Excellent location. When items are on sale, you can buy them in person. It is very nice to have a store near my home. I love to get Tumi bags for my work.

I agree with the customer that was dissatisfied below. He was right. Good product but the worse service. This is why business are slowly having to turn to online shopping versus going into a store to make a purchase. Nothing is worse than going into a “luxury” brand store to get sub par service.The customer service at this store was terrible. I left the store almost feeling as if I didn’t want the product because I didn’t have that feel good feeling when I left. The experience of the store took the excitement away from buying a new bag.The salesperson was ok but the the rep behind the counter who finished the process was terrible. I noticed when buying my bag the stitching was clearly coming undone at the shoulder. I made mention of it and she just ignored me. I thought maybe it’s just me. Then I asked a customer for their opinion and they looked at it and said, “I definitely would not buy that one. That is awful.” After all that the rep did not offer an exchange. I had to demand one. And on top on that she did a very poor job on my monogram. I wouldn’t waste your time at this store.————————————————————————-The district manager called me to make the situation right. I received a corrected monogrammed tag and was told they would take my comment as a training improvement. I’m really glad they took the time to make it right or at least look at it for room for improvement at that specific store.
Great customer service. Parking is hard to come by in this area, so ended up parking on the side street in a loading zone while running into the store to see if they could fix the broken handle on my suitcase. Employees told me that I was risking a parking ticket by leaving my car unattended. They took my phone number and told me to go wait in my car while they attempted to fix my bag and theyd call me when done. Was pleasantly surprised when they called me 10-15 minutes later trying to locate me so that they could hand deliver my repaired bag. Thanks for going above and beyond to get me back on the road.
I am a big fan of Tumi products and even enjoy their umbrella. They carry fashionable and durable products. The store on Michigan Ave often runs sales.
While in Chicago on business the telescoping handle on my Tumi computer bag broke. Stopped by the store and not only did they replace the handle while I waited they also embossed my bag all at no cost. Very friendly folks and excellent service.
So, no more lifetime guarantee on defects. So your $300-$500 luggage may only get you a so sorry and a $150 gift card.
Just made a purchase, fan of the brand but not this store not a happy experienceIssues:1. Name plate after print didn’t look good but they claim to not have extra plates even when I noticed the drawer full of them2. Bag cover that comes inside the bag, guy claims that it’s theirs even though it matches with the bag, he obviously gave it to me but I find this extremely rude and would never visit this store again.

Worst customer service ever. Tumi is supposedly known for its unconditional guarantee and warranty on its Uber pricey products. I have always gone through Nordstrom’s for my Tumi luggage purchases. The Tumi retail and service experience in contrast was such a disaster and the employee made me feel unvalued and just a number despite 20 years of loyalty! Horrible, rude, and effectively bad-mouthing Nordstrom for giving IT (Tumi) a bad name. Shocked and will never return.
Wonderful service and a great selection of high end luggage, backpacks and travel accessories. While this was my first visit, it wont be my last.
Went there to help on repair and they were helpful about opening ticket and even helped when I had trouble calling in. You really do get better service over all from buying form the Tumi store.
