Fast, friendly courteous service exemplified.While out of the country a friend purchased two bikes for me. Given where I live, there are actually 2 Bicycle Warehouses that are closer to me. But when I need to bring the bike in for its first routine service I figured its best to go to the place where the bikes were sold.The folks at BW told me to come on down. They took my bike, serviced it (ghost shifting), and got it back to me in 4 business days. Everything was handled in a prompt friendly professional manner.Its a testament to their professionalism that from now on whenever I have an bicycle issue I will be going the extra mile to their store. Good service is hard to find and when you find people who do quality work its wise to continue patronage.The way they handled their business sold me. Give em a try they wont do you wrong.

Had the best customer service! Juan was super helpful helping me buy a bike that fits my needs. He was so patient and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend for anyone looking a bike for themselves or your kids. My kids where super happy with their new bikes and Juan helped get us all set up to go. I went here to get my bike fixedThe issue, I have an electric bike and they do not work on electric bikes. But he did tell me what was wrong with my bike and we were able to fix itAlso he put air in my tires and I did not have to take mu bike any where. Cool place!!!

I’m looking to purchase an e-bike under $2,000. The Bicycle Warehouse is very conveniently located. I could drive there in 10 minutes, but that’s not going to happen because after reading all the reviews posted I have no confidence that I’ll get competent caring service. It’s nice that the two gal owners respond cheerily to negative feedback, however their answers didn’t inspire any confidence on my end. The bit about the chain lube spoke volumes about this firms approach to doing business. Remember “The Golden Rule”? I don’t see that philosophy being implemented here. A free dab of chain lube could have created lots of good will. This company seems clueless about how to treat customers or hir and train good employees. Don’t have enough people on staff? Then go hire some! There are lots of good folks available. I’d prefer to do business with a mom & pop shop with different values.

No clue how there are low reviews for this store. Needed a new trail worthy, sub $1,000 bike for my son, 12 years old 5’5” and growing FAST. We stopped in to look at some entry level hard tails, which they had in stock. They setup two different bikes with pedals for us to test ride, loaner helmets, and tips on all the controls. They gave no pressure and were just absolutely helpful. Ended up buying a Giant Talon 1 27.5 in a medium frame. They went so far as to trim the seat post down a few inches for my son to give him room when he drops the seat. It was my first time to this store and they absolutely will get future business from me. Great buying experience!

I went in and got EXACTLY the bike that was right for me at an affordable price. A great purchase combined with an extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. No car salesman bs. Just an honest and straight up approach even after they became aware I was a beginner. They had to convince me to not purchase the bike on the spot and instead go home, do some research and come back if I still wanted it. Im sure glad I did. Worst customer service ever.Purchased a $900+ road bike without prior test riding. The first time I ride the bike out after the purchase, 3 miles into the ride and the entire back transmission gear ripped apart from the core and chain was snapped in half. Logically assumed that it was some sort of installation problem or quality related issues, with the fact that I have been riding bikes for more than 5 years and clearly understand how the gear system functions.Brought the bike back to store and the customer service was absolutely unprofessional and unacceptably horrible. The front desk manager, namely Mark, acted and spoke as if they have zero responsibility toward the failure of the bike. His attitude of unconcern indirectly questions that I was the one that broke the bike.Requested a full refund already from the management of Bicycle Warehouse. Will never visit the store ever again. If you are looking for bike stores that provides relatively friendly and responsible customer service, this store is definitely not your choice.

It’s okay I just felt I wasted my time there I mean I rode my bike 6 miles expecting to get some supplies. I check out the store on website it looks pretty good but when I got there everything was over price and they legit didn’t have anything I asked for. I did buy this mirror for road bike and I asked how is this item and he said it’s okay pretty good, but when I put it to the test we’ll let’s just say it does not work I mean I could see out of it. It’s just better to look over your shoulder.

Went in there to get some chain lube they cant just put a few drops of lube on my chain. Whatever its not a problem. But I went in and they dont have any bike races for my fork. Everything they have is complete bike parts nothing individually.

The staff here is super friendly! Mark and Gilbert are awesome. Sometimes I go there and test ride the latest bikes and just talk shop with them. They sell Giant, Santa Cruz, Niner bikes. My dad and my friends bought their bikes from here and are completely satisfied! I like it when a bike shop goes out out of their way to make sure their customers are happy.

Poor customer service, snide. Would not consider changing tires an hour before closing. And said it would be ready the next day in afternoon. For $65!!!. Went to Dicks sporting store.. later hours. Nicer, helpful employees. And changed 2 tires on my road bike in 20 min for $21.

$85 dollars to install front and back brakes and that’s taking in new brake lines for them to install, they said it would take over a week. Insane. I went to Baja California USA literally down the road and it was $35 to install both brakes and two new tires with new brakes they provided and it was done in two hours. Plus you’re supporting a mom and pops place. Bike warehouse is a scam

Great!!! I wasnt planning on my bike being ready after a few short hours i was expecting 2 1/2 days. Marcos took the time to ensure everything works and went back to the service center to make further adjusting. Highly recommended. I cant afford a new bike, but rest assured that when the time comes will purchase here.

During these times of COVID, the shop went digital in order to answer customer’s questions, a digital representative by the name of Juan. I waited “15 min” for a few questions I had about putting my bike together. Honestly, it would have taken 2-3 min to answer my questions...had he been there to answer them. After waiting for him to reply my initial salutations, the digital conversation went downhill: after he answered two (2) of my question, he just dropped out and didn’t answer any longer after a green dot was still showing him on-line to answer questions.I felt like he did not want to answer any more question, and left me hanging. Yes, I would’ve understand if he would have excused himself by telling me “...give me 5 min to do x-y-z.” It’s called COMMUNICATION, BEING ATTENTIVE, and POLITE; just let me know of what’s going on. I do understand that I’m not the only customer there, BUT keep my INFORMED.At this point, I’ll be taking my business somewhere else. Thanks, Juan.

Took my Roam in to the PB shop to get new higher handlebars so I could sit more upright due to a back injury. They had to lengthen the cables due to the new hight. All work was done perfectly and in a short time. Great job

Update: I gave them a five star review, because of how fast management went above and beyond to solve my issue. After leaving a bad review about my order taken a very long time to process and told it was shipped when it was not. I was contacted by management.After talking to them and giving my order number, I was pleased to know they actually did care and did everything they could to resolve my issue.I will give bicycle warehouse another chance, just for how they responded to my issue, it feels good to know management cares and will resolve the issue if you have one. You can put trust in shopping here.

There stock is a bit small but like most local bike shops, they can get the part ordered for you. I thrash my bike regularly and Im in need of parts. This is my go to local bike shop from now on.

Their whole operation is a joke, they have a system were you cant get a hold of anybody in their store their 1800 number goes to a rep that has no customer service.

Im a recreational cyclist and after many years and miles on the bike, I stop riding for medical reasons, 5 years after finally I can go back again to the road and just visit your Chula vista store, I found the same great service and big inventory as before, service, parts and bikes, but the best of this business is the people working there, always ready to help and advice, all the staff is very professional, they look like really like people and bikes, I always recommend this place to friends and family, because is just just the best place to service or buy a bicycle.Thanks a lot Mark!!

Went in there today (Dec 8) to get a trailer or rack for my Giant tcx cross bike cus Im traveling North and need a better way to haul my stuff then holding a bag and steering with one arm. They tried helping me but options are limited because the frame has limited mounting points. Thus I dont have a rack or trailer, non the less the staff are good folks and I did get some apparel. The shop is decently equipped and I think the only Giant brand dealer in Chula Vista. I recommend others to pay them a visit.

Bought a bike there, recommended their shop and come to find out they disrespected who i sent to them to buy a bike. Train your employees to not judge people for their apperances. Quit questioning how deep your clients pockets are. I could name the employees but i rather not. Dont go here unless its your last resort. Maybe then theyll start caring more for proper customer service. I know ill get a reply on here with an apology from perhaps the owner but that still doesnt make it okey for your employees to look down on others or even question social status. If a person walks in looking for a 6k$ bike dont question if they can afford it and recommend something cheaper that they didnt walk in looking for. thats disrespectful in my eyes. Website said tyre trade in deal had ended, got there and they offered it? Slightly annoying. I only wanted a cheap set of tyres, cheapest they had were $30 each. I saw some in SD city centre for $18 earlier that day and thought this place would have more choice being a warehouse. The guy I spoke to was helpful though.

They are rude and I dare say they even discriminate, they did not offer me help, lousy service, I prefer Performance a thousand times.

I bought my bike with them, and they brought it to me damaged, and they said there was no guarantee, then I bought some pedals and paid them to install them, the young man who installed them looked like he didnt know how to do it, he dropped my bicy of the stand, and continued struggling until my bicy was taken to a place where I no longer saw him until he returned with the pedals installed, when I left I noticed that the crank was folded, I called them and told them and they were not responsible for The damage that they themselves did to my bicy, beware of the main street store, which is where I had that experience. I hope that this serves someone.
