If I could leave 0 stars I would leave 0 stars. Absolutely the rudest doctor I have ever come in contact with. I wouldnt recommend my worst enemies to go and see this man.
I had a poor experience at this clinic. The optometrist Dr. Osamede Odiase rushed through the procedure that when he put the contacts in my eye he put both of them in my left eye because “he wasn’t paying attention”. Also why are you going to be putting contacts in patient’s eyes with you’re barehands during a pandemic when you’re dealing with hundreds of customers a week?! The procedures at this clinic needs to be reconsidered. You’re getting what you pay for & in this situation you’re getting a Great Value brand eye doctor.
I love the eye center, the doctor and the employees. It does not get any better. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable, personable and the office is comfortable. The vision center ordered my contacts to ship right to me and the staff was so awesome and friendly and Charmagne is a total doll.
Wish I could comment on quality of care, but never even got the chance. Based on the fact that the vision center was open sundays, I drove all the way from Redding for my family to be seen. Well, the vision center is open, but the optometrist has different hours and was closed... waste of a trip.
Gave me the wrong prescription. Also, I felt like the doc never actually listened to me or gave me time to decide which lense was more accurate. He was nice enough, just not very good.
The Dr. was very nice and helpful but not very good at keeping appointment times. My first appointment was at 9:20 a.m. and there were two people ahead of me, the Dr. didnt even get there until 9:40 a.m. I complained but the receptionist just blew it off with a stuff happens comment. The second appointment pretty much went the same way, I was kept waiting 35 minutes past my appointment time. This time I complained to the Dr. who just shrugged it off by saying he was running late. Try showing up to work on time and maybe you wont be running late! Fortunately, I dont have to go back again.
Trust me, don’t go here. They gave me the wrong prescription and had no clue on what they were doing. I tried telling them something wasn’t right and they insisted everything was fine. A year later I went to Costco eye center and they told me I had the wrong prescription and that they get a lot of complaints about the “dr” at Walmart.
I had an appointment at 11:20 AM. When I walked in there where 5 people in the waiting room. I was given paperwork to fill out and sat down. A lady walked in, asked the girl behind the desk, certainly not a receptionist, if they where taking walkins. What??? She was told they where busy and not accepting anymore. Eventually the girl told me to come in the back for the tests they do. She told me to go into this other room first and throw my contacts away. Never have I had someone tell me that. Sure glad I didn’t need those again. So I then went in the room where she was at. I didn’t see her clean the machines like they are supposed do before someone else put their face in it, but I figured she probably cleaned them when I was throwing my contacts away in the other room. Later I would believe she didn’t clean them. At about 11:50 AM there are now 10 people in the waiting room. As I sit there more and more people come in. It’s not a very big waiting room so there are no chairs available and practically no room left to stand. Now it is 12 PM. I ask the lady sitting next to me if she had an appointment and she said yes, at 11:15 AM. What?? They schedule them 5 minutes apart? How thoruogh or accurate will this exam be. It’s certainly taking more than 5 minutes to get patients in and out. The lady next to her tells me she had an appointment at 11 AM and the gentlemen the doctor just took in was here before her. So time ticks away as I sit there, more people come in and of course I can’t see because my contacts are in the trash. This girl never apologizes to anyone for the wait, doesn’t let new patients coming in know how long the wait will be and has no personality at all! She doesn’t offer water or coffee to the patients. There is a little table which appears to be coffee on it in between her desk and a chair however, she doesn’t get up and check on it or let anyone know it’s there. Eventually I see the doctor after I have been there for 1 1/2 hours. He was kind and completed a thourogh exam. When we came out I couldn’t even walk in front of the counter to pay as this guy has his kids on the floor and all the magazines spread out everywhere. The doctor had to point this out to the girl behind the desk as she was oblivious to know what was happening in her waiting room. Finally after all was said and done I get to 1PM. What this place need first off is an office manager and not some chick to just sit behind the desk. Schedules need to be set appropriately and not 5 minutes apart, if appointments are running behind call a patient and let them know and certainly don’t take walk ins!!! Let you patients know, who are sitting there waiting, you understand their time is precious and you apologize the doctor is running behind. Offer to reschedule the appointment if needed. Be aware of what’s going on on the other side of your desk so everyone feels comfortable. Remind your patients their children aren’t allowed to lay and roll all over the floor and keep you office looking professional. Assist your patients in the room to remove their contacts and place them in a container in case they might need them later. Have alcohol wipes by your equipment so you can wipe the machines down. I will not go back as it’s not cheap now days to get eye exams, especially for contacts, and have to spend this long for this amount of money on a Saturday in a waiting room. It appears getting money is what matters here. Poor Customer Service!!
I had an appt at 12:40. The dr was not with another patient and there was no one else waiting. I finally got up and left at 1:25. If the Dr doesn’t value my time enough to see me at least somewhat close to my appt time (when there is NO ONE ELSE THERE) then I don’t trust him/her to value my eyesight.
I was in tears at the end of my exam. The doctor made me aware he wanted no chit chat (small talk) when I inquired why he became an optometrist. He then told me to focus as I attempted to read letters he wasnt ready for me to read yet. Additionally, he informed me that I would not get my contacts unless and would need to come back Tuesday night to learn so I gave me word that I could take them in and out myself which I stated I could. He only gave me a prescription for distance (which I barely needed) so I still need to wear readers (I cant see anything without glasses since the age of 42) I wanted bi-focal lenses and he never even asked! Then he charged me for a fitting $60.00. Can you believe this. Do not see this guy, I hope I scared off some, Im literally afraid of this guy and even posting this.
Excellent prices and awesome customer service
When you say you are open until 8 pm you should not close up early. I rushed all the way from other end of town after work to pick up my order. You were gone —clearly left some time ago—when I arrived at 7:55 pm. Waste of my time.
Great warranty serviceh
Very slow and unhelpful
