Defected tank top and after I bought it he’s like no returns. The worst quality products and the worst customer service ever. The old guy He said he’s the owner and he can do and say whatever he wants. Just do the the men’s room better products and great customer service!

This was a great visit. Lawrence made the right recommendations and welcomed me to try on multiple shorts. All the recommend shorts were snug and a perfect fit. I bought a pair of each, and will be back for other colors. Also, they have a great selection of fun, cute tank tops (my selection was one of pandas). By far my favorite place to shop in the city for all my gay-centric occasions (the bar, cruises, beach, vacations, etc.) They have an endless variety of shorts, tanks, underwear, swimsuits, harnesses, and labels skipped over by the somewhat stuffier Cram and the kinkier Mens Room. Heres why I love them though: As someone who feels anxious about finding the right clothes/underwear that compliments my body, the two owners could not be more warm, kind, and gracious. They always remember my name, lack the typical pushiness of boutique stores, and are just all around lovely people to host your shopping experience. Especially when shopping in person can be stressful these days.

Loved it here. They had really cute stuff and also affordable. You can try things on over your underwear and they sanitize anything you dont keep.

Great shop for finding those must have shorts, swimwear and underwear. If you’re looking for great service and apparel check them out. I just purchased a new speedo and last fall found my perfect pair of shorts that I wear constantly.

Summers in Chicago come and go but what makes you feel most confident stays forever, and thats what egoist provides, I’ve purchased a couple speedos from this store and have been nothing but pleased with the amazing service and helpful insight on finding the right fit and will certainly be back for more!

Always has the newest and most reasonably priced selection of underwear and even clothing. The owners are great, there is a loyalty card (free undies? Um, yes please), and there is a wide variety to choose from. Their online store and promo emails actually enhance the relationship with their customers too, which is rare. Ive been coming here for years and will continue.

They have some sexy underwear...a little on the pricy side but definitely worth taking a look at!

I love this place, and I feel so lucky to have such a unique store in our neighborhood that caters to men. Egoist has a really nice selection of different brands, colors and styles of men’s underwear, and every time I go in there, I’m discovering something new. It’s obvious that the owners know the business, and work hard to curate a selection of high quality products from brands such as Pump, 2eros, DJX, Andrew Christian, and more. In addition, they have a great selection of tanks, shorts (gym/fashion), and other seasonal items that you wouldn’t find anyplace on Michigan Avenue. The store is clean and bright, and the owners are always welcoming, friendly and helpful in answering any questions. If you live in the neighborhood or are just in town visiting, I highly recommend putting this boutique on your list.

Fun selection of sexy clothes, though priced a bit on the high end. Obviously, this isnt a Target, and so you get unique clothes from high-end brands like Andrew Christian, ES2, Addicted, Timoteo, all the solid gay brands. A great place to find something special for your next hot date, or night out at the club.

Great selection of underwear brands. There are a couple of brands I have not seen in any other stores Ive been to. I also liked that I always find my size right away, and they dont have to place an order.In summer time, its the place to find tons of tank tops to choose from.
