I went to get my prescription and the guy told me that I was supposed to wait and that he would call my name. I waited for 40 minutes and then I decided to go to ask. Another guy came and got my medicine packet from the shelf. The packet was there and they did not tell me nothing. They did not apologize. They employees should be more sympathetic in all aspect, even talking and answering to the costumers.
Been going to CVS for 30 years and for the third time did not have the pharmaceuticals doctor prescribed this year alone. If your going to carry pharmaceuticals you have to have them all. If you dont have simple prescribed items then you need to close down or you need to be knowledgeable enough to know where you can get them. Why sell 100 dollar netty pot with no salt pod refills for example. If you can not care about mankind and keeping people healthy then you DO NOT need to have this job.
Pharmacy closed? “We don’t have a pharmacist”. Seriously?Much needed medication unavailable because of staffing issues. This is a first for me.Unbelievable.Will be changing to another pharmacy, ASAP.
I just picked up my prescription today. I was prescribed an antibiotic (Augmentin) to take twice a day for seven (7) days for a sinus infection. I only received 9 tablets and should have 14. Augmentin are *GIANT* horse pills... how does one count them incorrectly??? Now I have to go back and explain that I was shorted. I also have to wait to start taking the medication so I can show the exact quantity that was filled. This is a one star review because 0 stars is not an option. I will never go to this pharmacy again.
Always have a problem with this pharmacy, there is a Chinese pharmacist there she always has an attitude about everything..
My daughter is a student at VT and weve had two poor experiences with this MinuteClinic. This past one, the nurse didnt check to see if the pharmacy could fill the prescription. Not only could they not, no other pharmacy in town could..Since I posted this, CVS corporate did call me and were very pleasant. The explanation is that Minute Clinic is a separate entity and just provide a treatment plan. Its up to the patient to complete it. As a customer, Im not confident about that.
8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, long line of people at drive-thru to pick up prescriptions and pharmacy is closed, again. Website states pharmacy opens at 8 and on calling, pharmacy is opening today at 10. How inconvenient.
Went to CVS Christiansburg on Wednesday June 9Charles “Norman” helped with minute clinic. Great service, highly recommend
The old lady working in the pharmaceutical I believe her name is Ruth is very rude and apparently does not like her job very much. She needs some customer service skills.
DO NOT Trust this pharmacy.
Had an appointment here. The cancelled it. Called to see why the cancelled it and they hung up on me. I wasn’t mad wasn’t rude I was actually overly polite. I dunno there are better local drug stores
Ive always had a good experience here and good customer service, Im not sure why there are so many bad reviews... Ive also had my flue vaccine here and it was a very good experience, the lady was very helpful and answered all our questions and made us comfortable.
The most competent pharmacy personnel Ive seen in awhile. This was, however, the first time I have used this pharmacy. I intend to return to this CVS for my future prescription needs. Good job.
Worse CVS I have been to. Dropped my prescription off Sunday and was told that they would have to call MD before they could fill. Even though I have been getting same medicine and strength for over 5 years. My doctors office called the pharmacy and confirmed Prescription was valid. When I went to pick up my medicine, the pharmacist refused to fill it. I took the same prescription to a neighboring CVS and had no trouble whatsoever. This CVS was very rude to me and my doctors!! The pharmacy tech that answered the phone as well as Pharmacist were extremely rude and unwilling to help a long standing customer!!! Horrible customer service!!
Staff always nice and informative. When my dad was going through hospice they were very caring. Ive been going to them for years.
Pharmacist was extremely friendly and attentive. Great experience!
I been getting my medicine there for over 30 years
Staff super nice. Store always clean .and they just put in a new ramp from the bus stop with rails to top of the hill. This makes it easier for all especially people with disabilities to get to the store. I seen other reviews that the staff is rude this may be true but they have never been rude to me
Always a great place to stop for last minute supplies. Has been under the same management for at least ten years or so and they do a really great job. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Prices are often quite competitive so one doesnt feel the need to drive all over to save money.
If they put the right amount of medication in your bottle and the people werent such A holes and acted unprofessional itd be a great place to go. The only good worker I saw there was the blood pressure machine
Self checkout now available
Friendly staff
Just the worst customer service, especially over the phone. Pharmacist hang up on you, ignore you, are extremely rude. Other store employees are also extremely rude, judge you, and couldn’t care less. Always have a bad experience with employees! Other CVS locations are fine, but I cannot stand this place! Don’t take your business here.
Worse place i have ever tried contacting you have to press the doctor button #2 and the cry until a real person not a recording will speak to you
The pharmacy staff is very rude and not very helpful.
I would also give ZERO stars if I could.. there is one young lady in particular that ALWAYS gives me a hard time when I go thru drive thru to drop off my prescription that I have gotten filled there for over a year... Today she told me that I could just get this over the counter .. ok there.. Are you my Cardiologist who prescribed that to me?!This will be the last time for me! She is also extremely rude!!!
I went to this pharmacy to get my daughters antibiotic prescription filled. When I pulled up to the drop off box the girl in the window told me what info to put on the prescription. I could barely hear as the speaker seemed to not be working well. I put all info on the paper and sent it. My 2 year old daughter was in the back seat and was upset and asking me a question so I turned back to answer her. When I turned back to the window the girl was looking at me like she was waiting on an answer. I didnt hear any questions come through the speaker. She very impatiently and RUDELY asked what time I wanted to pick up my prescription. I responded with a sometime this evening would be good. The girl..with the worst attitude I have ever dealt with in customer service responded with we close in 30 minutes, what about 12 tomorrow. I said okay that is fine. Right after I left I called back because after thinking about it without being flustered by the rude girl, I wanted my daughter to start the antibiotic as soon as possible. I called to ask if the prescription could be transferred to walmart pharmacy because the girl had said they closed in 30 minutes. The woman on the phone informed me that the pharmacy did not closed in 30 minutes and that she didnt know what was going on that it would be ready in 20 minutes. When I went to pick it up another girl behind the counter rudely said I guess I will get out of here when I get out of here. Worst service ever.
After years of abuse, my 80-some year-old parents have stopped going to this Christiansburg CVS and have moved their prescriptions to Kroger across the street. Although the pharmacists themselves are well-informed, they are overworked. Consequently, the main pharmacy assistant is assigned as the primary customer liaison, and he is consistently rude. Many customers from this community really need the wise counsel of a service-oriented pharmacy expert. The Assistant treats them curtly and meters out information like each sentence costs him a pint of blood, apparently failing to comprehend that their business is the reason he draws a paycheck.
Trying to get them on the phone is impossible. Even when you are getting transferred it ends up hanging up on you about 7 minutes in. Will be switching from cvs for sure.
I would give zero stars if I could. The WORST. The pharmacy staff is incompetent and unhelpful. Im put through an ordeal every time I want to simply refill a prescription that Ive been getting there for 18 months. Every month there is a new hassle. Im OUT. Its too bad, because the store managers seem like nice people.
LOL at the bad reviews the pharmacy is getting here because it is well deserved!!!!! I dropped off a handwritten prescription from my moms doctor yesterday and was told by a member of the pharmacy that it would be ready the next day, which is today. I went to the pharmacy thinking it would be ready, HOWEVER the prescription was out of stock to begin with and no one bothered to tell me ahead of time! The rude girl at the window said she just texted me about it being out of stock, BUT only after I was already at the store, and was confronting them about the lack of communication!! She was trying to make me look and feel stupid and didnt even bother to apologize about the mixup! I have never had a rude experience at this store until today! I called back to the pharmacy to complain about the lack of communication and customer service skills! These people can act like they dont care all they want, but they should because there are other pharmacies in town with better customer service and they could go out of business. Ridiculous some of them have to act this way!
The staff is consistently rude when i try to get my allergy medicine about 50%of the time they have an issue yet i can go somewhere else and get it the same day.One time they wouldnt give me my medicine becouse my license had a crack in it another it was i renewed my license even though i had photo id and a paper from dmv i couldnt get it. Several other times they told me i was over the limit of allergy medicine i went to another pharmacy the same day and got it. They have lost my business for good.
Theyre friendly I guess, but its overpriced, and feels outdated inside. There are better places to get literally anything you can get there. Havent tried minute clinic, but Ive heard mixed reviews of it myself.
Staff in Pharmacy are rude and slow. It’s more expensive, too
Always professional and spend time to make sure the prescriptions is correct
Always out of my medication. And it is hard to get someone on the phone to speak with at a pharmacy
Amanda in the Pharmacy was extremely rude and very short, would not recommend to anyone. Walgreens Pharmacy is hands down the better place for this area
Staff is consistently rude. If it had happened once I would overlook it and chalk it up to someone having a bad day. Not the case here.
Cvs Christiansburg Va Cashier constantly rude specially to a couponers like me that doing weekly deals, their coupons won’t scan even I got the right item never shop to this store again, Blacksburg Va is way better and friendly
Walgreens is way better! Their manager is awesome!
Great service, always good deals too!
Very rude every time I have went there they have gave me trouble if I could give them no stars I would!
Staff is rude and extremely unaccommodating.
Itsexpensive....
