This place is a step back in time! All the memorabilia, posters, atmosphere and of course music! To buy and sell! And theres a great little bead shop in the back!

They have everything from music incense and Beads it would be great place to stop in and take a look do not let this little fancy cornershop pass you by if anything just stop by and say hi and maybe something just might catch your eye

Amazing place!! I found a CD that is rare and that my boyfriend has been looking for for a long time!! This store has such a variety of cool things and I can honestly say theres not another store in Chico like it!! Definitely one of a kind!!! Hidden gem!!

Great place. I, literally, found a vinyl of George Carlins Class Clown album. Time to pass on the experience to my kids.

Always helpful always have something cool playing over the speakers and they always have something I didnt know I needed.

Great variety! Everything from rough and tumbled crystal, to beads and strands, handmade items and of course, records. Definitely the number one place in Chico for anything of the sort!

Of all the record stores I go to in Northern CA, this has the best prices for new vinyl. $18 is common, even if many are priced above that. Clean, organized, and well stocked. I always find something Im specifically looking for.

This record store is a must visit for vinyl collectors and those who like old concert posters. Used records always play well and are very cheap. Can’t beat this place

Great collection of classic and fresh print vinyls. If they dont have what youre looking for, they do a pretty good job of tracking it down for you.

Thought my wife and I would take a trip down memory lane and check out some vinyl. Customer service was helpful and friendly. Lots of intriguing sights. To end our visit on a high note I bought my wife a Ray Charles record to put on when she wants a break from me. Money well spent. Definitely a must see.

I have been here 3 or 4 times looking for something specific and have been unable to find it. They always offer to order, but whats the point when I can get it faster and cheaper on Amazon. They have a decent selection of used inventory, but I have yet to find anything in good enough condition to purchase.With the exception of one of the female clerks, I have found the staff to be apathetic and lacking in knowledge of their stock, musicians and bands, and hifi hardware.I want to support a local business but they make it pretty tough.

Been going there for years. I wish they sold fewer brand new records and the used stuff was in better shape, cleaner. Have a lot of good CDs there over the years.

I have a soft spot for this place. They have a wonderful selection of music in a few different formats..I mostly shop here for the store in the back tho. They have a rad selection of beads for jewelry making and so many different kinds of imported hippy stuff( bags and hats and tapestrys and knitted items).... The employees are really nice with pleasant energy and a good knowledge of the merch...this store is awesome.

Great store bomb location great old timey vibe and amazing prices. Staff is rad supper knowledgeable and plays great music while youre browsing. If u dig vinyls definitely recommend that you check this place out.

Great selection. They have cassette tapes, vinyl, CD collections. Also have a wide range of music genres. Old and New School Hip-Hop, Rock and Roll just everything. Posters and such too. Last but not least plenty of other nic nacs. Great store.

Decent selection, not great after-sales. I bought a brand new copy of a record here on February 10th which I played and found had a problem. I work away from home and so it was a couple of weeks before I was able to try and remedy the issue.There is a rough edge on one of the discs, and the first track skips, it is clearly a factory defect.I called the store on 23rd February and the girl working there told me to call back when the owner was there, which I did today, and spoke to the owner and asked about a returns policy, and he told me that I had waited too long, so nothing could be done.I want to support local businesses, but they need to support their customers too. I have spent a load of cash at Melody in recent months, and now I dont really want to go there any more.

Nice if you are stoned. Hit or miss selection with a lazy vibe. Ordering on 3 different occasions was hit and miss with a 3/8 success rate ordering Lady Gaga and Dave Matthews.
