This course should be much better than it is. Good luck if you like to hit a few balls before your round. The cart path will knock you out of your seat, and there are no coolers allowed and none provided with the cart. Its a nice place to play but I think they need new management with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

A perfect setting for a round of golf!!! Great course layout, wildlife all over the course!!! Friendly staff in the proshop and bar and grill area!! Very impressed with the drainage of the course considering how much rain has come through recently!!! Cant wait to come back!!

Bidwell is a good muni course, great staff, and nice layout. Bar and restaurant at the course. No driving range.

Fun course in a great location. Condition could/should be better, but its okay for a muni that gets beaten to death. Greens were good, fairways and tee boxes, not so much. Be aware the pace of play is glacial, expect a round of 18 to take 5-5.5 hours.

First time playing exceeding any expectations I could have possibly had. From one round and now knowing where every hole is from tee box etc it can only get better.

Greens are awesome. Cart paths in serious needs of help. Like most courses in the area, fairways need growth

A very nice, if not well decorated municipal course. Tends to get dried out in the summer.

Nice track in Chico, located inside of Bidwell Park itself, definitely get the feeling of remoteness and beauty associated with the park like setting, course conditions are above average with many trees lined fairways & greens. Prices are fair but more expensive on the weekends plus way more golfers to contend with, so a good mid-week golf course to try out if your in the area! 🙂👍

Fun little course. Good chipping, putting area. Lots of deer and wildlife.. No driving range knocks it to 4 stars. Good food.

Nice grounds and not too over crowded. Quiet and clean aside from some home less people on the outer edges by the park.

Average public golf course, fees were reasonable $55/18 with a cart. The course was in decent shape. Fairway are pretty open, trees are well spaced and greens are on the smaller side.

Fun course, not intimidating for a beginner. Would go again.

We are so lucky to live in a town where within 5 minutes you can be in an amazing/beautiful place from anywhere in town. Bidwell golf course is beautiful. Being in upper park, there are deer/buck, turtles,geese, and bobcats(rare find early hours of the day). So much natural life all over the course. Definitely check out Bidwell Golf Course if you are thinking about playing golf in Chico

I love the course and the trees. Of course my golf balls dont, but thats their opinion. Friendly people and decent food in the snack bar.

I wasnt actually golfing but rather walking along the creek which runs alongside the green of the course and behind the clubhouse... but i cant think of a better atmosphere or view on a warm summer morning than the cool rushing waters of Chico Creek!

Great public course in beautiful Bidwell Park. I love that the course is not over manicured and there are no houses surrounding so you really feel like you are playing in a natural environment.

Bro..mow the clubhouse down and start over...management team must be strait not interested in Customer Experience.

The greens were so lush well kept. They needed a break from the intrusive humans some can be.

For a public ok course this one is great. Lots of deer, turkeys and geese to add to the overview. Its fair but not easy with lots of trees, a creek and although its not all in great shape (some rough cart paths and fairways) its a really fun, popular course! Putting green available.

Great 18 hole course

Beautiful course nestled along the Big Chico creek. Has nice fair ways, the greens are a bit sandy and fast. Lots of variation in the layout of the course. There are lots of deer and geese to play through as well.

When fishing there at horseshoe lake, very popular place for hikers people working out doing walking, Oakland to recreation people with electric race boats parents children, very beautiful area!

Good course, but some holes have a lot of poop because of water fowl.Could be maintained better.

Ordered my hot dog at hole 9 and waited 27 minutes to get it at the turn. Not ideal when playing. They need to move the menu to hole 7 so people dont have to wait.
