We just got our bar counter installed yesterday and it looks amazing! They were able to match our bar to the quartz counter that was already in the kitchen, and it is perfect. We received 4 bids for quartz fabrication & install and decided to go with one of the most reasonable from Dan at Stone Works. Dan was prompt, showed when he said and stuck to his schedule. He listened to our wants and made some good suggestions on seam placement to maximize concealment. On install day, his crew Levi & Junior were true pros. They were cautious but confident with the product. They were very knowledgeable and provided helpful tips on both maintenance/cleaning as well as products and technique for cleaning. We are so pleased with the finished product. Stone Works exceeded our expectations. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Stone Works for your stone fabrication needs.

Dan, at Stoneworks, saved the day when he noticed that the quartz slabs I was sold by a design center in Chico would leave me with a large unsightly seam on my counter. I drove to Sac to find larger quartz slabs and Dan picked them up for us. He and his team were incredibly helpful and patient in getting the countertop pattern pieces laid out to give the best end result with veining and transitions between the separate pieces. The counters look totally seamless, between the separate pieces of counter and backsplash coming together, as well as on the edges. Even the built-in hutch has a counter that matches. One of the slabs cracked after they cut it (a defect of the slab itself, not their workmanship) and they got a matching slab right away at no extra cost to us. It worked out well because we ended up enough material to do a backsplash too. It elevated the entire kitchen project to an entirely new level. On installation day, they noticed the cabinets had not been installed straight nor level, but thankfully they had tricks to hide those problems. Apparently fixing other peoples problems is just one of their many superpowers. We remodeled our entire house, so we have worked with dozens of contractors and trades. Dan and his team were the most professional, always on time and had the best attention to detail of all of them. Id give them 10 stars if I could!

Just love my granite with a CHISELED custom edge. The install was a breeze and I have fallen in love with the granite I picked all over again. My wife and I are absolutely delighted with our new granite kitchen countertops, and with everyone we dealt with at Stone Works. They were all thoughtful, helpful, and clearly careful about what they were doing. Also: they finished on time. We got prefab granite called butterfly verde through Chico Design Center (extremely helpful folks there!). Stone Works adapted a countertop piece as a long narrow bar with an odd-shaped piece at the end that fit perfectly and eliminated the need for a second seam -- clever. The technology used for handling the granite and pulling seams together is impressive. And these guys know how to use a shop vac! Our living room/kitchen area had minimal dust even after they demolished a lot of old tile. Now we want these guys back to put granite in our bathrooms…
