Truth be told, it really looks like a 50s diner... We made a detour especially for them, to get the vegan Burger and have a call...We were quite surprised they didnt have Wi-Fi, but I guess thats not really up for reviewing.It turned out, that a part of what was normally served with the burger wasnt available,since it wasnt Vegan, but the price was quite high and when I saw the burger, it was a bit if a disappointment. Now... biting into it, the taste was quite nice, but in a McDonalds kinda way; it looks bad, its full of stuff that makes it taste great and the aftermath is not so fun. My body wasnt too happy with the junkfood I swallowed.I think this can be a great place to have a nice evening out with friends. Its definitely not cheap and I wouldnt make a detour for the vegan Burger, but if youre close by anyways. Sure, probably nicer than McDonalds.

I walked in with a Mask bought from The Ferry i was told it is not the right mask but he said i can buy one here with my order of coffee’s then he said we can’t accept card because of His internet problem so i stood aside and watched him taking card payments from German Customers surely a racist ……..AVOID AT ALL COST

Ambience is cool but that’s as far as it goes. Food is definitely not very American. Don’t expect the cheese fries or nachos to come with the typical orange-colored sauce, and the “pumpkin pie” was burnt phyllo dough encapsulating a schmear of pumpkin. Also, they have an “all day breakfast” menu that will make your eyes roll to the back of your head (basically just a few egg dishes - no real breakfast platters or pancakes, waffles, etc). Menu is large and everything is probably frozen.Also, there was no soap in the bathrooms.

Worst food I have eaten in a long time. Burgers were super greasy and drip on you whilst you eat. Cole slaw was also just as bad. It looks and tastes like the food has been precooked and rewarmed up. They need alot of practice to be good at Diner food. Its cheaper and taste better to eat at Burger King across the road.

The food served there is so disgusting that I really dont know how to describe it. Fries and wedges wet, from the microwave and stinking like some old fish. Burger? Meat stinky and not fresh at all, the bun not crunchy, not tasty, quality worse than one can ever imagine. I find McDonalds food awful but compared to this, McDonalds is a premium restaurant. I had one tiny bite of the burger, half of a wedge and two fries and three hours later I still feel the disgusting aftertaste. My bf and his friend share my opinion even though they generally almost never complain. On top of that, all that cost 10 eur and more for a Burger... bleh...

We stopped by spontaneously on a Wednesday and were lucky enough to get a seat. The shop was well frequented and the service was therefore not super fast, but still sympathetic and friendly. The food was great, the burger meat very juicy and absolutely recommendable!

Very good presentation, unfortunately the staff ignored us and was arrogant at the front desk. Then we left the restaurant, what a shame.

The decor is cool and sets the mood - unfortunately everything sometimes seems too dark or gloomy. Surely that could be spruced up?The food has spectacular highs (the spare ribs are a dream!) And unnecessary lows (side salad - shredded meat with sauce ... it doesnt have to be).All in all, a restaurant that you can go to again and again, but which you could make even more of with a little love.

A guest at the 50s Diner for over 15 years. In the past in the other branches, which have unfortunately been closed in the meantime, I still like to take 108km one way to eat in the diner. Prices of the location and the location absolutely appropriate. A diner that doesnt offer any hipster-modern-chia-something burgers, but simply solid American food, which convinces with taste and quantity. Hope it stays with us for a long time!

The food is good but the service is always a lot of time.Was 3 times there and just the first time (had to wait 30 minutes before we even got the card) and the last time it took really long. Without good company it is difficult to wait.Once you have ordered its pretty quick.

The American ambience knows how to convince and arouses the expected feeling.Unfortunately, the food is not very convincing. Delicious burgers with outside area. Top for vegetarians: all burgers are available as veggie in addition to a purely vegan version. The veggie pattie was well done and aromatic with various vegetables, the fries were relatively voluminous, but crispy. Slightly above average in terms of price. Atmosphere ok (right next to the motorway in the industrial park, so accordingly), the restaurant was clean and lovingly furnished in the 50s US style. Service a bit slow, as there was only one waiter in the evening, but friendly. Warm food until late in the evening - most of the restaurants here close their kitchens at 9 p.m.

We come with our US car at regular intervals. We were always satisfied so far, everything was always right.We absolutely CANNOT confirm that corona regulations are not observed. Arrows are everywhere on the floor, there is the possibility of hand disinfection at the entrance, the tables are sufficiently far apart and ALL operators ALWAYS wear face masks.

Was ok, but overpriced (possibly because of Corona).But the service was on the ball. The food had been a bit better before.Maybe things will get better after the long wait. were there several times before the Corona panic.We will try again.

Went there today for a burger meal: was delicious! On Wednesdays we were already there is all you can eat ribs. We have reserved a place for this. Opinions were shared ... I thought it was delicious my husband but did not like it. Prices are already set rather high to expensive!

Completely ok ... Ive eaten better in a diner, but it was absolutely ok for the transit. The service was good and personable, the food came quickly and tasted good, the portions good. Nice decoration, we will definitely come back here again.

In short, very tasty inexpensive food, friendly and efficient staff. 1 star deduction as the serving of food is still quite old-school. Here you could do without the serving or the abandonment of old plastic bowls and upgrade to a more contemporary style.
