Google says they open at 7 but i walked down there, waited 45 mins, and then walked a couple more blocks to the next store, walked by again at 8 and they still werent open! Needs their hours updated!!!

The prices here are more than fair. The staff has always been friendly during both day and night shifts. And I always seem to win on the CA LOTTERY scratch tickets here. The only downside would be it is kind of far and away from everything.

I never have to wait in a line. Best thing is I can grab the whiskey I like then head to the register . I have never had a bad experience here.

Friendly staff (especially Dave) awesome selection of liquor. The craft beer case could stand some expansion and the coolers could be set cooler to get beer home still cold but overall its an excellent neighborhood liquor store. Free 7lbs bag of ice on $10 purchase or more but for regulars that dont abuse it it would seem to be open for any purchase.There are a lot of odd items for sale there but the best is the beef jerky. Can;t remember the name but its as hard as a rock and awesome despite being overpriced.Overall its a well run liquor store with very personable, friendly and helpful staff.Prices: Craft beer and Sierra Nevada a little more expensive than grocery stores but the liquor prices are well below grocery prices.

City liquor is Sid Stevens favorite store. Its got a wide variety of hard to find beverages and party supplies. Its also conveniently located on the esplanade and open till 10:00 pm. And the prices are lower than the supermarket.

Great place to pick a last minute snack or beverage on the way home. Large selection and reasonable prices.
