99RM is Ultra clean. Went in for fruit and veggies. I wish I knew how some of these different fruits tasted so that I can introduce them to my kids. I bet theyre delicious!😋

Nice Asian marketplace. Good selection of fresh fish and other seafood. Meats can be a bit pricey. Nice selection of produce, sauces, and some frozen and dried noodles. Convenient location.

I like this store but some of the employees are rude and some are great Today I went and asked 2 ladies that were talking to each other (doing nothing) if they had a certain tea I was looking for... first they ignored me and then one lady sent me an isle that was totally different from what I wanted. It was like she sent me to the isle so that I would quit bothering them. Its a 50/50 chance of getting great service or horrible service. Left the store a little disappointed.

99 Ranch Market is a fantastic place to discover new things. Everyone was very nice and there was a huge selection. I found some new favorites here, and I will be returning for more.

Easy access to the 805 Intetstate Highway with plenty of parking. Was shopping for Sake and Plum wine. I asked an employee where I could find the Plum Wine and she pointed towards the liquor wall. I had to ask her exactly what shelf she was pointing towards. She seemed to be more intrested in her fellow employees who were using forrced air to clear an area of the store.

This is a relatively small Ranch 99 market in a narrow strip mall. Carries full selection of merchandise, clean and well organized. Greatly benefit south SD residents!

99 Ranch is one of my go to Asian groceries in San Diego. This is a Chinese grocery, but you can also find other food products from other Asian countries. They have a good bakery inside the store as well. Sign up for membership so you can get discounts on many items.

If youre not Asian decent they dont want to help you. I buy stuff here when Im cooking asian food.

Came to the store at 8:55 pm to buy a certain item. The store is open until 9 pm. The store was already closed and the employees were leaving, the manager said that the store was closed at 8:50 so that the employees left at 9. I have a question! How then are the opening hours until 9pm? This is the official opening hours. It would take me 5 minutes to make a purchase of one specific product. I don’t understand ... then you have to indicate work until 8:50 so that people do not waste time to go there, this is a consumer deception. And I dont understand how you can behave like that in retail, poor poor owner, because of such employees he loses clients and money...

Get all your Asian grocery needs quickly and easily.The deli section with takeout is yummy, and the diverse selection of everything from vegetables to seafood, meats, noodles and countless other items makes for fun exploring.Definitely a nice addition to the south bay!

We came for some jackfruit and to check the place out after all the hype. Its decent but a lot of the prices are still cheaper at Seafood City. Its worth checking out though to compare prices on sale items... employees seem pleasant.

I use to go up to convoy, until my friend told me about the one in chula vista. I will be frequently coming, now, I love cooking Korean dishes. This store is clean and I loved it because I found everything I was looking for. Plus cook ware. 5 stars.

This is probably the cleanest Asian market I have ever been to, but probably due to the fact that it just opened. For all Asian dishes and ingredients this is a great place to go. No need to commute to convoy anymore!

The store stinks!!! Especially where the fish and seafood are at.Smells bad!!

A few cashiers are very pleasant.But the workers will racial profile you and actually follow you around the store. Which shows you the programming in America has not changed. While theyre looking at me, their own people are stealing, saw that with my own eyes. SMH😒

Place well stocked. A little expensive in comparison with the same items at a competitor. I was there at 2:30 p.m. and there wasnt a line to enter. They also have a prepared/cooked foods section which is a convenient offering to some customers.

Chinese market with many items that will help you make that special dish just right. They have produce, liquor, meat & seafood counter, pastry, boba, & Chinese to-go dishes.

I was met with a rude chinese lady that worked there. I was kind and polite; She was rude.

The sales on Jackfruit when they have them is a good price, also, if you dont need the entire Jackfruit, even if you do, they will slice it up for you.

If you dont know 99 Ranch, be prepared to explore for a while!It has most common staples, but also many, many things that are truly exotic for people whove never been to east Asia.Enjoy!

Arrived at the store 5 minutes before closing time. the doors were already closed. The employee at the entrance said that the store closes at 8.50 because the employees have to leave the store at 9. Complete disappointment. Not ethical, not polite, cheating buyers. change your work schedule.

Why does 99 Ranch market think it is acceptable to sell its customers rotting produce? The produce selection is horrible here. Bags of bean sprouts past their best by dates sit on the shelves oozing. Its really gross and disappointing that they think so little of their customers. I dont cook with meat nor seafood, but I wouldnt be surprised if those departments are ran with the same negligent attitude. Buyer beware.

Amazing selection of foods Ive never heard of. Take out meal section, all kindsof dumplings, fresh fish, big selection of meat, prepackaged thinly sliced meats, seasonings, frozen selections, crazy vegetables... very wrlk stocked. i was not happy about congested entrance also being the exit. Great place to shop for my Chinese groceries. It has always this low key pleasant atmosphere and relaxing environment. The workers are friendly and nice.

I only come here once and awhile, when Im in this area. So far all my trips there have been positive. They have a really good hot food area with a great selection, all the food Ive ever ordered there has tasted good and was hot and fresh. They have a good butcher section and fish section. Oh, their fresh vegetables are good too. I definitely recommend this place, the cashiers are nice too.

Ive never been to this store before but it has a nice selection of asian food and fresh fish. Cant read the labels on some of the items but overall a very nice market. They actually have the chinese style duck, you know the kind you see hanging in the window? They have different kinds of cooked food. I bought rice crackers with seaweed. Delicious! Im a cracker fiend. They make the perfect snack. Would like to return here to look around some more. Im sure Ill buy more things. My daughter came her to buy ginger chews. I dont like them but anyway, they have lots of good stuff here. Store had a funny smell to it. Part fish and part something I dont know.....

One of my favorite places to shop for veggies/fruits since they have great specials depending on the season. If you know what you want, its usually fairly priced. I wouldnt recommend buying any regular branded items as they charge an extra dollar or so (like kerns juices etc). You can usually find many good things if youre willing to shop around and look. I only gave it 4 stars because not everyone speaks English. Not hating on this but it does make it difficult to communicate when youre in the meat department asking for certain meats/fish. But still, overall they work very hard and I appreciate everyone there. 😊

Im from oakland, ca. We have a 99 ranch market 1 city over and I go there often for my seafood and other supplies. This market tops the one we have here. The staff was super friendly (maybe we came on a good day?) Either way, good service is an automatic 5 stars for me and I just would like to say thank you to the staff at 99 ranch market.

It was exactly what I expected! Great options on things to buy but prices were high. Maybe due to difficulties getting things. I could have done without some of the rude shoppers but it did not come as a surprise in this kind of market.

I have never had better service when shopping for meat at a meat counter. The meat is always fresh and the butchers are always helpful. These guys go above and beyond when service is needed. As for the rest of the store, 99 Ranch is my go to store when making anything out of the ordinary American menu. Their shelves carry everything I need. I have never had to go looking elsewhere. Also, everyone in the store is helpful and knowledgeable when you need a question answered. The store itself is kept very clean as well.

Service is good and they have a full array seafood and oriental food. They have one of the best Chinese delis located at s 99 ranch store in the San Diego area. The Chinese deli is so good they sell out by 5 or 6 PM eveyday. The customer service at the deli is always excellent. This is the best 99 Ranch deli in the San Diego area with excellent customer service and prices.

Good selection, good quality, friendly service, and a must come shopping trip for those certain foods you cant find any where else.

Im familiar with this chain of Asian markets however, the staff at this particular store is super courteous and helpful. This was my first time actually shopping each aisle to stock my new kitchen at my new place. I recommend this store to anybody that wants a friendly and quick shopping experience.

Fun store to browse and try new and different types of food. Seems pricey on some items. Parking is sufficient and store is clean. All of your Asian food and some kitchen tools are available. They have a hot food counter for prepared items and a pretty big seafood dept.

Yay! They had rice back in stock and everything else!(beginning of Covid) This is an Asian food based store. You can find most sought after, hard to find asian foods and ingredients here. Mostly Philipino, vietnamese and Chinese food stuffs here.

Great oriental market with a great selection of hard to find asian flavors. You dont need to be asian to go into these stores. Curious people might even find some new food to try. Dont be shy give it a try.

Ive bought meat from this establishment before, and never has it been this horrible. I bought Oxtails... the meat was old, and it wasnt until I opened it that the smell slapped me. I WILL NEVER BUY MEAT FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Just like the little one on Balboa up North. Not as big as the one on Clairmont. That one is HUGE! Had everything I needed. Love this place!
