Drove to Chicago and exhaust pipe snapped just as I got into downtown. Loud as heck and it was hanging about to fall off. Tried a couple big name shops and they were all booked up. Vazquez said come over and he would take a look. Single stall family run local shop. He put it up and showed what broke and fixed it in 20 mins! I would highly recommend them over the local chain shops unless you like to pay for the fancy ads and uniforms they wear. Got me on the road with a nice quiet car again.

They saved over $362 to fix my flex pipe and did it in less than 30 minutes! Highly recommend. A franchise muffler place quoted me $582, but applied a $100 coupon. They did a very good job with my car

Brought it in for a muffler, it was quick service, which is why they get 3 stars. They replaced it with one that fits the pipe, but is smaller than the original, so my car is quieter with the muffler hole fixed, but louder than I’m use to from the original. Wish they would have given me options for something quieter. They just said flat price of $210.

Seemed like hard workers though, did some custom work for me. Didnt fix the main issue on the first try, so had to add $200. Got it done though with even a 1 yr warranty.

I had to get my exhaust repaired and I was quoted it would be $250 maximum by a mechanic. I went here to get it fixed instead and they said it was going to be $400 cash only. After doing additional research, I found out a fair price for this repair would indeed be $250. So I proceeded to call to obtain an explanation of the breakdown of the cost. The owner started arguing with me in an incredibly upsetting way dodging all my questions. I explained to him that I just wanted to make sure I was getting a fair price, but instead I felt like he continued to bully me. I picked up my car that evening. The car was fixed and I had to pay $400 in cash. The owner avoided my request for a receipt several times and finally, I was given a piece of paper where he had written down the names of the 3 parts that were replaced - not including price, labor cost or taxes. I would highly recommend going elsewhere and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

These guys are great.Twice theyve helped me out - once when my catalytic converter was stolen, and once when I needed to replace my muffler / exhaust.Both times they were able to get to my truck immediately, they quickly did great work, and charged a fair price.Highly recommend going to this local shop vs one of the chain stores.

A small locally owned shop along Western Ave just south of Fullerton Ave. Although it was not too busy, I would recommend calling in advance to make sure they have an open bay for your car.I came here because I took then chance they were related to the Vazquez Muffler Shop located in Addison, IL which I had prior dealings with and was very happy. I was right, they are related and Vazquez & Assoc did not disappoint.Moderately priced, good work (performed muffler work, great welds) and up front service. Great local shop that you should give a try for muffler and brake work.

Would never go back there...those guys are just trying to still money from you. Ill explain. My van was driving bad ( it had no power to accelerate). so i assumed that it could be some problem with the catalytic converter. So I came here and ask those guys check if Im right. I asked Jose to check if my cat converter is the problem of my car driving bad... So that guy checked and came to me and said..You have 4 cat converters and 2 of them are clogged and that is the problem...I asked him if he is sure and he said he is... He proposed me to replace those two with the original or aftermarket. i decided to put the original one. So they did their job. They obviously charged me... But when i started driving it, the car was driving the same way. So i came back and told them them the situation. So they were trying to give me some stupid arguments...like...we replaced this two but another two can be bad as well...we are just a muffler shop....it also can the whole exhaust system clogged...so we can do all of that stuff for extra money... I was literally just shocked....Are u guys kidding me.?? so i asked them if they really checked the cat... as a result i found out that they didnt even scan the car and checked it just with a hammer... i was really confused how that kind of business can even exist...totally not a good place to fix your car.P.S.i put one star rating. But If i ever had a chance to give less, Id do that

Great service and prices. Was able to get my hood open when no one else could. Did it in a few min for next to nothing. Also had brakes and rotors installed in no time. Great customer service. My mechanic from now on!!

I took my car in and they fixed the wrong part.Then I took it back in and got another part fixed. The noise went away.3 months and almost a grand later, the car is shaking horribly. Im in a different state and I cant take it back to Chicago. They had horrible attitudes and did not take responsibility for messing up the oxygen sensor warning that I never had an issue with until they touched my car. I would really suggest getting quotes elsewhere before servicing your car here.

Greatest price EVER! Velasquez wanted $580 just to replace catylictic converter & tried saying theyd have to weld a new hole for 02 sensor it comes on new one trying to charge for stuff thats non existent & already comes with new PARTS. Then he tried to sell me the entire y pip which wasnt needed for $800.+ Velasquez & sons are crooks Vasquez beat their price by 1/2 if not MORE! Go HERE HE DOESNT TRY TO SCAMMMM YOU LIKE OTHER PLACES IM HAPPY LIGHT PO420 IS OFF YEAAAA. I CAN GET STICKER NOW!

Came in last minute for a noise issue with my car and they replaced the flex pipe along with the tail pipe in under 40 minutes! Comes with a year long warranty. Will be coming again for any and all car issues!
