Love this store. Its the smallest one out of the 4 in our area (Prescott, Prescott valley, Chino Valley, Paulden). But still has a really good selection. The staff is always very helpful and try their best to accommodate your needs no matter what your project is. Prices are a little higher on some of the items though. Some are so high Ive let out a chuckle. If I dont like the price I shop elsewhere, no biggie.I do like the fact that shopping here is providing to our local community.

Great staff! Its like a general store from long ago. I found all kinds of goodies including a huge assortment of canning supplies ie large mouth jars ! Guys would like it also...nuts & bolts etc. Check it out you wont be sorry!

Very friendly helpful staff. The owners are wonderful, they will work to help you out with whatever it is you want. Just ask and they will see what they can do. Recently they have put in art supplies from beginners to professional. Be sure to talk to Brenda if you dont see what youre looking for.

I have always liked shopping local. But in the case of my yard, house, and thing associated, I love speaking to a local who knows what Im asking. Expert advice all the time.

They have some cool things in there but they are priced really high on many items in there store.

Dumped our septic,everything went fine

I wanted to give this a 5 star rating, just couldnt justify doing so. Went there a few days ago for some minor things. A few pieces of 2X4. The guy that was suppose to come out and load it on the truck ended up in the break room, with his feet kicked up. Had no pep in his step. Had to be radioed at least 4 times. Thats just lazy!

They were very helpful I needed a special nut from the fastener section and they found it for me.

Staff were nice, but the store seemed to need some organizing. One staff came up to help, but lacked some knowledge of fittings and tried to sell me the wrong one after he just explained it to me and contradicted himself. Went to a box store and bought the part since I had bought it a few times before.

Got 3 different answers from 3 different workers so werent very helpful. Ended up just walking out and going somewhere else

My wife and I came here for a part other stores didnt have. We thought it odd a cross was centered perfectly over the building. From here on out it will be The Church of Ace. 3 stars for being stupid.

Ive been going there since 2001 and this was the worst experience Ive ever had. I went in feeling hopeful about getting what I needed and came out feeling sad and shaking like a leaf because of how I was treated by the tall, grey haired older man- dont know his name thats why I described him as such. He backed away from me each time I spoke, and basically belittled me and treated me like s---. I was not the enemy, I was there for help with an important project I was doing. Wow, just wow- it was close to closing time, he kept looking at his watch, why did they even let me in??? I miss Mary and the old gang. Nathan was nice in the past too bad he was camping.

This Ace has always given me this special feeling ever since I was a little kid. It feels very welcoming and the staff are fantastic. I had a plumbing issue awhile back and the man I talked to knew exactly where the part I needed was. The layout of the store is a great change of scenery from our typical big box stores.

I love going to Ace. It feels like our local hardware store and that is nice. There is always somebody there to help. Thanks Ace!

This place is run by some very dedicated and loving people. I appreciate thier love and seeking of truth. The little trailer kicthen outside is AMAZING. The man who own and runs it is good people and makes incredible breakfast sandwiches. JUST AMAZING. Try him, you wont be sorry.

Friendly or oblivious. You never know what your going to get. The place has a good selection. And when you can get service its outstanding. I have had some issues with the counter ladies. But I think they are good people. They dont beat anyone on prices but its a good need it now place to go.

The worst service I have ever experienced at an ace hard ware.It took us 20 minutes to take care of what we needed done and it was only 2 pieces of rebar to be cut. I am sorry to say that the cashier was an elderly woman, did not know what she was doing. The customer behind us put his merchandise back and walked out. I am very disappointed. I will never go back

Great little ACE hardware store. People are really friendly and always willing to help find what ever you are looking for. The store is on the smaller side of similar store types, but for a hardware store in a small town like chino valley, it’s adequate. Lastly, prices are about twenty percent higher than if you were to drive to Prescott valley, but because of convenience and the fact that the store is locally owned, this seems ok as long as you are doing small jobs and honey do’s .

Been here twice both times dealt with rude customer service and will never shop there again. Im for supporting local businesses but this place is way over priced the people are rude and not very helpful, your better off driving to Prescott or Prescott Valley or going to A to Z in Chino, you well have a better shopping experience and get a better deal.

I am always pleasantly surprised by the volume and variety of products carried by Ace. The Ace in Chino Valley, AZ, is staffed by friendly, helpful, folks, and for RVers, they carry propane, and provide a dump station $7.50, free with 5 gallons (or more) of propane. Recommended, especially if it means I wont have to spend an hour traveling to and from Prescott.

CV Ace is a great local source for hardware needs. As a club members, we receive $5 off purchases over $25 as rewards for shopping at Ace. The are always helpful with their technical expertise. Excellent store...

Trash all over the place. A robotic cashier. He seemed bored with his job no enthusiasm at all. Kept the same voice tone and asked the same questions to 3 customers plus me. BORING

I had been searching for a specific design of sun tea jar and found them online at Ace Hardware where I could order and pay for them and pick them up at my local store. My local store is actually about 40 miles from where I live so I called to see if they were in on Monday (after getting my confirmation email) and found out they did come in but one had been broken and I was told they would reorder the other one and it would be in on Thursday. I went to the store on Tuesday to pick up the one jar and found out that the young lady (didnt get her name but she deserves oodles of kudos) had called to get the replacement jar so I didnt have to come in a second time to get the other jar because she knew I didnt live in Chino Valley, AZ. She saved me a second trip. While all the folks at the Chino Valley have always been courteous and helpful, she went way above what I would have expected (I sincerely wish I had gotten her name) and I wanted everyone to know that there are still places and people will treat everyone as if they were their only customer. 10 stars to Arizona General Ace Hardware in Chino Valley and give that young lady a raise!!!

Pretty decent place, helpful people. Wish the prices were a touch better. Only go here for the fact that it is close, otherwise I would run to Walmart to save $ on my tapes and glues and such things.

I have a awesome experience every time I go into a ACE Hardware store.. even if they dont have exactly what I need I always leave happy because they make sure I leave with something that will at least work and do what it is Im there to get done. Another one in Chino Valley is awesome service and the one in Prescott Valley AZ awesome service havent been to any others.

Needed a T-POST puller. Looked all over town and on a when decided I would check out Ace hardware. I should have went there first I knew better they had exactly what I was looking for at a better price than the big box stores are trying to charge me so that they can order it and have it shipped in in about 14 days or more. should always be the first place to go if youre looking for something to fix a home, ranch, farm, or barn.

This is why we love our Ace Hardware, Chino Valley. This is why I get all my hardware needs at Ace, rather than Wal-Mart.Last night we short circuited...that means no TV today. This is the first Sunday of the NFL season, so this is obviously a crisis situation. I found the breaker box, but nothing seemed to work. Being a retired truck driver, my only concern at this point, besides football, was not electrocuting myself. I figured I would miss football, and have to get a $50 service call Monday.Then I thought....why not call Ace. A very nice lady answered the phone...I told her I needed an electronics expert...and she put Robert on. Even though it was a busy afternoon, he patiently listened to my problem. He told me I needed to flick the soft breakers...it worked like a charm.Come on folks...who at Home Depot or Lowes is going to answer the phone. Who at Wal Mart can help you with your problems. Maybe prices are higher at Ace, frankly I dont know, but it is their service and expertise that makes me a loyal customer.
