Good and reliable dont take me alot of time

Having known Leo for the better part of 40 years, Payless was the first place i shopped. Leo has been a contractor salesman in the area for 30 years and took care of me like i was family! This company is a great. locally employee owned company that always takes care of me in every way. Always have what i need, or can get is fast. Prices are right and the staff is always friendly. And once you get a job site, Leo will stop by with an ice chest full of Sodas for the guys! Super great service.

Went to the two home improvement stores in town and found subpar 3/4 inch plywood. Warped product. Found Payless Building Supply and they had quality product. Best $200 well spend.....oh and great customer service! Its so nice to have knowledgeable people.

Great Service for Contractors, At this point I text my rep, Nick, what I need, he quotes me in a short while, and gets it delivered promptly. Im a small contractor but treats me like Im their biggest account.

Outstanding staff, friendly, courteous, informative, and professional. Outstanding selection of lumber. Drove from Marysville to get fencing and it was worth the drive.

The salesman nick was very cordial and polite. He gets 5 stars. The yard guys get a 3 so overall Id give them a 4 out of 5 stars

Double check what you get here. I bought some lumber and they were like oh we can load it for you. Get back to my place thats an hour away and find out they loaded the wrong size boards. Had to come back the next day as they were closed at this point. Took a whole day out of my project and they tell me they cant do anything for my inconvenience. Say that someone was suppose to check my slip as I left to make sure it was right. Nobody was at the gate when I left how am i supposed to know. Sure I shouldve checked everything myself but from a distance it looked about right. Thanks for putting it on the customer for your mistake. Great doing business with you. Look forward to it again

Nice place. But once you find what you need you have to go in and ask for prices.

Everyone there was extremely helpful and friendly. It was very hot real early but we were treated great and the people working there were real informative. We will definitely be visiting that business again.

This is the best place in Chico to get wood in bulk. The employees are very knowledgeable and will help point you in the right direction for almost all your building needs. This is where I buy wood for all my projects.

They are the only lumber supply company in Chici that had what I needed...and at a fantastic price!!

More expensive then Id expected & took over 25 min to get loaded.

This place is so unorganized and the staff doesn’t have a clue we’re anything is . No room for big trucks or trailers . Asked 5 people before I got help . You Payless for a reason .

I bought these fencing boards from Payless lumber and as you can see in the pictures they are horrible quality. I couldnt take them back as they charge a 15% restocking fee. ALL boards had major imperfections
