Such a terrific experience! I went in looking for clip-in extensions and the associate spent 45 minutes pulling each color and matching it to my head, and even had me sit down for a demo! She was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again.

Im normally very patient and hardly ever complain but I received the worst customer service.I bought hair extensions for $140 from Lauras wig because I was very self conscious about the amount of hair loss after having Covid especially as Im a hairdresser. After having them put in my hair, after they felt and looked very fake. I washed them and then they lost even more shine and were very matted and frizzy. They gradually got worse in a very short space of time. Im currently a volunteer so that was a lot of money for me to spend. When I tried taking them back less than 1 week after buying them, the manager was very unhelpful and degrading. She accused me of doing something to the hair and said that they are definitely 100% hair. Not only was she accusing me but she was insulting my intelligence as a hairdresser. Ive worked with hair extensions for many years and know how to test if hair extensions are real or fake despite what the companies say.I even demonstrated that test with my hair and the extensions and she still refused to give me a refund. I understand that normally they dont do refunds on hair but if the hair they are selling is not what it says it is then that policy shouldnt count and give a refund. Im disappointed and upset with inconvenience and wasted money ☹

When I lived in Chico, I really looked forward to going to Lauras and buying my special products I cant just get anywhere. Kathy always made me laugh. They have such a wide assortment of Redken stuff, and now that Ive tried their Smooth Down shampoo and cream rinse on my naturally curly hair, I cant go without it. I live in Florida now where its humid, so all the more reason for needing Redkens Smooth Down. Guess what. You cant get it at Sallys. I wish I was closer to Lauras so I could swing by and get some. :(
