I love Joanns. Theyre knowledgeable, well stocked and lots of stuff on sale! I rarely leave without finding what Im looking for and a new project I didnt know I needed, too! I get many of the supplies I use for my small craft business here.

Never ceases to amaze me that they dont have enormous bags, at least when yarn and similar bulky items are on sale (okay, so pretty much all the time). Clean and well organized. I find theyre one of the best when it comes to being organized. Many JOANN stores Ive been in could stand to learn from the Chico store. Wish they had a wider variety of yard, such as Red Hearts unforgettable.

I love JoAnn. It has many fabrics. Whenever I need any fabrics, JoAnn is my to go place. Nice staff members too.

Very large, clientele was helpful and friendly, had just about everything we needed and then some, plus free coupons after each purchase is a score!

Recently Ive had really great help from the sewing counter people. Great selection on vinyl for an upholstery project Im working on.

Very good variety of material and crafty things.

I ask for a coupon my fhone didnt have crevice and shes was cool with me..normally I dont have problems is ok maybe next time..

Extremely helpful staff. I am in a wheelchair and even with a helper there were several times where staff asked if they could help me reach things. Good selection of fabrics.

There were no employees around to get help. I stood at the front of the store for 5 minutes waiting for a cashier so I could pay and leave.

I love that Joanns is a pet friendly store. I was able to take my pup out for the first time to socialize her. Came for supplies to make my Christmas craft and left with a few extra treasures. The staff is great, friendly and helpful.

Nice store and a good after Christmas sale, but stock is limited and I would prefer more arts and crafts supplies. Lots of fabric and the staff is great!

I love this craft store, lots of material and fun crafts.

What a surprise! I never had been here before. I thought it was just sewing supplies. I needed heavy orange thread and a strong needle for a special project. Was shocked to also find scrapbooking supplies and much more.

These guys have a lot to offer but, they are short-handed due to this pandemic Im sure. There was a lot of customers like me waiting over an hour to be helped. That is ridiculous! Hire more workers=sell more product=make more profits.I like this place and I would hate to see another small business bite the dust due to this covid19 BS

The staff is always friendly and helpful without hovering, and the fabric counter staff is willing to advise on projects. Definitely check out the clearance section and use the app coupons. We regularly save at least 50%

This store has turned into Michaels Craft store with nitpicking and excluding virtually all coupons that they put out. They remove sale signs so that you dont know whats on sale and whats not and are combative at the register. I used to enjoy this store, but not anymore.

I was just here a few days ago with my son; he is about 11 months. Throughout my visit I hear employees being very patient helping customers out. When it came down to helping me; they were helpful and friendly. They were very fair when they came to the line to cut fabric and they even asked me about my project.(which was very nice of them) I like going to the store, I dont come in often. When the lines are long every cashier gets on a register to make it go faster and they remind you about the coupons which is nice.

Every visit is great customer service. Store is well stocked and clean. Cashiers always make sure to honor and find coupons.Joanns is one of her best for customer service.

They have some of the best sales! Went in on a whim and found 40-50-75% off in almost every dept.!! The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Only for sewers in my opinion. They have other things, but they mainly cater to sewers. I went in for some mosiac supplies for a craft Im doing and when I asked where they were, I was told what we DO have is in the floral dept. Meaning colored and regular rocks you put in vases.I was there, so I decided to look around, and their prices were unbelievably high. I cant see myself returning for anything (unless I take up sewing) other than superglue and thats ONLY if they are the last store open.

They had everything I needed for my dollhouse decorating project. Wonderful prices too. Staff was available and helpful. Will definitely be going back for more.

Wished you had an outlet in Oroville because Chico is too far to travel to and Im tired of ordering online! I want to see these items in person not online!

They have almost everything you can imagine that you would need for any craft, knitting, jewelry, and many more things like quilting, sewing, baking you name it and you will probably find it there. Great place and good sales. also senior Wednesday.

Call first if you want a sewing machine. Drove 45 minutes to purchase a sewing machine only to find out its a separate store and they couldnt sell me one. Wth definitely wont be visiting the Yuba City store again. :(

Great deals if u sign up to be a member they send u coupons that in the end has saved me close to 200$ on what was originally a $300 total...think it came out to $140ish...Great selection of just about anything needed to start a craft/art project or hobby related tools n stuff.

I gave it a four star because of the high prices, but they did have different crafting supplies that I havent seen anywhere else. I got there right after they opened and the staff there was extremely helpful. I went there originally to but moreally acrylic paints, but unfortunately they really dont have a selection in that category. The store was clean and the shelves stocked.

I dont go here for frabric so I cant speek about that expierence however I do go here for paint brushes for acrylic painting on canvas along with circut supplies and yarn. So For it is quite hit-and-miss the vinyl circuit supplies are fairly good sometimes stock sometimes not stocked sometimes organize sometimes not the paint brushes are of some of the best value I found in town theyre great paint brushes and and wonderful price that beats everybody else out there not specialty paint brushes however so Michaels again wins there The yarn however is organized unorganized theres always boxes in the aisle in your way and they left open note as if you know look inside their stock here to could they dont have enough Room to put on their shelves their pricing on yarn is pretty good selection is pretty about the same as everywhere else I go here for certain things that I cant get anywhere else or if the sales better however the staff is not very knowledgeable 90% of the time they dont know where something is they dont know where to look for something they dont know if they have something and the other part of the time is they dont even know about the project youre working on whether be knitting crocheting using the circut. They just arent very knowledgeable their friendly theyre just not very knowledgeable

Just went in to ask about where to get a machine cord for my Sewing machine Cashier was very pleasant and helpful They did not have it but did direct me to another Sewing machine store

I am here often and absolutely love this store. It can be pricey but they always have coupons and try to help you save what you can. Friendly staff and not very busy usually.

One of the few places left selling embroidery items. Really nice silk flowers, little do dads to fix your jewelry and of course all the sewing stuff you will ever need.

I love this store! Need to just work here to fund all my crafts. Lol Joann is where I buy all of supplies from sewing to weaving. The coupons and sales are a huge help.

I really like this store, but I do go to the store in yuba city more often because we have family there. (We also go bowling every monday too.)

Excellent selection of craft supplies and customer service, and theres always some sort of sale or coupon if you have the phone app or sign up for mailings. Could use some more accommodations for the disabled, but the employees were happy to help me out anyway.

I am really dosappointed in this store, not Joannes as a whole. The Chico store is the only one that consistently has items out of stock for weeks. They always say the same thing...the isle is being reset or we just got truck. A few of the employees are great, they always do what they can to help and our knowledgeable. However, most of the employees are not trained properly and are not knowledgeable of products. I have been so upset about the inventory the last few weeks so I called and spoke with the manager refuses to accept accountability for inventory being consistently out of stock, Its corporate that does the ordering. As a manager, it is your responsibility to let corporate know when a product is selling quickly and you need more of it. Multiple customers have noticed.

I was greeted upon entering the store, which was very nice. I was imediately helped when searching for an item I couldnt find. I even got a great explanation on how tgeir coupon and buy 1 get 1 system works. So to sum my experience up great place to explore, learn and excellent service.

Experience was good and usually is. Picked up an online order with no hassle. Checked prices on a couple of items that the staff was very helpful in finding them since it was nearly closing time. The staff has always been very curious, helpful and knowledgeable. They are great at asking if you need anything and dont stick around or pester you of you say you dont which I appreciate.Only two drawbacks I would say is I feel theyre a bit pricy, but I think thats how the crafts world is and when my fiance gets loose in there, thats when I have to really worry about prices and if rent is going to get paid or not lol.

They think they have a monopoly over us sewers. I like a store in Reno better called Mill End, it has everything and trully cheaper prices. I also go to Walmart 1st for thread and seam binding etc...

Stopped in and bought some small wood hearts as Micheals was out. They seem to have a better jewellery selection too. A lot of good buys going on right now.

Love doing crafts and buying products...definitely one of the more pricey craft stores

It seems that Joann fabrics would rather people go online to make purchases. You should be able to get the same deal in the store as they are offering online.

I Bought Fabric here to make blankies for my daughters, I also have got paint, paper & fun craft stuff..I wonder if I can land a job.

Actually I went there with my mother she needed some crafting items and she bought me some feathers and the really neat pair of tiny scissors so I can tie my own fishing lures and flies, theyre having a really good discount right now, the ladies there are most helpful!

They say they have curb side delivery for online orders at the Chico store. What an awful joke. The phone is busy or it goes to a message. Not at all helpful for us seniors picking up supplies we have purchased to make masks to donate.

If they dont have the fabric and notions you need, nobody does! Small but nice craft and silk flower supplies.

I have had good and bad experiences here. Sometimes there is a rude bossy lady at the cut counter being agressive and trying to intimidate people. Other times its super friendly fun people.

I work here and I still love this place. Just make sure you come in with coupons. They make a world of difference. I reccomend the joanns app for coupons.

Good customer service

The first time I visited, the clerk seemed knowledgeable, but was rude. The second time, the clerk admitted that she didnt even sew! Why work in a fabric store if you dont sew??? I thought I would save money shopping there, but in the end, I bought my fabric from Honey Run Quilters on Esplanade & made up the difference in the extra money I spent with the advice & expertise I received from the person who helped me. She gave me ideas that meant that I spent less at Honey Run than I wouldve at Joann.
