Ive been shopping at Cycle Gear for 5 years now and I havent had a bad experience yet. I love the convenience of being able to order online and return in store because Im really bad about mailing items. Its also great to be able to go into the store when I want to get my hands on an item before buying, like a helmet. When in the store, every sales associate Ive interacted with has always been very pleasant, and most are knowledgeable too.

I was greeted immediately upon walking into the store. I told the gentleman that I needed a battery for my bike and he looked up the number for the battery I needed and went to the shelf and got the battery I needed. I was told about an extended warranty that I could purchase for $5.00, which I did purchase. The employees were very polite and helpful, and had me in and out of there in about 10 minutes. Overall it was a pleasant and easy purchase and I will most likely go back for future purchases for my bike.

I am a new rider. I purchased my gear at the Chico store and was so pleased with my experience. The shop was clean, well organized and comfortable, The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all my questions (and I had a lot of them). This is my go to shop for my riding needs.

They were professional and very informative for whatever questions I had for them. I didnt feel pressured to make a purchase or anything as I was there for almost 2 hours deciding on what I wanted. I ended up taking advantage of their great deal they had going on for labor day and walked out happy.

Nothing but great. I went in without know much and the staff was very helpful in explaining the pros and cons to the gear I was looking at. No pushing to the more expensive stuff. I plan on going here again for my motorcycle gear needs.

Fantastic place to do business if you own a motorcycle. I came in from out of town, needed tires changed. it was quick and inexpensive, and they were super friendly.

$59 is way overpriced for mounting and balancing ONE tire especially when reusing the existing tube thats already with the old tire. For working at a tire shop for 7 years I know thats a overkill price. Think I will change it out myself for now on.

The folks here at Chico cycle( can’t say the same for other locations) Gear seem to be always very helpful and knowledgeable( in my personal experience so far) when it comes to the sport and the products they carry, probably because most of them ride or use what they sell.Specialty retail stores should always have experienced employees that have experience in that area or niche.

Jessica was very knowledgeable about their helmets and communications products. She did a great job getting us fitted out with excellent gear.

This is definitely the best shop in Chico and the surrounding areas to get motorcycle gear of all types. The employees are super helpful, especially Richie who is both knowledgeable and friendly. Richie pointed me in the right direction for some great new adventure boots and some riding pants as well. They have a great selection including a bunch of 2021 gear. Go check these guys out if you need some new motorcycle gear or accessories.

Three stars is for the kind and friendly service and attitude of the salespeople, but in the end, it’s the harbor freight of motorcycle stores.Also, and this is critical, DO NOT TAKE MECHANICAL ADVICE FROM CYCLE GEAR SALES PEOPLE!!!!! There exactly that, “ sales people “. That one cost me $300 and we’re still having issues because I was looking for hydraulic clutch fluid and, after he “ looked it up on the computer “, I was given the wrong fluid. I know, I know, it’s my bike and I should have double checked, but I trusted the guy and I was lazy. Never again.I still shop there, but I proceed with caution.

Went in to check out some gear I had been looking at online. Im a fairly new rider and the employee was very attentive and answered all my questions. He went and helped me find a good full face helmet and recommended a different jacket than I originally wanted but I liked it a lot better and it was slightly cheaper. Very impressed with the service. They sell popular brands like Alpinestars but also have cheaper equipment from Bilt or Sedici for those on a tight budget. You get what you pay for though 😉

Every time I go here, everyone is super helpful, especially when it comes to finding parts. They take the time to look it up, flip through the books or do anything else to find if they have what I need and theyve always delivered!Also, shopping for a new summer mesh jacket was great. Nobody tried to upsell me on a Dainese or anything else, I was happy with the Bilt I got. Will definitely come back many times!
