this place out. They even have dog treats as well so definitely dog friendly.

Awesome place for artisan ice cream pops and bars with flavors that you wouldn’t get anywhere else. We loved the hand-dipped custard bars the best. While you may pay $5 for a bar, you definitely don’t feel like you’re missing anything or need more. They also offer smaller options for kids and even ones for dogs. I would definitely go back here again!

This place has amazing ice cream bars that not only taste wonderful, but look equally appealing. Coincidence or not, my kids love Pusheen stuffed animals and Pretty Cool has Pusheen shirts! Heres to reppin a local business both in and outside the belly.

Anticipate on paying upwards of $5.50+ for a popsicle that is about the size of a cellphone. Not much bang for your buck when compared to Jeni’s and the like. A bit underwhelming.

We were walking by after eating and decided to come in and try some ice cream. While inside the place looks clean and the menu is right in front on the wall. I imagine during the summer this place will not be as calm as it was when we stopped by. Once inside I got some delicious ice cream chocolate peanut butter . It didnt last too long but week worth it. It was about 5 bucks each ice cream just so you know. You can seat and relax or take it with you. The lady at the register was nice and friendly so that made the experience much better. Definitely will come back, specially during the summer.

Cool urban Ice cream show that just opened a few weeks ago. They make gourmet Ice cream on a stick. Some are just custard and others are more gourmet like the coffee ice cream on a stick dipped in dark chocolate & pretzels, or their cookies & cream ice cream dipped in chocolate. They have smaller pops for small children. Located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, it was crowded when we went there about 10 PM on a Saturday night.

It was, in fact, pretty cool. Goat cheese raspberry pop was by far the favorite.

Pretty cool has some really creative flavors. Theres something for everyone- the kiddos, the grown-ups, and if youre vegan youre in luck. Theyre a tad pricy, but youre supporting local in a delicious way. I just found out that L&M neighborhood market now sells Pretty Cool ice cream and bars. Im in luck!

I got to see them on their grand opening day covering some highlights for @logansquarist the lines were out the door. Recently discovered Pretty Cool and so far its one of my favorite hidden treasures of Chicago. I tried their Pina Colada-flavored plant pop which exceeded my expectations. Their menu has a variety of popsicle ice cream flavors and their Plant Pops make it a vegan-friendly place too! This is definitely going to be THE summer spot for me and Im excited to see what joins the menu!

Definitely try any of the cream cheese bars. Theyre crunchy but creamy, and big enough to share. My boyfriend and I bought 2 the first time and could barely finish them. Obviously, great if you have kids screaming for a treat. Id like to see what options theyll have in winter when nobodys in the mood for frozen desserts: tropical flavors shaped like palm trees to remind us of summer or their own versions of affogatos with ice cream bars melted in warm espresso?

We low-key have been hyping ourselves up for a visit by watching the Insta feed, and they really delivered.Staff was super attentive and sweet, offering up encouragement when we did what everyone else does on seeing the extensive menu, we hemmed and hawed for a solid 5 minutes. I went in thinking I was going to get the Key Lime pie-scile but ended up going Sour Cherry. Mine was the best in the group of four + toddler. My husband ordered the Buttermilk Chocolate but regretted switching it up and went home eating the Chocolate Crunch custard a much happier camper.I love the option for little ones, called The Pony, in classic flavors and specialty extras. My son loved his Chocolate but I debated getting him the Lemonade, he would have loved that one too.The decor is great, my son enjoyed the magnetic letter wall and probably would have climbed all over the quirky stadium seating had there not been a good crowd in the spot. There was loads more adults sans children then couples with kids, which was nice change of scene.We look forward to more visits this summer. Tossing around the idea possibly even getting them to cater our sons 2nd birthday, seems like itd be fun place that would do an amazing job making the dessert portion of the typical pizza party, just a bit more special.

Pretty Cool, for sure!!! I just enjoyed my first Ricky’s Coffee Pretzel Toffee ice cream, WOW!!! All of the flavors flowed in succession, it was like having a salty pretzel taste topped with a toffee flavor then with a cup of coffee at the end. So amazing and so well engineered. True flavors. Amiable atmosphere! Do yourself a favor, make sure you try it with that special guest though, laugh a bit.

These ice cream bars are pretty cool! I ordered 40 ice cream bars for my daughters side walk birthday, we hand them out to our walk by guest... all of our guest love them so much!!!! The strawberry shortcake, the pusheenicorn party, pony cotton candy, pony birthday confetti and pony strawberry ice cream are my familys fave ice cream pops!!!!

Great place, they have awesome flavors. the one thing I would suggest to everybody doing pick up/curbside is check your pick up orders before you walk away from the window. didnt realize I had one item missing until I got back home. probably was intentional in my opinion for not leaving a tip, but tbh thats on me.

Upped the ante of birthday cake for twins with the best pops in town. Customized mini pops in two flavors - blue moon with personalized train stickers and chocolate dipped vanilla complete with flamingo sprinkles. Pretty Cool is way cooler, tastier and better kid- and adult-pleasing than its sweetly modest name suggests. Grab a cooler for your special event and make it memorable. The kindness and fun of the crew behind the pops makes it extra sweet.

The pick up window was perfect, I ordered ahead and walked up to see that it was ready and correct. We got the chocolate custard with chocolate dip & custard coffee toffee they were great-fair prices and perfect servings.

They also have soda in bottles.Every week or so they have a new special pop, my favorite was the lunchbox cupcake pop, which was similar to a ho-ho as an ice cream pop.Great seating area, magnet wall with letters to spell out messages. The first time I came to Pretty Cool I got a banana cream pie bar and was fairly underwhelmed. It was extremely frozen, bordering on freezer burnt. As it thawed a bit the flavors came through better but for what it cost I was ready to never come back. Im glad I gave it a second try because the chocolate crunch bar was worth every penny. Hopefully my first visit was just a fluke.

They have some awesome flavors. I ordered the chocolate crunchy accidentally thinking it was vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate. However it was chocolate ice cream covered in chocolate. I hate chocolate ice cream but I love this one. Go early because they only make so many of each flavor per day.

Ice cream bars are good, but sometimes the flavors are lacking and because of location, there is no good place to sit outside.

I normally prefer regular ice cream to ice cream bars but these were incredible! We both had custard bars: rainbow chip and chocolate crunch, and they were so delicious. The custard inside is thick and creamy, which makes it superior to other bars. Looking forward to trying more flavors.

Fantastic frozen treat on a stick shop. We tried a few different ones, the peanut butter potato chip custard bar was my absolute favorite. Flavors were bold, custard was velvety smooth and creamy. Decadent.Kids strawberry buttermilk bar was perfect size and bright fresh taste.Tangerine truck pop was good flavor, in a hard ice popsicle, not too sweet.Inside had fun tiered seating and a viewing window into the kitchen to watch the magic happen.Great addition to the neighborhood.

Iv heard good things but was still surprised. Really cool spot. They make all the Ice Cream in House. You can even see into their working space. We started a conversation with Ruth talked with us about the origins of their ice cream. Really created a full experience. 10/10 will go back.

This place lived up to every hope I could have had - incredibly delicious ice cream with a wide range of creative flavors. I cant wait to try them all. Its actually kind of nice that they only serve popsicles because it keeps a long line moving quick! And the stadium seating inside fits a surprising amount of people.
