While the dealership was slow and there wasnt much selection, I came looking at a specific car. Test dive was great, but decided to look at the same model in a different color. The 2nd one was a higher model trim level and I fell in love! Dan, our salesman, was great. Funny, personable, understood our somewhat inappropriate jokes. Obviously, he wanted to sell us a car, thats his job, but he wasnt pushy, kept us in the loop about everything I was signing and time frames for getting all the paperwork ready. Eric, the finance guy was hilarious! Very honest, worked with us on pricing for the warranty, and had a great personality. Dan went over all the options in my new car when all the paperwork was done, and taught me several tips since this car is a hybrid. Overall, very painless, and quick car buying experience. I absolutely love my new Kia Niro!
LOVE MY KIA RIO! This is the forth KIA Rio I have purchased from Evergreen KIA. After all this time I was very pleased to find they still offer the best warranty in the business. I received an excellent trade in and was given another perk with free oil changes for the lifetime of the car! All of my purchases have included this perk. The car rides so smooth. My sister had to have her car towed there and when she called to see if her car made it to them they couldnt find her car. She called 7 TIMES! Each time, they could not find her car. Finally, 7 phone calls and 2.5 days later we decided to go there on Friday to see for ourselves if the car arrived. My sister said they retrieved her car keys without a problem and said that her car had been there but they just didnt have time to look at it. Was this not something they couldve told her over the phone instead of having us drive all the way there?! They finally look at her car but she has decided not to have it repaired there because of the numerous negative reviews they received. So she has a tow truck pick the car up from them and the car is not ready despite the fact she was told the car will be ready. So, I show up to the dealership on her behalf and they cant find the key. Come to find out, Bryan had the tires off the car and on the lift. I didnt understand this since they quoted her a price for the repairs 2 days prior and now Im being told that the tow truck had to come back because they needed 30-60 minutes to get the car ready!! AND it was going to cost my sister $155 for the diagnostics on the car. This cost wouldnt have been a problem but they NEVER told my sister she would incur this cost... EVER. Not during any of the 7 phone calls, not during the in person conversation she had with them, not even when I asked Isabella point blank, is she going to be charged and the answer was no. The kicker in all of this, we sent the tow truck away and scheduled another one for an hour later as they requested and the car was completed and parked on the street within 10 minutes. This makes us wonder if they just wanted to make sure they got their money before releasing the car.Now... Chris was the person that helped me and he was courteous and professional but it was a sour cherry on a stale cake.DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!
Don’t ever buy a car from this dealer. I never write reviews but I feel like I have to. I bought my new Kia Sorento 2021 2 months ago and 2 weeks ago my transmission went out . When I bought it the dashboard screen had 2 warnings signs when I was buying it and the sales man told me is because it was low on gas and low whipper fluid. To later on finding out that it was my blind spot and transmission. Then I went to speak to the manager they have the worst customer service don’t even want to help with the car rental or with the issue. DONT DONT buy a car here! I scheduled an oil change appointment 2 months out. The appointment day comes and I arrive 15 minutes early. 2 hours later and the mechanic was just starting on my car. They did not inform me that mechanics called in and they only had 2 working nor did they offer a reschedule date . I had to reschedule other appointments for the day due to this inconvenience. It was not my plan to sit on a waiting room for over 2 hours. My suggestion- let customers know if there is a delay- especially since you have us schedule months in advance.
DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE!!!! Buyer BEWARE!!!!! I purchased a car the end of July! A 2021 Kia Sorento! These people will be extremely nice to you so they can get your money! Two weeks later the service required wrench came on! I took it back to them because I did pay for an extended warranty. The guy told me his appointments for service was booked until October! Told me my car is fine to drive and turned my sensor that said “service required” off! Well today this car is locked! It will not cut on and I believe because it did actually need the service and they wanted to avoid the work! Now they are not even trying to help over the phone when I told them the situation nobody else available! Service department sends me straight to the voicemail! I will be returning this car. Triple A can just drop it off! They are careless and just want your money! Once you leave the lot they do not care! I paid for my extended warranty in full the day I purchased this car!! SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
This is worst kia dealership Ive ever went to. The customer service is horrible. Mo at the front desk has the nasty attitude and Byron/Brian over the service department attitude sucks as well. I think he purposely lies about the schedule so he doesnt have to do any work. Ive came several times before the strike and before looking at the schedule he says. I cant do anything this month But you can call any other dealership and you can hear them over the phone checking but this fool just sit at his desk. And by the look on his face. He hates his job. Oh and Liz..I dont know why they have her answering the phone when she cant answer not one question. Its just ridiculous there.
First they ran my credit without my knowledge then they lied to me telling me I could go to any Kia to get a free oil change. This has been the worst car experience for me and I will not be shopping with them again.

Just purchased a new car from these guys over the weekend and was super impressed with the entire process from start to finish. I called the sales department Friday evening inquiring about a car I was looking for and was told by management to come in before they closed. I went through what options I wanted in my car, left a deposit, and they ended up having the car I wanted ready for me the following afternoon on Saturday! I was in and out of the finance office and was on my way with the car within an hour of arriving at the dealer. Excellent customer service from all the staff I dealt with. Big thanks to the entire team for taking care of me, especially the owner Andy, my salesman Matt, and Maurice. Ill be back!

We called ahead of time to schedule a test drive that we drove in from Des Moines for. When we arrived the car was buried 3 cars deep, and the cars that needed to be moved either didnt run or they couldnt find the keys for. After an hour of waiting we were finally able to test drive the car. This car was also missing the passenger side mirror which they said they would ship to us in Des Moines, and they never did. At the time of the sale they told me the mirror was arriving the following Monday, more than 2 weeks ago. When I called today they said it hadnt shown up yet and they have no idea when it will arrive.
Purchased my Kia Telluride November of 2019. One year after, the door guard/bumper guards on all of my doors chipped off and began to peel off. I contacted service dept for repair. I was deferred to parts. Then sent back to service, only to be told this is an after market item that could be replaced only on Fridays when a 3rd party sales rep comes in. I have been trying for months now to make an appointment to get the strips replaced. When I call I am always transferred from department to department, only then to be transferred to someones voicemail box that is full. Disconnected every time. I love my SUV, however I will never contact Kia for help in any matter ever again. No one calls back, returns messages, or has any answers. I went to another Kia location in hopes to have the strips replaced and was told I would be charged for parts and services as that was not the original Kia dealership I purchased the vehicle from. Nothing should fall off a brand new vehicle at one year from purchase. If it does, the dealership should at least be accessible to help correct this matter.
Consider yourself warned. Terrible customer service and complete disregard for their customers. Had my vehicle in service for 5 months for a engine recall! Very time I called I would get the runaround and story about parts not available or mechanic on vacation along with every story you can imagine.It seemed like when I was able to talk to someone they were condescending and made it seem as if they were doing me a favor.The last straw was when I asked how it could possibly take so long and that a kid could repair it faster and he responded by telling me to bring my kid down to show him how to put it together.After 5 plus months I had my Sorento towed to another mechanic where they could not believe how they left the car with all the parts on the passenger seat.Believe me when I say I never take the time to write a review but wanted to share my experience with these misfits and warn others before making the same mistake I made taking my car to the evergreen Kia service department.

The car buying experience is fine. But try to get service. I called July 29th for an oil change, the first available date is November 10th. This has been a consistent experience that you wait, at least, a couple of months.

This was one of the worst car experiences I ever had everything was going good at the beginning. The following moment we get home the car is making sounds that we never heard from the beginning. We head the the dealership the next morning they state we have to wait until the warranty kicks in we brought car on Wednesday they tell us by Monday the warranty should be in. It is now Tuesday 5/25/21 now the answer has changed to we have to wait 30 days. We wore told because car was used and in the state of Illinois you can’t return a used car. Now you’re forcing me to drive a car that sound like a tractor and we don’t know what’s wrong with it. I’ll never recommend anyone to the dealership.

Every green Kia was the worst experience ever, I purchased my car 2 days ago and it cut completely off on me. I called MAT and he told me to bring it to the shop, I had to get it towed there and when I arrived I asked for another vehicle to drive until my car was fixed but he said they don’t have any for me. He also told me he don’t know when my car will be fixed and it might be an electrical problem. Do not waste your time with Evergreen Kia you will be disappointed.

Guy whined about how busy they were and made me confirm 3 times that I would show up. Got there and had to wait almost 30 minutes because the car I had asked to see was not even ready. Wasted my time before telling me they wanted several thousand over MSRP. HA! Went to Classic Kia in Waukegan and they had three of the same car, and without me asking offered a discount over MSRP. On top of that Evergreen is one of the most run down dealerships I have seen in 30 years of car buying. Run!

So I purchased a car in 2019 and summer of 2020 I took my car in for a oil change and because the service team did not close the oil lid tightly oil spilled all over my car, every light came on and my car locked. I called to get it towed and explained how my car was smoking really badly and stopped and locked on me and the service manager Brian told me he wouldnt be able to see about my car until a month or so. So I call Berwyn Kia and explained everything to them and they sent for my car. Once they inspected my car Tim Ward said basically I need a new motor or total the car because it will give me problems. So he call Kia Evergreen explained everything to them and they went and picked up my car and basically said Berwyn Kia is lying and my car just need oil. However, my car havent drive the same since and I have been calling and calling and emailing trying to get them to fix my car but they been basically trying to cover their own behinds and basically sending me on a loop. I have referred multiple people to this location and I have tried everything in my power just to get them to just fixed my car but Im at the point I think I need to call a lawyer for negligence.

I have a 2017 kia sportage, and my check engine light been on for 2 months, I took my vehicle in for service at this dealership, and they diagnose my vehicle so they say, and they couldnt find out why my engine light is on, they charged me $175 to do minor work to try to fix the issue, Problem still exist. This is completely unacceptable, when Im still under warranty. Very unhappy 😡 customer.

Waited over 3 hours and had an appointment for an oil change. Asked to have my back hatch lock opened again for the 3rd time since purchasing the vehicle from them. Was told that its no longer in warrenty so it would cost me $129 for them to look at it. Again third time malfunctioning since I bought it brand new from this dealership. So what good is a back that you cant access.

Not the best customer service I have seen at dealers. It was ok....but not the best. They do seem to take a long time to accomplish things. It is obvious why Carvana is starting to do so well. The art of customer service just seems to be lost. It should not take HOURS to get a car sold. Salesman, at times, would just disappear without saying what or where he was going. Not any customer ammenities that most dealers would have. Trying to find a simple water, for example, turned into a quest. At the end of the day, finally accomplished what I set out to. Just chewed up a day and a half to do it.
I wish I never invested my money getting a car though Kia they are really unprofessional and I just got my car and having problems it’s been 3 months and no car still paying a car note think before getting a car I can’t even get to work I’m sad someone help me

I bought a vehicle in 2019 the vehicle I bought was a Kia Sorento 2016 I requested before I took the car off the lot that they would check the oil and change it they did this a week later the oil light came on and I ended up bringing the vehicle back and requested that they checked the oil again they told me that they did a while later the engine light came on and I took the car back I was told that there was nothing that they could do because the vehicle only has a 60,000 mi warranty because I bought it used now Im stuck with a lemon

I was interested in the new Kia Stinger Gt2. After finding that Evergreen Kia had one in stock I reached out via email to confirm it was indeed at the stores location(working at a corporate chain of dealers I knew it was a possibility it may not have been in stock) . After receiving confirmation that it was there, I traveled 1 hour to the store only to be told it was not on site. I was told the manager was using it personally and that it was at his house. Terrible communication and bad customer service upon arrival. Not to mention as I was leaving I watched an accident occur between two of the lot porters. The dealership is poorly run and should invest in a higher level of customer service.

Evergreen KIA has the most HORRIBLE & WORST service department. I called in may and was given appointment on July 17 for a Oil change. I was given 11am I arrived at 10:50am. I didnt leave until 1:37pm. When I arrived Chris in the service department said the wait will be 1 to 2 hour wait because other customers are excepting the other work that they are recommending, which should have NOTHING to do with a schedule time that was given to me. I then go to Chris at 1:15pm and say your 2 hours is up when will my car be ready? Chris say shortly but I did say 2 1/2 hours. I said no you didnt you said 1 to 2 hours. I stand there looking while the mechanic is working on the car next to mines waiting on my car. Then Chriss comes pass and say its almost done. Truth ve told my car was already finished it was just sitting there. Evergreen KIA service department dont even deserve 1 star. Then I get in the car and the next service tag was Never changed and I was not told about it, if I had not looked up there. I had to go back in there and they say we ran out but they can write out down for me. Why give appointments if youre NOT going to honor them!!!! Evergreen KIA need to do better because they SUCK
Evergreen Kia has provided excellent services to my husband my son & I for many years. In 2008 we purchased 2 brand spankin new cars. In 2016 we purchased one & in October 2020 we traded in one 2008 & one 2016 for 2 new 2021s & my son purchased a 2020 in June. Evergreen Kias service department also has an awesome guy named Brian B. He has always provided us excellent service for many many years. Great job Evergreen Kia!!!

The managers and salesman are really bad! They will say one thing and do something completely different. They are money hungry. Tim assisted me I came in to view a car that wasn’t there had to wait for the owner to bring it back which he had his stuff in the car driving around which wasted my time then I came back later in the day only to be quoted a bs price Different from what we discussed and they overpriced the vehicle. No help they aren’t trying to move units there jus money hungry and want you to come in and waste time. Don’t spend money here!
No one came out to help me, the cars were all dirty, an you can barely look inside the car or even look at the price because they were so close to each other. An the outside was very, very dirty. Instead of helping me they were to busy outside on there cell phone. This was the second time there an I should have know from my first experience. I wont ever go there again

While the Buying experience I had was a good one. I came with all my information beforehand . However after purchase, my dealings with the Service center is horrible. I purchased a new 2020 Kia Rio, the check engine light has come on. More importantly my vehicle will not shift from 1st to 2nd under heavy acceleration. In regular or sport mode, it hits 3k RPM and lurches forward. I have called the service desk several times and have left messages about 3 days ago as well as today. This is a serious and life threatening situation and it seems like no one cares.

If you have the lifetime warranty with Evergreen Kia please make sure that you always check everything after the service that I recently had an experience where I complain that my front left wheel bearing was squeaking and I just went in for my regular oil change I guess they might have not like the fact that I mention that you know my wheel bearing might need some inspection point is after I receive my car I checked it later on today and found that my oil level with my dipstick was over full and when I drained it it was completely dark and that basically tells me that they didnt change the oil so they probably didnt change the filter and you know if you have again lifetime maintenance with them please go ahead and double check their work because they do very very poor work.
Im a yoga instructor in the city who needed a car small enough to parallel park, but spacious enough to store equipment (yoga mats, blogs and bolsters). This is what brought me to evergreen Kia. Walking right in, I was greeted by Pete, a manager. Benny was my sales man, and I couldnt ask for a more kind, hard working and customer pleasing individual. He completely avoids the BS that car salesmen are known for. Instead, hes very straightforward, and wants you to get the best vehicle for your needs at a price that works for you! Overall, i had a great experience and have recommended them to friends and family
I inquired about a vehicle and spoke with a really sweet woman who made me an appointment to come in and test drive the car. I was then transferred to a manager who then, for some reason decided to tell me if you cant keep your appointment, dont make it... basically if you cant come in for an appointment, you probably cant make your car payments. This comment was totally out of left field and made me very uncomfortable. I decided to cancel my appointment. I have excellent credit and my husband and I have a great financial situation. I am not sure why this was said, but I wont be makingany purchases here. This happened roughly 8 hours ago and Im still offended.
