I ordered two kites online from Chicago Kite. Bought an Osprey stunt kite and a Sugar Skull Large Easy Flyer. By the next morning, both kites were delivered to my home in person. I assumed “free delivery” meant ordinary postal delivery. Never imagined I would get the kites within hours. Amazing.So far I’ve only flown the Sugar Skull. I had it up and flying within 5 minutes of opening the package. It was that easy. Would totally recommend. Can’t wait to fly the Osprey.I was overwhelmed by Chicago Kite’s customer service. They absolutely made me want to buy again and to recommend them. I do!

Ive know the owner for years. We poke fun at each other but... He knows his stuff and I appreciate him every chance I go in to see him. Great guy, great business. Good kites arent cheap and cheap kites arent good

I was at the Crystal Lake Kite festival organized by Chicago Kite today. We only had one kite and my 2 sons did not want to share, so we decided to buy one from Chicago kite. It was around 3:30 and they were getting ready to leave (the show was 11-4). I approached a young lady wearing a Chicago kite t-shirt and asked her if I could by a kite. She had several different kinds on a table. She told me she was packing, so I asked again, can I buy one? She then points to some kites and goes those are the cheapest ones, they are $15. I asked if I could buy the other kind with designs on them? She tells me Those are expensive, $30 and above. So I ask her, is there a problem if I wanted those? (my other son had a fighter jet kite we got from Costco so I wanted something similar for my other son). She goes no problem, so I asked her for the $30 one. She acted like I was bothering her and I was about to say no thanks, but knowing my son was expecting the kite, I went ahead and got it. I did mention to the lady that I did not like the way she acted and she apologized. I am a woman of color, so I am not sure if she was just tired and snappy or if it was something to do with my color, I really cannot tell. I just didnt like the fact that she insisted I get a cheap kite while they had nicer ones on the same table that I wanted and could afford, and she was grumbling under her breath the whole time! I hate that I had to give them my money but never again!

Bought a Hawaiian Kite,came as shown & was here fast. Had 1 part I did not understand how to put together, called David walked me right threw it, Great Kite, flys as good are better than the original Hawaiian + I own an original Hawaiian Kite that I got in 1984 & still was flying until I let a beginner this year fly it, you guessed it right, he crashed it hard into the ground point first did some damage to the fixed nose, then taking it apart a friend accidental caught his foot on the outside rod breaking it into 3 pieces. I told David about it. He says no problem send it to me we will fix it.Thanks to David & all the people at Chicago Kite.

The guy running the store was very knowledgeable about kites and was a huge help to me picking a kite out for my son. Got a good education on kites.
