Before I give you my review of J&M boot repair, let me tell you what kind of boot wearer I am. I work in EMS, and Im rather stingy with my pay. I am hard on my boots and feet, and dont like to cheap out on footwear. I dont particularly enjoy buying boots every year so I generally invest a good portion of my uniform allowance into good boots. Downside to this is youll get a boot that feels great, but over time degrades and will require another large sum of money to replace.Enter J&M boot repair. Jennifer has breathed new life into more than one pair of my boots. Where I would normally spend another $300 on another pair of danners, she throws on a new soul and gives them a little TLC and theyre feeling like new. Ive easily gotten more than a year and a half out of her work before my boots need to go back for a little more attention. I have stretched the lifespan of some boots to unspeakable horrors, but I revel in the opportunity to give Jennifer my business. If you have any doubt about the level of service or quality of her work, I challenge you to take your footwear to her and let all those doubts be laid to rest. I will continue to patron her business for many years to come!

I love this place. Awesome service. Trustworthy. Straight answers. Super knowledgeable. I used to live in Chico and I still bring all my boots here (from Sacramento) to be worked on. I was here for the Dixie fire and had some stitching fail in my whites. Stopped in for some laces, ended up leaving the boots there for 30 mins and they stitched them right up. Boots are back in service and good as new. Great people. Only place I trust with my fire boots!

Came for my first pair of actual boots, left with a lot more. Staff is extremely knowledgeable, and even more helpful. The puppies are also pretty cute! A1 atmosphere. 💜

J&M 100% stands by the products they sell and actually knows a thing or two about footwear, something you will not find at Boot Barn or other chain stores. Jennifer fixed up a pair of dress shoes for my first day of teaching at CSU, Chico. Reasonable fee. Looked great when I picked them up. And she even remembered to wish me luck on my first day of school. Hows that for service? Reason why I love patronizing local businesses.

This guy knows his stuff. Great little shop that specializes in both budget and higher-end work boots. You really do get what you pay for here. Bought two pairs of boots here in the last 5 years (Carolina and Wesco), had the Carolinas fixed once, and keep buying my boot care supplies here. Id recommend this guy over anyone else in the area if youre looking for some good boots and trying to support a local business.
