Had unexpected and complicated car issue driving from San Diego to Portland. They stayed late and came in early and repairs that normally would take 3 days were done in one. Trustworthy and honest. Wouldn’t take my car anywhere else!

I honestly can not say enough good things about my experience at European Motorsport. Not only did they make time to fix my Mini right away as my wife and I were actually on our honeymoon they were the most kind, caring, honest and professional mechanics Ive ever done business with. The guys running the shop seriously know what they are doing and their work is second to none! If I lived closer, theyd be my mechanic hands down without a doubt. To whomever reads this and is searching for a mechanic for their European car wether it be a Mini like me or BWM, you can stop searching. Youve found the best place right here. I couldnt be more satisfied and my Mini and never run better.

If you need any work done on a BMW or European car do not, I repeat DO NOT go to European Motorsports in Chico! These guys had my car for about 3 months total, charged me $1400 for them to fix it which didnt actually fix the problem. I made it a few miles and took it back because the same issue occured. It took them 2 months and I got a phone call today with them telling me that repairs MIGHT be up to $7000. Not because they could figure out whats wrong with it but because they want to replace one part at a time until the car was fixed...I am not exaggerating at all. THEY LITERALLY SAID we are just going to replace whatever parts we think it could possibly be... Like what is this amature hour??? Absolutely ridiculous, so again DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO EUROPEAN MOTORSPORTS IN CHICO!

I had a horrible experience at this place. Took my car in to get a mirror fixed on my 535xi, they charged me $800+ to fix it. When I took it out the shop, not even 20 minutes later all the maintenance lights came on (check engine light, 4x4 drive, breaks, etc) . Mind you this car had been running smoothly for the last 2 months, I ended up taking a trip to Sacramento and this was the car I was relying on. Got 30 minutes outside of chico and the car wouldnt even turn on. We stayed stuck outside of town. I was able to get back home with all the maintaince light on which could have been a liability. When I got back in town the car completley stopped, brakes smoking, and something bursted under the car and liquid came pouring out.. it seems to me there is some very shady practices going on here.. the next day I called the shop the guy was not helpful, all he could tell me was to bring it back in to charge me to check it out after I had already spent over $1000 to get my mirror fixed. The guy couldnt even stop studdering when I asked him if the wiring was done correctly. He turned tomatoe red and couldnt even look me in the eye. Thats when I knew this place was being dishonest. Finally got it out to my buddys shop at Guidos repair shop and they were able to get my car fixed! I wouldnt recommend any other place in town. CAUTION: DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS REPAIR SHOP!

Excellent cheerful service...Kenny kept me informed on the progress of the diagnosis of my Mini Coopers problem.He has all the special equipment & knowledge to figure out the codes and fix it!He very nicely warned me of the expense... Tho I had suspected it was going to be a bit expensive... It was not as costly as I had feared. I appreciate that He worked me into his schedule, due to the possible seriousness of the needed repair. When I heard the engine banging around loudly & smelling of gas, and the mpg dropped from 33 mpg to 24 mpg!! I feared the engine would need to be rebuilt!!! Apparently these new cars depend on the computer to operate smoothly.Thank Goodness!Kenny was able to correct the problem!!! From now on I plan to take my sweet Mini Cooper to Kenny for all needed maintence, next is oil change!

Great service! They fixed my car in a week. Previously it had been in and out of the shop for months at Courtesy Automotive. I was reluctant to take it somewhere else because I didn’t want to pay the diagnostic fees at two different shops. I finally decided to leave Courtesy Automotive and go to European Motorsport (best decision ever). The entire time I thought it was my car that was just in terrible shape since the other location had it for months and couldn’t fix it. Kenny at European Motorsport was great at contacting me and informing me on everything about my car. When I got it back I couldn’t be happier. I finally have a working car and will definitely return to European Motorsport!

Kenny and his team are great! I took my 535i BMW here because it’s been having consistent troubles and they were very patient and helpful throughout the entirety of the process. I would recommend them to anyone with a foreign car and plan on returning in the future if anything else should come about.

My car wasn’t running and I needed to find a close repair shop so I called EM and asked if I could have it towed there and get the problem diagnosed. They accepted where other places have not without even meeting me. They notified me as soon as the car arrived and again as soon as they figured out the problem. Excellent customer service and I would go again if need be.

Good prices and good people. I went to The BMW dealer to diagnose my problem and wanted to charge me an arm and a leg to fix the potential issues after going through what could possibly be wrong. Needless to say euro motors did what BMW was going to at a fraction of the price. Much appreciated.

Ive taken my BMW to this place twice and probably wont ever need to go anywhere else in Chico. They call you before making moves to discuss what needs to be done and price. Their prices are definitely fair. Best part was how they took me in even when they were completely booked up for weeks and got my car back to me within a few days!

Squeezed me in, even with an overbooked schedule, kept me updated every inch of the way, and fixed a problem they could have charged more for, their honesty was a refreshing change. I will never use the local BMW dealership on my Mini, Kenny and staff have a huge investment in the correct diagnostic equipment, but their professionalism has won my business. Thanks

I had multiple unpleasant debacles with European Motorsports in Chico. Ill only tell you about the last.My Mini Cooper S was having some troubles with the engine misfiring.3 trips to the shop because they didnt get it the first time, 10 days in the shop and $1,800 later they STILL had no clue what the problem was but they were happy to continue diagnosing it for me. They said it was an electrical problem and very difficult to diagnose. They recommended that they next replace a $500 part That MIGHT solve the problem and that was not including labor. Again I had already dropped $1,800 at this point.Defeated my car sat in my driveway for 3 months because I could not afford anymore.Im not a car guy at all. But I did a quick Google bought some $30 spark plugs at AutoZone and problem solved.I wouldnt take another car to those thieving ass hats if I was a billionaire and have money to burn.

I would give a half star. They are sloppy and then try to get more visits out of you! Beware.

Amazing shop awith some of the nicest people around. Good rates on repairs too! Would highly recommend to anyone with BMWs or Minis, especially older cladsic ones!

They diagnose great but prices are high competitively

Service was beyond great.Bmw broke down while on a road trip and I didnt know what to do. EM fit me in, diagnosed the problem, had parts we needed in stock, and got me back on the road the same day.They really went above and beyond normal service for me and I couldnt be happier.I could have been stranded literally hundreds of miles from home and these guys saved my vacation.
