Was there to look at a handgun. My husband picked the one he wanted for me and when I went to pay and fill out he wouldnt sell without background checking both of us???The couple in front of that bought one didnt get a background check on his lady only him.Thankfully my husband left his id in the semi so I didnt waste money being treated this way. I called SEVERAL other stores and NOT ONE said we both needed a background check to buy.Definitely wont get out daughters gun there either might need to get the entire family cleared by this guy! Go some place you are appreciated.I guess I should add seeing how I cant reply my husband looked for me because I was habdicap AND the worker knew that! He did NOT ask to prove we were married he CLEARLY stated we BOTH needed to be cleared! Never had a problem by hundreds of dollars of guns from anyone else there.I would like to add that this was the employee that treated us so terrible and that the owner who responded is only going off what he was told. Or he would know I HAD the proper id MINE!My husband is very familiar with laws he was in law enforcement until dirty politics were not his style.

Got a mossberg 12 GA shot gun and the owner was very nice but the gun had a defect it would not cycle properly on the day the gun Smith was going to be there we took the gun there the guy said there is no gun Smith he aint here if I look at it it will be 20-30 bucks my said can I exchange it NOPE we left and wont be going back I think the guy who served us was the bad person mentioned in the other review otherwise very nice shop

Friendly staff and fair prices

I walked in hoping to get help with my firearm that had a piece break on it, the man behind the counter was extremely informative and helpful, as he answered the questions I had and he pointed me in the right direction to order the part. Their friendliness and their knowledge of firearms and accessories is outstanding. I would highly recommend them.

Owner was kind of a jerk. Little did he know between my buddy and I we own more guns than he had on his shelves. Guess ill add to my collection at a shop that actually acknowledges a customer.

How does this place have such high ratings? There was only one guy working when I went in and he was not helpful at all. It seemed like I was inconveniencing him by asking a question… mind you it was only me and another customer in the shop. Not sure what’s with the attitude.Go elsewhere and give your hard earned money to a shop that deserves it.

Have went to Tilden Gun a few times now and I can say it is now my favorite place to go for anything firearm related. Tyler has been very helpful when my buddy and I have purchased guns and ammo here. Will definitely be going here for many years to come.

Good selection of guns, but the guy who works at the place is less than helpful. Acts like youre bothering him if you ask a question, short and unprofessional. Doesnt seem to care if he gets your business, so he wont be getting anymore of my $$.

Bought my colt on October 3rd went in to do the background check and came up as delayed no big deal. i submitted a background check with the fbi after still not having it come back as approved or denied. i decided to send back the rifle to the original seller. fast forward to dec 29th i paid the 20 ffl fee, i then called on the 13th of jan to check on shipping status and they informed me it has not shipped yet. fast forward to jan 21st still shipping. like are you kidding me sean?

First time ever buying my very own gun at the age of 22 and I will not be going back. Tyler was very rude with an ego I couldn’t stand. Very short with the answers we needed and very rude to my boyfriend and his friend. I accidentally checked a box that didn’t need to be check when filling out the paper work, (I checked no) and he laid the paper out in front of everyone there and stated “read this line”, “read this section for me” and I asked okay do you want me to redo it and he stated “no just draw a line through it” - was that necessary? Probably not. After that point if one more rude comment or action would have been made I was going to walk out and take my business elsewhere. Ego could come down a bit due to the fact he’s only there because he married the owners daughter. (From what I’ve heard so correct me if I’m wrong) But nice selection of guns.

I have shopped there twice now and would not drive 1/2 a block out of my way to shop there again. Both times I have found them to be be unhelpful, uncaring, flat out uninterested in answering questions or too lazy to care.

I got what I can tell from my research was a good deal on a rifle. The gentleman who helped me refused to be a pushy salesman, which I appreciated. He also did not judge any gaps in knowledge. Ammo prices are affordable. Go in look around very welcoming staff.

Ive bought two guns from there, they have a good selection of ammo and guns. But there one worker will not help you out will not be spending anymore money there because of him.

I deal with Tilden gun as often as possible. There are guns shops closer to me, but I would rather drive an hour and a half to deal with these guys. I have had GREAT customer service. They have very competitive prices and they are great to work with. If you are thinking about purchasing a new firearm these are the guys to deal with!!!!!

Absolutely pathetic customer service.I bought a new AR15 (BCM upper, Stag lower) from these clowns and when I got it there were dings on the gun and the upper and lower did not fit together correctly. They were wobbly even with pins fully inserted.I emailed the GunBroker contact, Sean Cantwell, and after clarifying my problem and showing that I knew what I was talking about I stopped getting responses. Over a week and a half of daily emailed were not answered. I then started calling the shop and some slow sounding employee told me that he will have Sean call me back, I called 5 days in a row.Dont waste your time with these crooks
