Everything about the free quote, scheduling and install went relatively smoothly. However, there was a hiccup with the install and a little trouble trying to coordinate with them to fix their installation after part of it had failed.--------------Update ----------------After speaking with one of the owners concerning the issue they came out the following week to fix the problem. Second time around the techs came out, were respectful (they were the first time too), and did a professional job. The original problem I was concerned about is taken care of and the install looks great. Nice and clean. The owner gave me his personal number and asked that I contact him if I have any issues going into the future. He also thanked me for my original feedback and got me taken care of. It was nice that he was easy to talk to get the repair fixed. Stuff like this can be awkward but they made it pretty painless which was good for my introverted style.After talking to the owner and everything else I got the feeling that this Metz location has a mom and pop style and feel about them despite their corporate name. I think that it was a combination of a busy season and COVID-19 that created the isolated incident.Despite the hiccup I am happy with their final work. Second is much better!--------------Update --------------------------------Old Review----------------A previous contractor did a hack job creating a transition from the AC into the attic. The AC blew apart the transition made of plenum/foam boards that funneled the air into the attic due to the massive airflow. This was the main problem we wanted Metz to handle in the first place. After they came out for the estimate we agreed that it would be easier for the techs to create a good transition if we got the duct work done also which was an additional $2-3k. I know nothing about HVAC so I trusted them to know what good was and to implement that solution. They came and did their work and were professional but when there were done I was surprised to find that they repeated the exact mistake the original contractor did. They installed the same foam boards but only with more tape and sealant (see photos). They came out on a Friday and the boards, tape and seal they put in didnt even last the weekend.Fine, no problem. I paid for this to be done right so Ill give them a call and let them know. One of the owners came out, he was also professional, and said they were obsessed about their work which was nice to hear. Things happen sometimes so no problem. He took a look and said that the transition should have been done in metal due to the size of the AC and then took measurements to have a metal transition made. He said he would talk to the supervising tech that came out for the original estimate and they would be in touch.I hadnt gotten a call back yet, and a more than reasonable amount of time had past, so I called the main office to see what was up. They said theyd have the owner or someone call me back. I got a call back the next day (today) from the super who did the estimate and he repeated some of what the owner had told me two weeks earlier but they clearly were not in sync. He then tried to tell me it would cost me an additional $600 to do the metal transition which was very similar in price to do the original work for this part of the HVAC service. I didnt appreciate that since the owner said that they would take care of it and do it right.----------------Old Review----------------

This was the first time having AC issues and first time using Metz Air and do not regret it. Every person I dealt with was professional and personable. From the scheduling personnel to the techs and even the billing rep were all very nice. The techs were very informative and patient with all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend their services; they are responsive, quick, and pricing is competitive.

We had Metz do a complete system replacement with new Trane furnace, AC, duct work, air scrubbers as well a split ductless system for an office. We can’t recommend Metz highly enough. Their attention to detail was simply amazing. This replaced a 17 year old system and the house, which we only bought last year, had that musty “old-house” smell. Not even 24 hours after the new system has been turned on, that musty smell is completely gone. Jacob, Murray and Short Stuff (Anthony) were awesome, their workmanship is highly commendable and they should be proud of the work they do. We simply can’t thank them enough. Not once did they assume they knew what we wanted, they always checked with us to make sure it was right, explaining everything along the way. Very professional and polite. And to top it all off, of all the bids we received (and there were several), Metz was the best! You cannot go wrong with Metz, your experience WILL be the best!

Metz Air Control replaced my 30 years old dying AC and furnace unit with a Trane energy efficient unit. The process from estimate to install was very smooth. Chris Ponce explained the differences with all the models. He even went out of his way trying to temporary get my old system running while waiting for installation date. The installation crew was very professional, David and two other technicians came on time and also replaced all the old air ducts and vents. They tested and show me how to operate the new system. Great experience! I used Metz last summer for an AC repair, and knew when my 35-year old AC needed to be replaced, I would use them again. They ball park quoted me a couple thousand less than a large competing business. When it came time to replace, one year later, the actual price was still within the quote range, less actually. Installation was great, the crew was on time, and I’m loving my new unit. Trustworthy and reliable!

Now these days it is hard to find companies that has high standard and willing to help customers like it used to be. Most companies now just looking for a quick bucks with moral standards and bad attitudes. When I called Metz the ladies that answers the phone were very nice and helpful. The service tech named Brian calls before he shows up asked me questions and walked me through couple things to check. I was able to fixed the AC the first time. And when I called the second times he was very helpful and professional unlike other companies just want to show up and charge you. By no mean I believe companies deserves to be paid but they need to fulfill their responsibilities by getting the job done correctly and not doing patch up work hoping customers doesn’t know. Metz installed a brand new air conditioning system in our 95-year-old house. They did an amazing job. High quality work and attention to detail, both inside with the registers and outside with the installation of the condensing unit. Installation personnel were very friendly and courteous, and cleaned up very thoroughly after they were done working every day. So happy we chose them. I do a lot of my own work on my house, so when I do hire someone, my expectations are very high. The Metz crew not only exceeded my expectations, they blew me away with the extremely high quality of their work. Guess I can’t say enough about how great they are. They are five-star for a reason.

Bryan came out to our home to discuss the issue we were having with our AC unit and gave us the options to either repair a 30+ year old unit or replace with a newer, more efficient unit. I was expecting to replace the unit anyway and of course it made sense to do so. Bryan quickly sent me a quote online and everything was completed about 2 weeks later. The installation guys were very professional, polite and knew what they were doing. They were respectful of us and our property. After installation, we were shown everything that was done and given some guidance on doing some self-maintenance to help keep the unit running efficiently. The whole process from acquiring service to billing was very smooth. The crew that came to clean the duct inside my home were professional and thorough. They went up to the roof and seal the gap on the connection between the duct and the a/c unit and cleaned dead bees around it. They know what theyre doing.

Reason why I use Metz Business is because they are so honest. There employees are very, knowledgeable, and honest. My AC is 30 years old. Gabriel was here for a while to repair my AC. He tried different things. I was going to put 2 pounds of frion, because it was very low. He told me, he would not recommend me putting frion. Compressor is really working really hard, no tell when it is going to give out. Best thing for you would be to replacing the unit. I told him, I did not have the money. He understood. The only issue I had was with the cost of the capacitor installation and refrigerant replenishing, was a bit pricey. Overall was great service though. Armando took his time with the job and was very knowledgeable in HVAC systems.He answered other questions I had promptly and intelligently.

We were introduced to Metz via a Contractor who assisted with another job at our home, which necessitated that a vent be moved. We were impressed with their punctuality and professionalism. Since our AC unit was pretty old we decided to find out what they could offer us. Jorge came out to our home, listened to our needs and offered a proposal. A crew arrived on the day of service, and although young, they were extremely professional and polite-introducing themselves by name (as a retired teacher this is something I used to stress the importance of with my HS students). They worked steadily to complete the job in one day as proposed in the contract. Best AC company I have ever had work on AC. On their initial $77 visit to my home in Upland actually got unit to start cooling, and thoroughly explained the problems and options. Did not try to sell me a new system. I chose to rehab my unit and I am very impressed with all the work they did. They even discovered a problem with my venting inside and fixed that too. Even though I know I was not a huge job they fit me right in their schedule within the week. I’ve heard other companies won’t even talk to you until August! A true honest and professional company.

Metz came out June 2020 to fix my AC. The guys that came were friendly and knowledgeable. They got the AC repaired in a timely manner. Armando from Metz performed annual maintenance checkup and replaced our HVAC filter. System check revealed that a key capacitor was under spec even though AC was still, surprisingly working. Replaced the part, which no doubt prevented an untimely AC problem in the future.I will continue using Metz. They’re pricing is fair and they’re on time and always professional.

I had explained that my AC unit was working intermittently. Randomly shutting off, while the thermostat was still showing that it was cooling. The technician looked at the physical outside unit, making several calls, and looking like he couldnt figure out the problem (of course it was functioning at the time he came). He came into house and asked a bunch of questions about the problem, setting as he couldnt see any issues and it was working - totally get it. But he kept asking the same questions, I kept answering the same answers. I told him when it stopped working, nothing was on at all. He did he didnt know if it was the thermostat or the fan up in the attic. When I asked if he wanted to go take a look in the attic, he did no - he didnt know what he was looking for? I didnt understand why he wouldnt just go take a look. But he was noticeably frustrated that there was no evident issue. I told him thats why we called. He said he guessed it was the thermostat? To further take a look, he wanted to remove the unit off the wall. He pried it off the wall before realizing it detached, causing the anchor to yank out of the wall, and tons of drywall fragments to fall on my floor. He basically was like Oops, and continued to look at the unit. He had no idea what the problem was, so said he thinks it was a scheduling issue with the thermostat? I said weve lived here for 2.5yrs, never had an issue... why now. He said he didnt know. I asked why it would shut off if it was a schedule, but still show like it was on and trying to cool while the house got hot...he said he didnt know, I needed to take a video or picture of the problem? I told him there wasnt anything to video? He said he was going to reset my schedule (that we never set anyway) because he was trying to find some kind of solution but he didnt know the problem. I could tell he was frustrated and wasnt overly courteous with me - I told him I understood that we both didnt know why this malfunction was happening, which is why I called. No solution. He went to charge me and asked for $88, when I was told by the office person it would be $77. He was like, oh they told you that? And changed it to $77. I had to ask for my receipt so I had some sort of accounting of the money being taken since he just took my credit card and was typing into his phone. I guess I was frustrated by not having any results, the somewhat condescending manner in which the tech spoke to me, the difference in price quoting, and the brutish was he handled my equipment. It wasnt a horrible experience, but Ive definitely dealt with better AC technicians who were actually willing to investigate all my equipment to try and diagnose an issue.

Still leaked after he came out. Have not called them back to let them know.

Got refered to this business. Ended up paying $65 for 10 minutes worth of work. The guy turned off my unit and never bothered to go past the box and furnace area.....got a second opinion and they could not understand what the problem was to do a routine maintenance. He never even stepped foot in the house to listen to the ac. Ended up with a $1800+ estimate when all I needed was maintenance for my unit.

Hes professional, honest, and compared to other HVAC companies I contacted in the Anaheim/Chino/Yorba Linda area, hes the only one even worth calling. Metz installed my heater the following day after several companies assigned by Old Republic Home Warranty could not come through in 2 weeks. I requested Old Republic to assign the job to them so they can install my heater after enduring 57 degrees of bitter cold temperature inside my house for over 2 week. One company said carbon monoxide leak in the garage doesnt matter since I dont sleep in the garage anyway. One Stop Heat and Air received the equipment on January 2 but have other jobs ahead of me so I was rudely told to wait another 8 days! The installers of Metz were very professional and cleaned up after the work was done and waited to see if work was satisfactory. What a difference!

We were very pleased with this company. We moved into an older house and all the ducts needed to be replaced. They gave us honest and clear feedback about the damaged ducts, old damage from rodents and some ducts were even connected. They worked hard and got the job done in one day. They also replaced out filter and all the grates (vents). Very professional, great communication.

Brian quoted a reasonable price for a good unit. He didnt push for a more expensive unit and explained what was needed to fulfill our needs. His two guys Chris and Ryan were professional and respectful. They did a high quality job installing the new Trane unit. It looks very neat and tidy and is much quieter than our old system. The crew of 2 were prompt & deliberate on replacing the old unit & able to use it. They were very commendable.

At first I was disappointed with this service because we got a brand new heating system and when it came on it banged really loud it woke up my husband, the person we talked to said it was normal well I didnt agree and it continued getting louder and it became a nuisance . We called again and my husband told the person he didnt think it was normal. So out comes Chris from like 3:00 pm to 6 pm he adjusted it so that it comes on but doesnt scare the heck out of you! As a landlord who wants the best for my tenants and my wallet I have found the best of both worlds with Metz Air Control. On a previous home I made the mistake of going with the wrong company. I purchase a good unit at a good price but it took that company almost a year with multiple re-inspections to finally pass inspection. Mr. Pedro Peralta with Metz Air Control not only gave me the best deal in town but the work done on the home even impressed the City inspector. The attention to detail and the overall quality of the work had the inspector asking who did the work. Jorge came to give our ac an annual inspection. Showed me potential problems that may be coming up with our 14 year old unit. Updated us on current government restrictions and requirements too. Jorge has always been professional and knowledgeable with us and our family. Love Jorge!

They were very responsive and their technicians were polite and explained everything along the way. Once inside the house they were very clean and careful.This is a second review of Metz. They came today with two technicians and tried to find the reason the downstairs hvac wasn’t heating. The system worked fine with no issues. They were here for 15 minutes and didn’t charge us for a show-up fee. Can’t speak highly enough for them.

They replaced my whole system, they were very professional, the 3 techs that came to do the work stayed as late as needed to have the system working to their standards ( very good standards) everyone that I dealt with was easy to communicate and attentive to my questions, I would definitely use their services in the future.
