Super clean store and great customer service. I learn so much about skin care everytime I go! The fragrances are my favorite section and I was worried with covid restrictions I would have trouble finding a new one I liked. Their staff had no problem helping me find my new go-to!

Im a huge skin care junkie and just recently visited this Chico CA JCPenneys store while traveling. I was a bit concerned at first about this not being a stand alone store. My concerns very quickly went away the moment I met my sales associate. Not only was she very extremely knowledgeable about the products, but her customer service was exceptional. I work in the Human Resources field and I could tell right away that this stores management must be an amazing one. My husband says I can sometimes be a hard to please shopper, due to my high expectations for fabulous customer service. This store went up and beyond my expectations and I will for sure stop by this store whenever Im in the area visiting famiy. A HUGE thank you to the whole Sephora team at this store for showing me that there are still people out there that care about their job and enjoy doing it!!!

I was walking by and decided to pop in and I was about to swatch an eyeshadow to see if I was interested. I was yelled at and told not to touch it.... so rude I just walked out. Now I don’t go there as often if ever.

I had to wait out behind the rope. No one was in the store besides the workers and they were all talking. Also no one was at the entrance to great you. So I was waiting there for 10 minutes and I was saying stuff to try and get there attention.Then when they let me in they were talking about stuff not for the work space. Also they tried to get me out as soon as possible.

Incredibly pleased with the staff at this location! Everyone was incredibly helpful, and offered me a lot of information throughout my visit. Im a really indecisive shopper so the staff helping me really helped solidify my decisions.Thanks yall

Dark haired girl with maroon glitter eyelids and some acne on her face was so rude it was sad. Instead of greeting me nicely she yelled next, didn’t say hi when I walked up. Acted like I was inconveniencing her by buying 120 something dollars worth of makeup. During my time in the the store not one of the staff said hi or asked if I needed anything. I had to grab my own makeup out of the bottom drawers because nothing was stocked and I couldn’t get any help. Couldn’t spend my points because the have nothing left to get. She asked me if I wanted my birthday gift, duh of course I do. Store sucks.

Employees are so petty that its almost sad. I went in recently to buy something, stood in line for FOREVER because one of the girls at the register was taking her sweet time talking. There was only 1 guy ahead of me; are you kidding? Finally get to the front and I upset the girl because I didnt want to sign up for the email list and she retaliated by not giving me any samples, despite the size of my purchase. If you want to deal with employees with the temperament of five-year-olds, then by all means, come here!
