Aloha! Awesome bookstore. I’m so glad they are still here. My son loves books and this place is for him while we wait for the ladies. Outside the ladies are waiting so we better buy what we want.

I love Barnes and noble. Simply because of the fact that its a book store lol However, the quite and peaceful vibe is completely ruined when staff is loudly expressing their complaints about their job. Please maintain a more customer centric experience and give these employees some more training on when and where its okay to express personal matters.

Was very disappointed in the book selection. Looking for a good quilting book. nothing in the craft and hobby section. I did see a knitting and a crochet book. But even that selection was poor. Looked in the magazines but only the normal magazines I can find in the grocery store. This store seems to be geared more towards the children now days or maybe the run of the mill reader.

Barnes & Noble is an amazing place to grab a book and read. There are so many options and they are open late. There is a friendly kids section with plenty of books to pick from. There are so many new and old books to pick from and you can ask an employee to look up a book from another store. There is a Starbucks inside the Barnes & Noble for sitting and relaxing. The employees are very nice and there are plenty of help desks around.

Plus my favorite local starbucks and like the plaza location

Great atmosphere thats very quiet. i usually come here to just relax, walk around, and look at all the books they have in stock. a starbucks is located inside so if you ever want that caffeine boost while reading a good book, its there for you!

Went to Barnes & Noble to get another pair of IZIPIZI reading glasses. Took awhile to locate the spinner rack, but once we did most of it was empty! These are great glasses and it looks like they wont be carrying them anymore : ( Just in case, I purchased 2 pairs.

Its a typical Barnes and Noble. Nothing extraordinary about it - good or bad. They are well stocked and well staffed. The store itself was very clean. My only qualm with this location is that they need to pay better attention to their restrooms. It was a disaster! I know some might say its a bit unfair to judge a place on restroom cleanliness but for me its part of the store and part of the experience.

The employees at the Starbucks cafe here at Barnes at Noble were rude and were laughing at a customer.

One of the great placing to visit and relax...there is nothing like opening a book and immersing yourself into its pages. Barnes & Noble staff are so friendly and well informed of literature location...and if they dont have it they will order and have it within days. Oh and dont forget the cafe with fresh coffee, pastries, tea, and for when youre really hungry...yes they even have pizza and sandwiches!

A smaller Barnes and Noble store compared to others because its only one floor. But it still has a great selection of books and it is located in the shopping plaza so it makes its a nice place to walk around while youre in the area.

Went in to this store for the Starbucks. I waited in line the proceeded to place my order. The cashier saw my app open for Starbucks and then told me they dont take Starbucks payment methods because its inside Barnes and Noble. So it would be nice for B&N would place signs at entrance. So people who are just enjoying the Shoppes and would like a Starbucks are aware. Because a lot of people use the Starbucks app earn free drinks. And when you have a pre-loaded app you are not going to pay with is a debit card.

Didnt really visit for the books. I came to look at their movies section. If you look carefully they have some great deals on blurays. Some titles are sold at sticker price so be careful.

This is one of my favorite Barnes & Noble stores. Every experience I have had with the employees has been nothing but the best. As most book lovers, I had purchased two books that I already had but forgot about. I didnt have the receipt for the purchase however, I had the gift card number that I had purchased the books with and I called the store to see if I would be able to exchange the books as it was within the 30 days or if there was any way they could help me. I spoke with Charity regarding my situation and she listened and provided me with a tailored experience. Charity was able to located my reciept in the system and confirm that I would be able to exchange the books and that they would have no issues in returning it. She gave me the directions on what to do when I came into the store as my receipt would be held with a manager. It was such a relief to know that I was able to exchange my books as well as know that she went one step further and told me what to do when I came in the store later that day.It was great because I told her the books I was hoping to get in place of the two I was returning and verified that they currently had the entire series in stock. It was nice to know that she went the extra mile to ensure my experience within the store would be a great one. Charity is one of the many great employees that Barnes & Noble Chino Hills has and I always have the best interactions with them. It is always nice to have an excellent customer service interaction and with another book lover.I appreciate this store so much and am so happy that we have it within our community.

Who doesnt love a bookstore? I went right when they opened and had the place to myself. It was absolutely wonderful

The price is high there. They have enough parking place there. The store is neat and clean. A service is very helpful to serve you. It is not too hard to find it. The neighbourhood is good.💸👌

I found the book I was looking for and the customer service there was great.

Barnes and Noble bookstores are already stretched out as it is. Either I go to Gladstone or one in Chino Hills, thats how far I have to go. They are very welcoming in my experience and helpful when locating books that are sold out. I have this keen thing on wanting every book in perfect condition, so they were very patient with my nit-picking.

Big location but they did switch things around. Went to the help desk because everything was different. I asked a big (both chubby and tall), blonde woman for some help and she just looked at me like if I wasnt not allowed to ask her questions. There were 3 associates by the help desk but she was the one actually behind the help desk counter which is why I just asked her. One of the other associates, named Bengy, was ready and leading me to my desired location since she wasnt. Bengy not only led me to the exact book I wanted but also made another recommendation of the book that came along with its sequel. Loved that customer service; friendly and super helpful. Coincidently, he also rang me up and he was excited and happy about my purchases which also made me more excited about taking them home.Wish there were more copies of their items because I was interested in taking other items home but they looked so beat up that I decided against it and I couldnt find another copy.

Awesome Bookstore. Would recommend the Reeses Cookie in their wonderful Cafe.

The personnel on the floor were just chatting and they are not very helpful when asked about something. They need to fire those kinds of employees, if they are not good in customer service, they need to stay home and not work.

Spacious and felt like I had enough room to socially distance! Had the books I was looking for and a few extras too! Staff was helpful and super nice!

I had a terrible customer service experience at the Barnes & Noble Café this week. I had the displeasure of being served by Brianna S. She was flat out hostile while serving me and unprofessional. They café was empty at this time, approximately 4-5 pm, and she was slamming cups around, not asking about my drink and generally being unpleasant.I am not sure what the hiring standards are at this café, but Brianna is a perfect example of a terrible employee who needs to be retrained or simply replaced. Having a hostile and unprofessional attitude at work, especially when there arent any other customers, shows that this person is just unstable and unsuitable for customer service positions.Beware when you are being served by this angry young lady and remember to file a complaint if you encounter her hostility and unprofessionalism.

Great selection, good customer service. Would have been 5 stars but got charged full price for a clearance item. Also consider announcing periodic reminders about wearing masks in the store... including over your nose.

This Barnes has a great layout- it feels so open and inviting. Great place to go after having lunch at any of the nearby restaurants.

Bought my daughter harry potter stuffy and glasses, seeing her big made my world.

The staff at this location is friendly and helpful. This Barnes & Noble is well stocked and very clean.

Amazing!!! My go to store for books, journals, language help, self help, and they have a children center. AMAZING variety of books and items. ( includes a starbucks too.😉)

Always quiet and has alot of suggestions for different readers when you enter. There is also a plethora of discounted books and knick knacks. Restrooms are also mostly clean.

Generally the experience is always great so I became a member last month. On todays visit I had my worst experience here, the cashier at check out was condescending, non informative and rude.

I just like book store, it is neat n organized, easy to find what I want.

I like the Barnes and Noble bookstore in Chino hills. The have a lot of story books and magazines and such. I like reading fantasy books science fiction books like star trek/star wars. I want to buy some different books like books about Kobe Bryant and Barack Obama.

I love the selection of books here. The layout is easy to navigate as well. The employees here are very helpful so thats always nice. Also... Coffee

One of my favorite stores to be in. I love books, but its also a place to meet friends. The cafe has great food and snacks, plus Starbucks.Whats not to love. There are many other gifts, games and useful things. Its great.

The staff will be so good you’ll be compelled to buy a book. Seriously they are a amazing staff and the store is always in tip top shape. Highly recommended this place especially the older looking dude with a beard the dude is hilarious and really good at finding what you need.

Huge selection of books. If you can’t find a book anywhere else, most likely, it’ll be here. You may also order books online if you either can’t find a book or the store is out of stock. The staff are friendly and are willing to help you find the book you need. I highly recommend coming here.

Well maintained book store kept quite and stocked with all the latest stories. Lots of parking, lots and lots of books! The staff here are super helpful and friendly, theres tons of choices and if the rate instance of being out of stock happens.

Great service, employees were very knowledgeable.

Staff is very helpful at this location. If they dont have the book you need in stock they search for you and have it sent to your house. It is well lit, clean and organized. They have a huge magazine selection. Parking can be a problem on the weekends though. Overall it is a good location.

Exactly what I expected from a Barnes and Noble. Great selection of books. Vibes and atmosphere were nice and calming.

Poor rating reflects solely on their unbelievably dirty womens restroom. Yuk! Violating several health codes for sure.

This Barnes and Noble is like an oasis--has been for a long, long time for us when we travel to Chino Hills, SoCal from Downtown New York City to see my parents, grandparents of our two NYC kids. It is very nice to have this place to mosey about in, grab a cup of coffee and gell out. We have all been very happy to have this place as a place where we can go and get a taste of our own hometown--as we live close to an amazing Barnes and Noble in Union Square, NYC!
