Feels just like the store in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Lots of candy, from all around the world. Lots of new and unusual ones too.

Went here for a 4 year old birthday party and was not disappointed. The staff was super friendly and the children were very excited about all the candy and the scavenger hunt! The venue itself is very Willy Wonka-esque. I would definitely recommend this place for a childs birthday party!

I wish I could give zero stars but you need to put at least one I guess. The older man that works here is extremely rude, insulted me and ruined my day. If you can avoid him and this place, do it.

A must stop by when you’re in town. We always enjoy the gelato, candy, and toys. We especially enjoy how nice the people are there. They also take safety measures due to COVID-19. I highly recommend it!

I was given a gift card from my son & daughter-in-law & could hardly wait to use it. I think my blood has chocolate in it! Very nice people & lots of options. Its fairly expensive but I enjoyed every minute while I ate each of my choices.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. During this COVID-19 pandemic, they will get product for you, and encourage hand sanitizing the moment you walk in. Cute decor too!

I walked in weighing 185 pounds. I walked out two hours later weighing 300 pounds. I love this place. Lots of delicious treats. Candy, Gelato, and more.

Had a birthday party for my daughter there. Very nice. The owner and employees there were very helpful and attentive to our party! Class act!!!!

We have extended family in San Diego that were unable to visit during Covid. I was so looking forward to doing easter with the kids. I started to get on amazon to send some goodies and was like, wait no! Buy local. I contacted sweet chico confections. They put two beautiful baskets together for us and shipped them to the kids. I was able to watch them open them on snap chat and watch them hunt with the baskets with their mom. Thank you!

From old favorites, to the newest treats this store has something for everyone! Have taken my children there since they were little and did it again today. Fun place.

This place is fun, a throw back to old time shops. Has thegreat vintage candy you cant find elsewhere, has a great assortment of saltwater taffy, and by the weight candy. Some very unique gift ideas too that you wont find any where else in Chico. Definitely check out this place. Oh yeah they also have great gelato!

They have a child scoop option on the menu. When ordering the child size, we were told that they don’t have the child size cup tonight....we can order a child size, but get charged for a regular because it would be in that size cup??Again, they have a child size on the menu, but we get charged for a regular because they do not have the cup available. Why not charge us for a child size even if you do not have the right size cup available? That’s what a good business would do.

Powells while it has all the standard fancy candy of post corporate type stores, they have something that others dont ... an amazing staff and owners.It is a fun and unique place to host a kids birthday party.They have a interesting selection of sodas and old fashion candies.

Really fun candy store! I think they could use less big brand packaged candies and more chocolates, artisan canfies, bag fills, etc. But all in all, a great addition to Chico with convenient location next to restaurants (makes for a great dessert stop).

The folks that work here are super helpful, full of advice if youre looking for a gift. Pretty reasonable prices, too. And the gelato is a must-try.

I have visited this store once before but we forgot to check out the gelato until today. They had some great flavors fruity and creamy. They also have samples that is super cool!! The size small is $4 and they pack the gelato in the come so the serving sizes are really nice. The little cooke is also so tasty. overall so gooood!! definitely will go back!
