The staff is truly very helpful! I dont know much about building stuff so I asked and they showed me what I should have and why. They were right on!

Couldnt get any service. They obviously dont need the buissness. I was going to buy a log splitter! Im glad though. As it turned out igot a better one.

Since the store went on Facebook Ive been making my way there. Always masked. Garden opened this weekend. I didnt find what I wanted outside. So I said Ill check inside. Found everything. So really an indoor and outdoor garden place.

Excellent customer service. Needed parts and the lamp was prepared. Salesman was very pleasant as he explained the easiest way to repair the antique Tiffany Lamp

We went into the store last night to buy a lighted Christmas tree they had in their flyer for $69.99, it was a “slim Jasper fir”. This morning we realized they had given us some kind of Canadian fir, so loaded it back up and went back to store this morning. Showed them the flyer, told them they had this tree we wanted on the floor and we would take it if it was the only one. They argued with me, saying they didn’t get their shipment in and the tree we got was substituted for the Jasper fir. Their prices and trees were mixed up last night and they refused to honor the tree and price in their flyer....false advertising and tricky bad customer service. Won’t be going back....ever!

I like the people who work in the front of the store. The guy who works in the back part, the pool part was not helpful at all. How about relocate the pool store to a different location, or help customers . It is a bit confusing to have two separate businesses in the same location. 😎👍

I am always greeted upon entering with friendly welcome. The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and help me find everything I need at the hardware store. I will defiantly be coming back for all my future purchases!

Nice staff, very VERY clean store. They were very busy when I went in but I still was able to find an employee to assist me quickly. They were surprisingly affordable and I finally didnt have to spend an hour driving all the way to a big box store to wander around for 30 min trying to find an employee to help me.

I came in looking for a good plunger to unplug my bathroom sink. And Alex was so helpful and recommended some amazing liquid solution( forgot the name ill post it later)but it worked in seconds, and he told me what not to do as a safety precaution . Definitely recommended this True value..Very happy customer

Their customer service was subpar from what I am used to when going to hardware store locally! Talk about being brought back in time to when people were personable! Seriously love the vibe and energy here!

Its a really clean and stocked store but i was just checking some products and kept getting interrupted by employees asking if i needed help. I understand but three times in a two minute period is a little to mich

I have price checked Chico True Value against Ace Hardware 5 times now & True Value was lower every time & not by a little they were significantly lower every time plus their customer service cant be beat! Its nice to have a family owned hardware store on North end of town.

Happy to have True Value open. Picked up lots of odds & ends. Staff are very nice & helpful will return for more stuff.

Two occurrences of wanting to purchase an item based on price at the hanger only to get rung up for a price 2 to 4 times higher at the register.The plumbing sections are completely out of sink. To purchase pvc fittings, pipe or sprinklers you have to go to different isles in different sections, very cumbersome.The worker bees are very friendly however, management may want to look at themselves. Maybe the new Ace store will be better.

Stopped in looking for a part for a trager BBQ. Only one other customer in the store. Walked in the door two employees standing right at the counter. Was not greeted or asked if they could help me. Walked around the counter twice still not asked if they could help.I finally asked if they had any parts. That was a no. Then was asked how old the BBQ was and then told I would probably have to order it online. Left store went across the street was greeted when I entered ace hardware went over to the BBQ parts got the part needed. Will never be back to Chico True Value.

Nice variety and selection for North Chico! Pool and spa chemicals, small paint and paint supply section, and of course all the basics of hardware. Accepts tap pay methods.

A little pricey for everything but still alright

The facility was clean and well put together but on the weekend nobody knows anything about pool supplies

I was so excited that an ACE was now in my neighborhood. I really missed the customer service from the great crew in Paradise. Unfortunately the management of this location do not provide the customer service that Ive come to expect from an ACE Hardware. I now drive across town to Home Depot just to avoid this stores negative treatment of paying customers.
