Great little record store. Tonys a good dude and does a lot to accommodate his customers. He gives excellent and eclectic recommendations through social media, keeps a pretty good online catalogue to browse through, and does a solid regular newsletter. My go-to shop. Avoid Amazon; shop local/independent.

This is a great shop. Not the biggest store, but the selection is well cultivated. And Tony is a great person to chat with while shopping. Hell also be willing to give a personal recommendation if you ask.

Very nice place. The store is well-decorated, they really care about Covid-19, and their prices are fair. Its nice to have a cool record store on the northwest side.

This place is kind of magic. About 90% of the time Ill find what Im looking for, no matter how random. Great prices, friendly, inviting space. You can see live music here too from time to time, and unlike many record stores that have bands play, Tone Deaf is a pretty enjoyable and comfortable venue. Highly recommended!

Not the biggest shop in the world but it is definitely quality over quantity. That is pretty hard to find in a vinyl shop these days. Also a good mix of quality used vinyl with the new which is also a rare find these days. Will definitely be going back to this shop.

New record shop in Portage Park with a wide selection of vinyl, an eclectic mix of music of various genres. House specialty is punk, handful of quality metal records, post punk, electronic, hip hop, jazz, etc. Large selections of soul, jazz, and rock albums. Some harder to find stuff up on the walls. Looking forward to the upcoming grand opening party with live bands. Check it out!

Great owner and staff, good selection, fair prices, and a fun, relaxed, welcoming vibe with couches, coloring books and even a Turtles in Time arcade cabinet that’s free to play. Love this place, real neighborhood gem. Hope it sticks around for a long time.
