The first time visit, Dr.Soong and his staff are so professional and sypassion. The vision exam procedure was easy and he explained every question clearly. They are very patient and easy to communicate, so kid didnt feel fear. They accept insurance, glasses price is very fair. I highly recommend him to who wants an optometrist to take good care of their eyes.

I can’t imagine a better optometrist in town. They have a very professional and friendly staff. I contacted them with an eye issue and they were able to fit me into the schedule in an extremely timely fashion. They are also following COVID protocols and I felt very safe and comfortable. This review is for Dr. Steven Soong. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything to you in detail regarding your eye health and answers all your questions without making you feel rushed. They have safety measures in place during covid, with HEPA filters throughout the office, in addition to ensuring everyone wears a mask and taking temperatures of all entering people/patients. Because I was a cash patient, he blatantly states his honest opinion that I should wait until I am on a vision insurance instead of spending hundreds out of pocket, while ensuring that my lenses are still safe to use, instead of trying to oversell to me at a profit. Highly recommend him/this optometrist to all.

I am happy and satisfied that i choose to take my son, Jordan to Dr. Sophie to get an eye exam. This is his first time and i was nervous. From my personal experience, the optometrist are always in a hurry and do not provide a handful of information.Dr. Sophie took her time with Jordan and made him feel comfortable. She provided so much more useful and knowledgeable information then most optometrist. I felt that she did an exceptional job, gave educational information, and her staff are very nice.

Had some face trauma and eye trauma that I needed an exam to make sure there was no damage. Saw Dr. Steven Soong, he was very friendly and informative. He went through the process step by step and explain the process of what he was doing while examining my eye. It was very comforting and considerate, it help put my fears at ease especially the amount of head trauma and face trauma. I highly recommend this friendly family practice.

Dr. Soong is extremely patient and detailed oriented during my eye exam. He is also extremely knowledgeable in the contact lenses since I suffer from dry eyes with a bad astigmatism, so most contact lenses do not work well for me. His office is also located in the same plaza as 99 Ranch with a Costco across the street as well. I will definitely be back again next year!

Great service and a large selection of glasses. Dr. Soong took a lot of time to make sure my prescription and lenses were perfect before getting them to me. One of my eyes has astigmatism and the other one does not, therefore I usually end up with less than ideal prescriptions. Dr. Soong made sure he corrected for these and now my glasses and contacts fit as they should.

This optometry store is great. Very modern with new technology. I was about to make an appointment online for a same day appointment. Connie was about to help me verify my insurance which was VSP and explained my benefits. Used up all my FSA on a brand new pair of Tom Ford sunglasses! Play area for the kids was a plus! This was my second annual checkup and did all the tests with their state-of-the-art equipment and learned that my eyes are healthy even though my vision is decaying because I had chosen not to get glasses in the past. My doctor is Dr. Soong and let me tell you, he’s the most personable and professional doctor I’ve ever encountered. Dr. Soong is straight forward and never pressured me to purchase anything from him that was unnecessary. He definitely has your best interest at heart. He runs this practice with his sister which I find heartwarming as I’m all about the family business. Just went for an eye exam this past weekend with Dr. Soong. BVO offers customized service to all their patients the moment you walk through their doors. The office is very modern and inviting because of the fun color palette. They also have a really great selection of frames, including Mark and Roth glasses (Some of my fave K drama stars wear these!), which I didnt even realize they sell in the US! I went previously for an exam and Dr. Hsu helped me get fitted for my glasses then. Both doctors and their assistants are very professional, courteous, and took the time to explain everything to me. Glad to see they have not skimped on providing great service!

I was in search of a new Optometrist and was recommended by a friend to check out Dr. Soong at Bright Vision Optometry. I am super glad that I listened! Everything about this place was great and they make everything convenient for the patient. I called and was able to make an appointment on the weekend, which is a plus. When I went in I had forgotten my insurance information but the receptionist was able to help me look up the information that was needed. After I was checked in, I waited no longer than 2 minutes to be seen by Dr. Soong. Being in the health care industry, I understand that providers some times may be behind on schedule so I was pleasantly surprised that I was being seen on time!
